    Delivery was promised for 4-5 weeks. Arrived on time. Installers were polite but noticed they dragged mud onto interior rugs. One corner of the table was left loose but after calling back, Allstate sent someone over in a matter of days. Overall, very please with the product, installation, and service.

    It went great. They lady there was pretty nice and helped up buy it. They set up the delivery and it came within a day or two, not very long and they took the old ones back. The first dishwasher did not work and they replaced it right away.

    We moved from Toledo, Ohio to Canton, Michigan so we stopped into Big Georges in Ann Arbor to look at new appliances. We met Dave Hamill. Very nice guy. Not pushy, but eager to help. We were also shopping other stores. I emailed Dave the brands and model numbers we wanted. He was the first to respond and prices were the best. We came in and ordered them. He even told us about a manufacturer rebate that the other stores didn't mention. What I liked...when I called or emailed he responded quickly. We are "very" pleased with Big Georges and Dave Hamill. Oh what about delivery, you might ask! Two guys, I believe they Sherman & Harrison. Exceptionally polite and thoughtful. They measured "before" attempting to bring the appliances in. They were "very" careful not to touch the door jams or to scrape the appliances. Quite friendly as well. They were very organized and had the utmost teamwork I've seen in a long time. They didn't act like they were trying to rush out. When they moved our old washer & dryer from the basement I was concerned that they wouldn't fit. These guys are Pros. What a wonderful experience. Excellent prices, product line, and most of all a staff with excellent work ethic. Everybody I know is going hear this success story. Thanks guys.

    Did a great job!  My husband was happy and satisfied... except for the smell of smoke on the new material that appeared a few days later after we picked it up.  We are non-smokers, and the odor was distinctive so he used a disinfectant spray and it worked very well.
    If we need this service again, we'll ask the provider to avoid the kind of situation on our furniture.

    First of all, my husband were in the process of moving from the metro Detroit area to Northern Kentucky and had a 4 hour drive down south from the time the truck was loaded and our house cleaned out for the new buyer. After the initial scheduling, of which was a pleasant experience in the beginning. I began to get weary when it took me several tries to get a hold of the company after voice mails left when it came to the a day or 2 before and the day of the move. On the day of our move, the 2 movers were supposed to show up between 2 and 3pm. At 2:50pm, I received a phone call saying that the guys coming to load our truck were running behind but that they had not been heard from yet but I would get a call back shortly to verify their new arrival time. Now I understand that jobs before mine can hold up the arrival time but to not get a call until right before the end of my time window was a little ridiculous. After the initial phone call about the delayed arrival, it took them almost another 40 minutes to get back to me and by then it was already almost 4pm! At that point, I was told that it was going to be at least another hour before they were to arrive because they were coming from a job about an hour away which would make it almost 2 hours late post arrival time! Needless to say, I was upset and frustrated with the way things were being handled. During that last phone call, I was met with frustration again when the owner told me that there was 3 hour minimum charge even though that my family and I had already started loading the truck because we needed to get things started and the only compensation that was offered was to remove the piano fee of only $75 when the total of the loading itself was $260 without the piano! Once the 2 men arrived to help move the truck, they seemed nice and helpful but when they went to move my grandmother's antique piano, the way that it was put into the truck was not properly handled and reckless the way they treated the piano for being as old as it was. Throughout the time the men were there, one of them was heard talking very unprofessionally (cuss words and other derogatory comments made) to the other while near myself and my family members. One was also seen after the job was completed walking away and making a comment about "That's 'ALL' they gave us?" about the tip that was given, which I thought was fairly decent considering their 2 hour late arrival. They seemed to complete the job quickly and everything appeared to be properly covered with furniture blankets and secured when we closed the truck. However, when we got down to Kentucky and were having other movers unload the truck we had noticed that some of our furniture had been scratched and banged up in the move. I am aware that some things will shift in the truck during transit but these marks were not normal wear from being in the truck but more of the point that they were shoved into the truck too recklessly. As many frustrations that were met during this part of the move, I do not think I will  unfortunately be recommending this company to future friends for their moves.

    It turned out beautifully and people wonder where I got it. As they say, and quot;they don't make things like they used to,and quot; and I'm thrilled to be able to save something from my childhood. I'm getting ready to have them refinish several items that have seen better days so Yes, I'd recommend them.

    I notified them the moment we received it with my concerns. The first problem was that the color of the top of the table didn't coincide with the pedastool at all. They said it was the lighting, but it was not.

    They called coorporate, but I never received any communication back. The woman then finally contacted me and blamed the lighting again. I
    A refinisher came out to write a letter to the company, and he said that in 35 years of his experience in the industry, he confirmed that it was not lighting. Then we had pealing, which they blamed our house for being too dry. Then splitting occurred. Poor manufcaturing was the cause. I asked if they could refinish the table for me, but they will not return my calls.

    We had good esperiences in the past with the people in the store, and the staff was very friendly, but I was very disappointed with this experience.

    It went fabulously. Duncan came in fixed it up, pretty quickly, I believe, fixed a couple other spots on the piece at no additional cost and was done within an hour. Everything looks great!!! Duncan did such an incredible job we have him scheduled to come back and fix several other wood pieces we have in the house. We're so excited we found him. I would highly recommend anyone with wood grab him up while they can.

    I purchased a house and needed furniture to furnish the house. My wife and I purchased over $6,000 in furniture from Art Van. It took them over 5 months to get everything delivered and at that items were defective and it was a fight to get the items fixed. After about 10-15 visit from service reps, countless phone calls, and half a year we have everything in and of proper quality. This company does not know what customer service is. They only know how to sell.
