    POOf! Dog Poop Pickup
The service went well. I hired them about a month ago to clean up my dogs waste. They have been scooping the poop for the past month and are doing a great job. Great service to have. I will recommend them

    MLS Tree Service
On July 10th, 2019 I called Jeff Doyle of MLS tree service in Plymouth, MI whose ad I saw in the local Clipper Magazine that comes in the mail. I explained to him that my pine trees appeared to by dying and he said he already knew what was wrong with them based on his experience. He told me he was the MLS Tree Service Arborist. I wanted to hire a professional to check on the health of my pine trees which appeared to be dying. He said he would have to charge me for the consultation but changed his mind during the initial conversation and said: I wont charge you for the consultation as he knew he was NOT qualified and is not a licensed Arborist according to the ISA (International Society of Arborists). He also referenced the nearby Roses Restaurant and the owner who is my neighbor and said he was their cousin (eliciting trust) and that he has been caring for their trees for years. Jeff Doyle arrived at my house on July 10th, 2019 and did NOT look at my trees, but said he got there earlier and already had a look around (tactic to NOT really look or explain the problems or how he would remedy them). Red Flag. He handed me 4 sheets of paper, the first being a typed client letter which had two stickers on it to elicit trust: A BBB Accredited sticker, & a self-made 25th Anniversary sticker dated 1982-2007. OLD stickerout of Date. The second sheet was for West Bend Insurance company (through True North Agency) for Commercial General Liability Coverage which I later noticed and called to find out was and is EXPIRED since 7/28/2012. Third was a handout for Amerisure Insurance for Workman's comp coverage through Larsons Ins. Solutions whose number rings busy & has also been found guilty of fraud and has a suspended license per MI DIFS (Department of Insurance and Financial Services). This policy was also EXPIRED since 4/9/2012. I was also informed by another local resident who has also been scammed by Jeff Doyle the he and MLS tree Service does NOT have a license to apply fertilizer & herbicides to correct tree problems according to MDARD (Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development). Jeff Doyle is not a certified commercial applicator so he cannot obtain a Pesticide Application Business License (PABL). Therefore, he could NOT treat my trees which are dying from some kind of pest & or disease infestation. In addition, I looked up his company on the Michigan Corporation Bureau and see that he last filed an annual report in 2015 for MLS Tree Service and the company is listed as dissolved as of 7/15/2016. The 35th district court records shows that he has had other small & civil claims against him. Then, looking further, I now see he has a lot of negative google and YELP reviews against his business practices. He even had a former employee rat him out saying he charges people hundreds of dollars and then he goes to Home Depot and buys a $13 dollar bag of Milorganite (a fertilizer) and applies that. Plenty of Red Flags I foolishly did not see in advance due to personal circumstances I was distracted by at the time including out of town company, needing to get to work, and being busy running a charitable clothing drive at work for Dress for Success Michigan in Ann Arbor. I wanted my trees to be healthy and unfortunately, I trusted a con man. While at my home, Jeff Doyle said he could easily treat the trees and bring them back to health by drilling holes in the ground all around all of my trees and putting some "special order materials" powder in the holes that would fertilize and treat for insects and disease. He claimed that the materials were very expensive, 80 % of the cost and that the labor cost was only 20%. Before he left, he flipped that comment and said the labor was the most expensive part and laughed at himself. My son-in-law was present during his pitch and I asked him if he felt that Jeff was legitimate and he thought he appeared to be based on what he said. My son-in-law is a retired military police and Jeff Doyle claimed that he was a retired Navy Pilot and said he is an active pilot and also currently works for the department of Justice.so they spoke a lot about military experiences, again eliciting trust. I then agreed to hire him at a cost of $1,150 to treat the trees with a two-year coverage guarantee, $875 was for the disease and insect treatment and $275 to fertilize. I allowed him to charge my Visa card for the entire amount as I wanted the healing to begin as soon as possible. I was very surprised when he called later that same day to say he would be at my home at 8:30 the next morning to apply said materials. I was feeling a bit skeptical at that point due to the fact that he said he had to special order the very expensive materials. I called him back and asked about it and he said he drove an hour away, to the downriver area of Wyandotte to BASF a chemical company. I highly doubt he can produce a receipt for said materials. I decided to wait for him to arrive to witness the application of these special products. Instead of arriving on time, 8:30 he called to say he would be late with no specified time of arrival. I had to leave to go to work. I wanted to be there to witness the application of these special pre-ordered expensive materials. As far as I know, he never came and I saw no evidence of any application of materials. Jeff Doyle claims the work was done when nobody was home to witness. Not once, but twice. I have no proof that he ever put any materials on or around my trees and my trees still look like they are dying and show evidence of insect and or disease/fungus infestation. I spoke to him about my dissatisfaction and he became very defensive. I asked for a full refund and he refused, therefore I have no choice but to dispute this in small claims court. To make matters worse, I still have to call a real arborist to consult and hopefully treat my trees to keep them alive.

