    WaterBGone Basement Waterproofing
Joe Safie conducts himself in a professional manner and he is very knowledgeable in his field of work. After he came to look at my basement, I felt very confident contracting with his company. His crew showed up on time and ready to work. They were respectful of my property and put down carpet covering and plastic to keep my home clean while they worked. Everyone worked hard and they left my home clean. I appreciate that attention to detail. This was a big repair for me and Jeremy answered any questions I had. This helped reassure me that my basement water problems were getting resolved. I would highly recommend WaterBGone. This is a professional company and I am very impressed with their work. Thank you to Joe, Jeremy and all the guys on the crew, youre awesome!!

    HomeSpec BasementFix
HomeSpec did a fantastic job!! The initial visit was to assess and quote the cost. Everything was explained in excellent detail, and a quotation was provided. Basically the basement floor was removed around the entire periphery of the basement using a jack hammer. They removed the concrete floor coming out about one foot from the wall. Then a trench was dug down about eight inches from the top of the foundation, or below the bottom of the concrete floor. The new drain pipe was installed with pea gravel stones around the entire basement foundation to my sump pump. The original drain pipes were left in and continue to drain. The new drain pipe is basically sitting just above it and enters my sump pit. A large section of my basement is finished, and they were able to do this work without a major tear up (depending on your perspective). Basically they removed about 18 inches of dry wall, removed the base plate, with the wall hanging freely from the upper floor joist. They were able to do all the work I described above leaving the wall hanging. After they finished, they reinstalled a new base plate, drywall, and filled in all the joints with joint compound. All I have to do is prime and paint it. A couple final notes. They added about 5 flush out points around the entire system. This allows me to 1) see inside the pipe and the water level, 2) easily snake out the drain pipe if needed, and/or flush it out with a hose. This is a really valuable feature. The workers were great... these guys worked there tails off. The main work consisted of a Team Leader, with a crew of 3 - 4 guys. Communication was very good.. I always knew what was going on. They arrived between 8:00 - 9:00 AM everyday, and worked until 7:00 PM... one night until 10:00PM. Adding the new drain system itself took 3 days, and another 2 days to do the finished area with dry wall. This could have been done in one day, but the joint compound needed to dry... so they're limited. I am so please with the job this company has done, and it's a lifetime warranty that's transferable if you sell the house. Based on what I see, I'm very confident the problem is fixed. We just had some heavy rain over the weekend, and not a drop of water anywhere. For anyone experiencing the water seepage I described above, you can feel confident with HomeSpec to do a quality job, and fix the problem. One last note... this is a messy job. They do take every precaution to limit the dust and dirt by laying down plastic on the stairway, walkways, and covering everything in the basement, but you need to realize dust is going to be in the air. But, the job has to get done if you have this problem, and I was very pleased with all the prep work they did to limit the dust.

    EverDry Waterproofing of S.E. Michigan
Once they met there time table of three days and argument was resolved by the fourth day things were fine. They repaired a serious crack in the corner foundation and tarred and plastic the rest of the outside foundation installing two dry wells with gravel to help ease any load on their system as we live in a flood plain where water is 12" down and sump runs every 20 minutes into our pond before slow drainage out far end. It has been so dry in MI this summer I have never seen the water table or the Clinton River so low. Will have to see whose system pumps more water in future. Nice finish cement work and outside cleanup. I would rate this company a 10 even though we had to come to an argument and $30. Stop payment when they thought they were finished. I hope we remain friends as I grew to like these guys working side by side for three days. Mike the owner is a very reasonable man and considered us family until we had our bump in the road. I hope he still feels that way as his company is the best around with polite workers and quality work. I think highly of him and all his crew. They stopped lunch to help me move a 600lb safe into the house. As I said great guys and good management . I just wished I stayed ahead of them in clearing drywall and studs and there would have been no problem. Rate them 10 in all areas of the job Thank you! Gary Baker 37560 Hayes Road Clinton Twp. 586 4892303 Feel free to contact me about this company as they are the best in waterproofing and basement repairs.

