    WaterBGone Basement Waterproofing
Joe Safie conducts himself in a professional manner and he is very knowledgeable in his field of work. After he came to look at my basement, I felt very confident contracting with his company. His crew showed up on time and ready to work. They were respectful of my property and put down carpet covering and plastic to keep my home clean while they worked. Everyone worked hard and they left my home clean. I appreciate that attention to detail. This was a big repair for me and Jeremy answered any questions I had. This helped reassure me that my basement water problems were getting resolved. I would highly recommend WaterBGone. This is a professional company and I am very impressed with their work. Thank you to Joe, Jeremy and all the guys on the crew, youre awesome!!

Cody and crew were polite, confident, on time or early, clean cut, professional and looked like they enjoyed what they were doing. The finished product exceeded my expectations. They leveled my family room slab and hearth, front sidewalk and side walkway. I would definitely hire this company again.

We are so grateful and appreciative for all the outstanding work Rob Marion did on our basement (2005) and kitchen (2007). He worked his magic twice for us, and our house is so much more amazing and livable than when we started. Rob immediately had a vision of what our house could look like and saw potential that we could not see ourselves. We would have never thought to move the bathroom or widen the laundry room he has a true gift for seeing what a space can become. Once we started, we found out quickly that this project was going to be full of surprises from the water pipes in the drops to moving the can lights, to redoing the shape of the island - many things were not as we expected and we appreciate how he took it all in stride, made the changes that needed to be made, and worked hard to deliver an amazing product. After living through three months of construction and dealing with many contractors, we found out time and again that Rob were the only one that we truly trusted. The other contractors passed the buck, cut corners and took the easiest way out. Rob was honest, true and thorough and as he says were going to make it right. We admired how he took the twists and turns of this job in stride and never failed to do an ethical, proper job. Even in moments of frustration, we did not see him cut corners. He stood up for us time and again. After his part of the project was complete, and another contractor fell through, Rob returned to complete our oven vent. Again and again, he was the one who came through for us and got it done and got it done right. Our friends and family have all been amazed at the transformation of our kitchen and our house. We are able to use and enjoy our house in ways that we never could before. We cant thank Rob enough for all that he did for us and for your professionalism and follow through. Be assured that the next home project we decide to tackle that he will be the one we call!

Making the decision on this project was not taken lightly. We met with a variety of basement remodel companies in the area. We looked at premanufactured systems, other highly rated Angie contractors, and referrals from friends. All of them lacked the ability to collaborate on our vision, they seemed rushed and almost annoyed by having any discussion about what we wanted. Craig was different from the get-go. He came out initially and met with my wife to discuss the project. We were originally shopping bids at the time. Craig actually encouraged us to do so. He advised us to speak to everyone in the area and that if we wanted to go with him to give him a call. This is exactly what we did and I couldn't be more happy with our decision. When he came out for the second consultation he was nothing but genuine and authentic in his demeanor. He shared his catalog of exquisite work. He took his time to actually listen to us. This was super important after comparing the process with other GC's. Work done included the following: Framing Drywall - walls and Ceiling Electrical - Pot lights, outlets, etc. Plumbing -Shower -Toilet -Urinal -Sink in bathroom -Sink in kitchenette Build out of an office section to house our computers and assorted gaming gear A living/TV area Glass block Window replacement A new circuit breaker to replace fuse panel. He made it very clear that his crew is filled Artisans who care about their craft. Attention to detail can be seen in the exquisite millwork that was done around what could have been a very basic stairwell. On the topic of his crew, I wanted to highlight John, Nathan, Dan, Winston, and Kenny. He hires people that are friendly, and couldn't be more accommodating to our requests. We had some strange ones and they took it in stride. They were all super friendly and cleaned up the site after each work day. The whole project took approximately 7 weeks. We were actually sad to see them go! One specific memory was when the bathroom was being laid out. Craig had me come into the then unfinished space, and took measurements of me for the shower! It was like having a custom tailored suit. Incredible! Did I mention that we asked them to put a urinal in addition to the toilet in the bathroom? Craig said "no problem, we can do that" and they did. When inviting people over to see the finished space their jaws drop. We couldn't be more pleased with the professionalism, kindness, and prompt attention to any issues that came up during the project. I plan on using Artistic Construction and Design for any future projects. If you are looking for an authentic, original thinker who is patient and understanding of their customer's needs, than look no further. We asked Craig to build us a space that was clean, safe for our children, and modern. This is exactly what he did. He was passionate about the project and excited to help us realize our dreams. Stop your search here folks!

    Detroit Concrete Leveling
Detroit Concrete Leveling was punctual, worked quickly, and did a great job leveling my sidewalk. When the filler used to fix the crack in my sidewalk settled a little too low, they came out promptly and fixed it. I was very impressed.

    Budget Basements
We are perfectly happy with them. We have no complaints whatsoever. They remodeled our basement, started from scratch cause the basement was unfinished. They put up walls and flooring, kitchen and bathroom. They did the whole thing. Electrical, plumbing, they did the whole thing. They basically gave me an entire new house. My basement is an apartment. Basements is what they do. Basements are what they do and they do it well. I have no problem recommending them to anybody. They were right in the middle. We got 5 quotes. There were a couple that were a little bit lower. There were two that were higher. They were right in the middle. I feel like we paid around $45000 all together. It was right on the budget quoted. A couple of items went over budget but we knew it would and a couple of items were under budget. Overall it was right inline with what they told us it would be. Their office is only couple of miles away from the house so the owner Phil, he was here everyday. He called all the time, checked in with us. If had to call him, which I did once or twice with a question, he called me back within an hour, so they were very responsive. They told me the work would start at 8 on the first and at 7:45 they were pulling into my driveway. The guy is a pro. He knows what he's doing and he knows how to deal with people. He said he'll do kitchen too, but he doesn't do kitchen designs. He does basement designs and setup. He said he'll do our kitchen if somebody else does the design.

Mid-February, I think we started the process. He came to the house. He took measurements. He took some pictures. He asked me what are you picturing, what would you like. a week or two later, we went to his office and he had some designs drawn up and you know we made a few tweaks here and there but within a month of him coming to do the estimate we were ready to start doing the work. No cost for the estimate but we did had to pay for permits.

    ACE Mud Jacking
He was a little more expensive but guarantees his work for five years. He used a stabilizing materiel no one else does. He's coming out at the first of the week to fix it right away.

They gave a 10% discount on Angie's List.  I would absolutely use them again. There's no question about that.

    A-1 Concrete Leveling Southeast Michigan
They were cordial but I didn't like the materiel they use. I am not an expert I just did a a lot of research. I didn't like the material they were going to use to mud-jack and stabilize because it could require needing further work on it. The warranty sounded like it was limited.
