    Quality Lawncare Solutions
It went wonderful! I am so happy with my new flower beds and can't get over what a difference. I just love going outside and looking at the transformation. Would definitely hire them for other things I would like done in my yard.

Chris was not at the job sight.  The edging and stone work looked nice, but they did a bad job placing the plants.   This is hard to explain, but they were not lined up and it looked like sloppy work.  I called Chris, complained and then they fixed it.  Initially it looked nice but with the spring and summer rains, I noticed problems with the drainage.  The drainage tile (connnected to the gutter system) was placed too close to the house, on a hill, a few feet from the newly installed retaining wall.   The water would drain out of the tile, and the hill was starting to erode.  I called Chris and told him of the problem, he was very annoyed and at one point yelled at me.  Eventually, he sent his guys out and they added an extension to the drainage tile at the bottom of the hill, but still too close to the house.  It was causing problems.  I called him again, but got the same response.  I just gave up and fixed it myself.
A few years after he put the landscape in, it did not look as nice.  Plants died, the edging has been coming out of the ground.  When talking with other landscapers, I would have probably not chosen his design.  As mentioned, I looked to landscaper to help with designing something that would last, and his plan has not.
Landscaping is a hard job and I understand that things do not always go as planned.  But when I called Chris about the problems, the last thing I expected was to get yelled at about my concerns.

Had Nicholsons install system a year ago and they did a terrible job. Then charged me an arm and a leg to install correct plumbing. I now had an appointment to winterize and they did not show or call. I called them and they said they would check and have the guys call me. No call and no show. I honestly don't know how this company stays in business. Avoid if at all possible.

    Woodland Tree Service
Worth the wait, but wow, what a wait!
Woodland came out in mid-August, three weeks after I had requested a quote and called back to find out if they were ever coming. Once there, they provided a very thorough estimate which included a diagram of my yard and trees.  They mentioned that oak trees should be trimmed in the Fall or later and estimated they'd be out to do the work in mid October.
Mid October came and went without any work being done or anyone checking in to communicate a changing timeframe.  When I called, I was told that they were running behind for various reasons and would get back with me in a couple of weeks.  I waited a couple of weeks, called again and was informed that I was on the schedule for late November.
I was almost regretting my decision to hire them after these administrative hiccups and woeful lack of communication.
Alas, all was forgiven and my faith restored when they came in Novermber as they said they would and did a FANTASTIC job removing trees, gringing stumps and brush and even sweeping sawdust off my roof, decks and driveways.  They did a great job cleaning up my yard and the trees look awesome!
I will put them to work in the future without hesitation but with perhaps a little more lead time.

A little on the pricey side as are all specialty nurseries but I love everything about Ludema's! Atmosphere and selection is always great with more than just the basic annuals, perennials and garden supplies. They have gorgeous display gardens for public viewing during the growing season. They are open year round with seasonal potted plants and a fresh flowers. If you're into gardening Ludema's is a must see.

Both of our experiences with Weingartz were terrible. The tune up took 3 weeks to complete. Nobody seemed to know what was going on. One person would tell you it would be finished in a day and another would tell you a week. The second time, it took a full week for them to give us an estimate. They said they weren't busy and it would be done in a few days. When we called after 2 weeks, to check the status, we were told that they couldn't locate the paper work on the mower. The mower was finally returned, fixed, after 2 1/2 weeks.

    TruGreen Lawn Care - 5799
Overall the service is okay, but they call too much and try to add new services. We were told if we wanted continued service, we would not have to renew as they would just come. We missed our first two applications before we called and asked what was going on.