    Serene Landscape Group
Daphney designed a plan that was pleasing to both my husband and me, not an easy task! She's very knowledgeable and good at putting, as she says, "the right plant in the right place." She personally trimmed my Dogwood, taking care to shape but not take off too much, as she knows how fond I am of that tree. Joe Miller and his team of Nate and Richard (and Troy on the last day) did an outstanding job of installing the retaining walls, making sure everything was straight and level, transplanting, and installing new plants. The entire team was pleasant and professional as well as being hard workers. They used a leaf blower to clean off the sidewalk when done for the day and never left a mess. In spite of Joe being a perfectionist, one of the capstones was just slightly out of alignment and, a week after the job was complete, he came back to fix it. We are impressed with this crew and pleased with the results. We'd definitely hire them again and have no hesitation in recommending Serene to others!

    Clean Cut Tree Experts Inc
I was really impressed with the work these guys did. They showed up at 8:45 and had 4 trees down by 9:15. All in, they were onsite 5 hours and cleaned everything up before they left. I had a few different quotes and Clean Cut was the cheapest. I highly recommend giving Clean Cut a chance!

    Collins Landscape Construction
Jason and his team did an outstanding job in getting my home ready to sell. I needed old edging removed, trench edging completed, weeds cleared, and fresh mulch laid. I also needed this done VERY quickly (in January) to stay on schedule with my listing. Jason and the team got it done extremely fast with absolutely no sacrifice on quality. He worked with me every step of the way and highly recommend Collins Landscape. Excellent customer service and excellent work!

    All Type Landscape Co
Tom and his work crew (4 people total) came with all of their equipment on Monday September 17 and completed brush removal (2 ponds) and vertical drain installation (1 pond) within the space of 2 day.s Tom is a highly skilled operator. He had the right size work force and the needed equipment (2 tractors, 1 w/bush hog, 1 w/backhoe; and 3 trucks with 3 flat bed trailers for equipment transport and 1 dump box for brush disposal to complete all work within 2 days. Most importantly he was able to complete this work ahead of heavy rains coming within a few days of job completion which would probably have prevented this work from being done during this season. For subs in need of detention pond work I would highly recommend All Type Landscaping.

Definitely worth the wait! Due to weather and perhaps other reasons, I had to wait about 10 months to have this work done. During that time, communication was sparse which made me worry if the project was ever going to be done. However, it did happen and I am extremely pleased with the results. In fact, more work was done than I even expected! The crew was very courtesy and the operations manager was responsive. Definitely will consider Garrett again when I ready to have my back patio repaired.

    Scenic Landscaping
We contacted Eric late Friday afternoon for some urgent help with our landscaping. Eric answered the call immediately and requested pictures to be text to him; he responded within 15 minutes of us texting the picture and called us with a quote and offered to come out the next day. He also recommended he replace a tree for us while he was out as we had a landscape dealer down the street he was able to work with and get the tree - which we gladly accepted. He even drew us up some new plans within a day for us to consider. Great service and terrific responsiveness. Thank you to Eric and his partner for their help!

    Sir Williams Gardens
Called to schedule an estimate for 06/16/2018. I provided the necessary information on my landscaping project. Measurements were taken, questions were asked and answered. Mr. Toll kept pressing me for a budget and suggested items that were not necessary (e.g. gutters being tied into the drain tiles; absolutely nothing to do with my project). I was told I would be given an estimate. Provided my email address to have the estimate sent. It is now 06/29/2018. No estimate in hand. I've moved on to another company.
