  • The turned it on, but missed a lot of broken heads. We paid hundreds of dollars for this service. The tech spent a lot of time on it and complained about how much he had to walk to do it. When he left, many heads were sprinkling the driveway, street, and walkway. He missed six heads that were completely broken. Had another tech out to fix them, and we were charged again for the tech time, and he still missed two broken heads. The ones that were working were still not adjusted correctly. A lot of money for sub par service. First tech was very unpleasant about it all. Pass this company up and look for another.

  • When I called to make the appointment I reported that we had successfully turned on the water to the sprinklers after the winter, but that now most of the zones would not work. The scheduler insisted on calling the service a "spring turn on" even though I explained more than once that the water was on, and that the problem was much bigger than that. As I feared the technician was only scheduled for a short amount of time but he spent 3 hours trying to fix the problem, missing other appointments. Then he had to leave, but had to turn off the water to all the sprinklers. He said he'd be back that afternoon or the next day to complete the job. The next day I got a call from the scheduler who told me that oh, no he couldn't be back again for several days! When I said the water was off, and that we were leaving for a 2 week vacation, the best she could do was schedule the tech for almost two weeks later! When he did come back out the problem was still not fixed and we ended up fixing the problem ourselves. Also, they seem to need more people. This is the second time I've used them and each time the earliest appointments are too far out into the future.

  • Giles and Austen worked tirelessly the first day approximately 7 hours (14 man hours) on Friday. I made a partial payment for the work completed. Giles called me on the weekend to ask if they could complete the system on Monday. They returned on Monday to complete the system for about 5 more hours (10 man hours). I paid the balance and was able to use the 10% Angie's List customer discount for the total purchase price. Also, I should say they left the system operational if I wanted to water on the weekend, but I chose to wait until the system is complete. Giles demonstrated the new 12 zone capable Hunter Controller the first day and left the manual. On day two he showed me the condition of the existing Anti-siphon device. He said could repair the existing one for about half the cost of a new one. However, I decided based upon the age of the device to just have him install a new Anti-siphon. He also updated the outdoor plumbing and raised the Anti-siphon up to comply with the code. Basically, all the existing heads were replaced with new updated Hunter Brand, plus they balanced the separate 7 zones for coverage and added lines and heads where needed. This was made possible because one of the existing zones only had one head on it because we had long ago disabled a portion that was solely directed at landscape shrubbery. The current system now has approximately 35 heads distributed throughout the zones. The only thing that was not updated is the 7 valves. The 12 zone timer allows for future expansion and additional valves can be added as necessary. We also have great water pressure at this location. We have the largest lot in the subdivision at .66 aces with a 1800 square foot house in the middle with various landscaping areas throughout. Because we are in a cul-de-sac the lot is essentially pie shaped. They also let me know that I need to treat the lawn for grubs. Giles also suggested that i should fertilize the lawn for the winter. Plus, he told me the first day about a product to spot kill the weeds, since I told him I am considering totally replacing the lawn with new sod. On day two he purchased on my behalf a bottle of Gordon's Speed Zone Lawn Weed Killer. He explained how to use it, but said if I did not want to use it he could easily return it. He also said that it would kill the weeds but not harm the grass. They have knowledge gained by over 30 years experience in water management. They are also ASSE and State certified to test backflow prevention devices. As their website indicates, "We Repair What Other Contractors Can't." They did a wonderful job. They are very efficient and make it look easier than it is due to their training and experience. This is why I just recommended them to the Homeowners Association for some sprinkler repairs.   • After installing a sprinkler system and new sod I decided to contract a reputable service to fertilize.  I've been using Natural Way for a couple of years.  The lawn has done well with their treatments.  However, last year, 2014, I noticed "skid marks" left by the technician in several areas of my year.  (Natural Way uses large heavy riding power equipment.)  I asked that they used more caution in the future.  Again earlier this year I found more "skid marks: in my yard.  And again I asked the they use more care in the future.  Last Friday morning, 8/28/2015,  the skid marks were so severe that the lawn will not be able to repair itself.  Then in the afternoon the aeration technician left skid marks so severe that of bare soil was uncovered.  At one location a 5 foot length dirt track was left.  I called a complained.  Natural Way sent a man out with a rake and some grass seed.  What is needed is re-soding several areas along with tamping down the ruts to level the yard back out.

  • Great company and I love them. Honest and straight. They may not be the totally cheapest people out there but they are also not the most expensive as well. They respond great and have exceeded my expectations. I will continue to use Brooks Irrigation and continue to recommend them. Totally recommend them for your irrigation needs.

  • American Lawn Sprinkler called me to set up a time which was today. After the service I found out that this was a different company. The original company was American Sprinkler and they did not contact me. After talking to them today, they said they didn't have any record of me.

  • Great! The person who installed my sprinklers was supposed to winterized them which was included in the price. They decided they didn't want to do it. Brooks irrigation came in and saved the day! They were professional, courteous and on time. Everything went great. I'm going to call them in the spring to fix the items the sprinkler installer messed up. Id rather deal with professionals.
