Sold By Eric Team - Keller Williams
From start to finish. my experience with the Eric Jurmo team was exceptional. Timely communication and updates were always provided. All actions and issues were handled in a professional manner. The professional photographer presented the home beautifully. Ryan my agent and Kassandra (support pro) are some of the best. What I experienced was not a real estate agent selling my home it was a sales team of professionals focused on listing, selling and closing as soon as possible for a realistic selling price. Very happy.

    College Works Painting Michigan
Project manager failed to manage his crew, failed to show up when scheduled or when he stated he would return to the site. Work listed in the signed contract was NOT completed and the painting - caulking work was not even close to being professional or even novice level. After the third late scheduled return to the site, the manager was informed to leave our property due to substandard work and personnel. We received a phone call from a person who stated he was a regional manager for College Works Painting. HE scheduled a date and time to come to our property to review the project and discuss what they could do to complete the project satisfactory. He FAILED to arrive and DID NOT call to reschedule our meeting. Many attempts were made to contact both the regional manager and local crew manager but all were unsuccessful. Voice messages left to both managers requesting the return of our personnel check for our down payment have been ignored and we have not received further contact and or a return of our check.

    College Works Painting
On May 13, 2017 we signed a Home Improvement Contract with College Works Painting Project Manager Mark Danks for exterior painting, caulking, and minor repair to trim around a door. We provided Mark with a personal check in the amount of $850.00 (half of the contract price). The check has not been cashed to date, and has NOT been returned to us despite numerous requests and costs for "Stop Payment" services to our bank. When we signed the contact we were advised the personnel who would be completing the work are painting professionals. When the "crew" arrived (over 1 hr late) on the first day of the project, it was obvious they were college students and NOT the professional painters as represented during the project estimate planning. One of our first indicator of non-professionals was when Mark Danks attached a rope to one of his assistants, threw the rope over the top of our house to the backyard side and tied the rope to a tree. One of the projects on our contract was to paint an exterior entry door. A crew member assigned to this task did NOT prep, clean or tape the glass, locks, or metal before beginning to paint. Caulking work as listed on the contact was NOT complete nor was the product used with the knowledge of the product drying time between application and painting. At this point in the project I spoke with the Project Manager, Mark Danks. I expressed my concerns regarding work being performed and the lack of professional skills. Mark Danks and his crew departed our house to begin work at another job site and said they would return later in the day to continue applying the first coat of paint. No one from the "Crew" returned to our house and we did not received contact from Mark Danks until after 7:30 pm stating they would return in the morning by 8:00 a.m. On the second day of the project, two of the "crew" arrived but were over an hour late. After observing some additional work being performed, we decided to stop the project until we could communicate with a College Works Painting supervisor in Lansing MI. I received a phone call from Aaron Sentofanti (517-802-7411) District Manager for College Works Painting. Aaron offered to meet with us at our home to evaluate the project and attempt to resolve our issue. Aaron never called or arrived at our home. I have repeatedly call his number and receive only a voice message. To date the project remains incomplete and unsatisfactory. We have not received our check despite our requests, we are unable to communicate with College Works Painting management. We would not recommend this organization, it's representatives and it's employees.

Tri-Lakes came out with 48hrs of us contacting them. Their tech diagnosed the problem as the compressor needing to be recharged but that since the fridge was over 10yrs old, the compressor may need to be replaced if it didn't hold the recharge. They gave us a price for both and we had them recharge it. Sure enough, a week later the fidge wasn't holding temp. Since the cost of the new compressor was as much as a new small apartment fridge (all we need at our cottage), we decided to buy a new fridge vs have a new compressor put in a 10yr old fridge. About 10 days later, a check arrived in the mail from Tri-Lakes refunding our service call fee for the recharge because they didn't fix the problem. WOW!! We didn't expect a refund. We took our chances by choosing the recharge. Tri-Lakes has our business for life.

    Brian Frost Landscaping
Brian was not trust worthy. He talked a good game but never followed through. He was never on the job site.  We have to get an attorney to try and get nearly $8000.00 back.  He over charged for the little he did and what he did do has to be torn out and done again. He left our yard a mess and equipment all over for the entire Winter.

Clayton S Eby Building Services Inc
The request for information and a possible bid was addressed promptly and professionally. ( I had reviewed the "reviews and comments" before I contacted Mr. Eby.) After receiving all bids, I contacted Mr. Eby again to say that I would like him to do the job, and that I hoped he would be able to schedule the work before the winter weather set in, because the roof was presently leaking, and I was concerned about further damage if it was not repaired until the spring. Mr. Eby told be that my job would probably be his last of the season, but he assured me that it would be done. The job scheduled ahead of mine, took extra time and effort, but I was kept informed. The Eby crew shoveled and cleared the roof (AND driveway) of snow more than once, during some very windy, cold and blustery days......but the job was completed as promised. When the snow FINALLY melted this spring, I was able to see and closely inspect their work. It is beautiful, and I am very satisfied . I would definitely use this company again, , and highly recommend their services.

    A-1 Services
Not good. I called them to fix my roof, they worked on it, and now its worse then what it was. They checked the roof and said there is nothing wrong with it, they left nails popping out. I called other service providers to come and see the roof, they all said I need a new roof now.

    A-1 Services
The roof is now leaking into my garage. The shingles were not put on correctly. I've had 4 different contractors over in the past 4 days & all of them said this is was the worst job they have ever seen. The drip pads were not over lapping, some of them were not replaced, simply covered up. They state that they are licensed & certified however I don't believe that is true.

    Hogarth's Pest Control Co
Trevor spent a little more than two hours working at our home.  First he made a visual inspection of the property.  We discussed where the pests were getting into the home and what he was going to do to eliminate them and their entry points.  He was very knowledgable.  He explained what his company's focus was for us - eliminating the pests before they enter the home and not baiting inside the home.  He then worked on sealing gaps with caulk and mesh ($200). He then set 6 bait traps around the house and the garage along with some glue traps in the crawl space and bilko door. ($300).  He then sprayed the area for ants and bees ($275).  This might seem expensive, but my wife and I were very happy and satisfied with the work.

    Cardinal Painting
The finished basement walls, floors and furniture were well protected.  Cardinal Painting was very professional and respected our home and belongings.  The crew arrived exactly when promised and worked all day, each day until completely finished.  They did all the clean-up and left our home as if they were never there, except for the beautifully finished painted ceiling and bedroom.  Mark also offered to return at any time to do any touch ups if we wished.