On a Saturday morning after a night of heavy rains - and a week after losing power during a snow storm - our sump pump was not working properly.  Because we were leaving on an overnight trip, it was imperative that we have it assessed as soon as possible.   I started calling companies on this List, but some were too busy to come out that day, and in a couple of cases, the extra service charge was inordinately high (Saturdays are considered "emergency calls."). Michigan Supreme answered promptly and the gentleman gave me a 2-hour time frame during which a service rep would arrive.  The serviceman - Justin - called at the beginning of the time frame, verified the address, and arrived within minutes.  He explained the problem, discussed the issue I was having with the backup unit, offered the solution to our original problem, and set to work.  Within 45 minutes, Justin installed a new sump and we were able to leave for the night assured that our basement wasn't going to be waterlogged when we got home.  Justin is congenial, clearly knowledgeable and very professional, and the price was reasonable compared to others quoted.

The project was performed on a house built in 1947. We're not sure when the old aluminum siding was installed but probably when the house was built. The original white aluminum siding was replaced with a barn red vinyl siding that made the house look dramatically different,.
Because the house is so old, there were many obstacles to deal with such as electrical boxes, plumbing items, etc.
The team that did the work was very professional and skilled. One of the team worked for this company for 30 years. It took about a week to complete the job.

    HomeSpec BasementFix
We had water in our basement about two weeks ago following the melt of much snow, experiencing our first flood in a 14 year old home. Another company took care of drying out the furniture and floor, removing carpet and drywall. We had discovered the source of the water, a vertical crack running the entire length of the wall.
We had 4 companies provide estimates, and the approaches varied from painfully expensive to not much cheaper than this for a fix that didn't sound like more than an exterior bandage. Ted from HomeSpec did a good job explaining the process that they would use, and why it should work in our situation. In addition to the large crack, there were small cracks/leakages in another part of the basement that would be addressed with the foam injection as well.
Jack came to the house this morning to complete the repair. The company had estimated 5 hours of work time, but he was done in about 3.5 hours. Right now the foam is seeping a bit through the concrete patch, but we can knock off the excess in a few days after the seal dries.
Both the estimator and the Jack were very punctual and only time will tell if this fixes our problem. I'm certainly hopeful it will.

    4 Ever Water Tite
From start to finish were so happy with the whole crew. Dug out 26 feet along my house where my gas line ,sump pump ,electrical lines and sprinkler system exist. They dug out around all of it by hand! Without one problem which was a great concern. They dug to base of basement and replaced drain tile, put plastic drain board up , filled with gravel and dirt. They cleaned up every day and you could not even tell the whole side of my house was dug up. Every single person in the crew were polite and knowledgable about all the questions we had. Wish we would have found them earlier. We have had a heavy rainfall and no water in the basement!! What a relief!!! Thank You Bob and your crew excellant work!

    Basement Systems of Michigan
Initally contacted the company 2 months ago for an estimate and spoke with a person.  They made a recommendation on getting a thermal imaging evaluation since I have a finished basement and wasn't sure exactly were the leak was.  After taking their recommendation, was able to isolate where the leak was without tearing down a lot of walls.  Reached out to the company 4 times over 10 days and left messages.  I was trying to get them to do two basements for me and said as much in my messages.  Not one returned call.  Since the weather is changing, I can no longer wait for them.  If this is how I ran my business, I wouldn't have one.  Very dissapointing that Angie's list shows them with high ranking, but they are not responsive.  I would not choose them until they get thier act together.  All I asked for was a call back - they already had the job, just needed to call.  I understand that companies can get busy, but not even returning a clall is unacceptable.  I will be selecting someone else to do the work and I won't be recommending them to anyone else I know.

    A+ Restoration Services
Workers arrived promptly at 9:30 and the supervisor Brett arrived shortly after.
They started on the smaller crawlspace and completed it in quick fashion putting down a new 6 mil vapor barrier after doing the agreed upon mold remediation.
They moved to the larger crawl space and after an inspection, they found some mold behind the insulation and a rotted spot in in the band board between one set of Joists. all of the major joists were clean and mold free, so they performed mold remediation around the perimeter. They also determined they needed a longer board to make a satisfactory joint repair. They purchased and installed the proper
board. As they began to install the new vapor barrier they made me aware of dampness in a portion of the crawl space probably from the rain earlier this week. They noted no mold in the area so it was just a heads up for me.The extra work added about 2 man hours to the
job. While they submitted an invoice at the original price, I asked them to add an amount to cover the extra work and the added inspection.
I felt there work was performed  very well and and the added work and information that i gained about the crawl space was worth the nominal extra fee we agreed upon.
I feel very comfortable recommending Jeff and his company to my friends and neighbors
