I cant say enough great things about Steve. This is the second time I have had Steve come out and both times he has gone above and beyond what he needed to. Quick response, very professional, personable, authentic and trustworthy. I wish more independent business owners were like Steve! Highly recommend.

    Advanced Safe & Lock
After receiving extremely poor service from another local locksmith, I contacted Advanced and left a message. Steve called back almost immediately. After I explained my issue, he offered to come right over even though it was past normal business hours. He arrived in about ten minutes, then was able to solve the issue promptly. I couldn't have asked for better service! Going forward, I would not consider using or recommending any other company!

Steve was great!  I would definitely use him again for any Locksmith work.  He responded to my call promptly, used time efficiently, and cleaned up the work area.  In addition, both locks now work smoothly and are installed properly. I found his prices to be competitive with those of the industry.  Great job!

    H20 Waterproofing
Project begun approximately March 1, 2015.   Project completed:  May 11, 2015.  WORST EXPERIENCE DEALING WITH A COMPANY EVER.   PLEASE SAVE YOUR SANITY AND HIRE SOMEONE (almost anyone) ELSE BUT THIS COMPANY!!
I have noticed many times on Angies List when I read the reviews that when there is a negative review, very often the owner(s) of the company will post some sort of bland, "happy sounding" "Oh, we try to please everyone, but YOU (the consumer) where just so . . . (fill in the blank, here) . . . crazy, cranky, unreasonable, whatever.    PLEASE don't let them get a way with that here.   I am kind, non-crazy, and was as reasonable and accommodating as a human being can be.
Where DIDN'T they screw up royally?    Let me count the ways:    By delivering carpet to my home without calling me ahead of time to mention that they WERE delivering carpet.   That's right.   No call.   The carpet guys in their van just showed up.   I was like:  "Hmmm. . . wonder who that is?  Since I know I don't have any appointments on calendar for today?"   WORST thing is that H20 had just finished painting the basement the day prior to the carpet delivery.    Several of the painters admonished me as they were leaving, stating:   "Make sure you give it AT LEAST three days to dry."
Overcharged for everything, to a huge extent.   I must have mention to them 8 or 9 times:  "Remove the part where it says:  "Crime Scene Cleanup" .   This was a flood.  Not a crime.   They never did remove it from the invoice.   ALSO, the company never cleaned up after themselves.    The drywall guy left a huge mess in my basement on the floor.   Drywall has to be sanded at some point.  Well, they left that sanding mess for me to clean up.   What a drag.  This was after I had politely asked them to be sure to have one of their workers bring in a shop vac to clean up the painting and drywall debris after the workers were finished.  Never happened.   They also left drop cloths taped to the floors and I had to remove them.
The drywall guy left a huge "bump" in the wall, and in took several months to get them to come back and repair the dyrwall correctly.   One of the principals of the company became so belligerent with me that I ended up feeling so threatened that I actually called the police.  Yep.   I had to have the police talk to the guy.   THEN they had their attorney call me.   This was at the end of April.   Listen, getting the attorney involved was the best thing that ever happened to me.   H20 finally had to finish the work correctly, show up on time after making an appointment with me, and provide me with a different drywall guy than the first guy who screwed up the job.   THIS COMPANY WAS TERRIBLE IN EVERY WAY YOU CAN IMAGINE.

    Advanced Safe & Lock
Steven was amazing. He came back to help me install the new locks I had bought from Home Depot. He went above in beyond just installing the locks, due to the previous owner not installing the old ones properly. He came out twice in the same day, with very little notice. Steven is extremely nice and professional. I will definitely be using him again, as well as recommending him to my friends. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

    Atlantic Coast Waterproofing Inc
On Thursday afternoon, I went down to the basement and noticed the carpet was wet in the far corner of the room.  I did not smell anything, just saw about a 10 foot area of the finished portion of the basement was wet.   Of course, I was horrified.  I called Gary's company.  He came out the next day and was so amazingly helpful, kind and supportive.   I had just moved to this home only about 3 months ago from out of state.  My husband is currently on the other side of the country and I don't really know anyone here.  I was feeling very scared and very alone with a BIG problem.  Gary stayed with me throughout the process and REALLY went above and beyond to help me.   He showed compassion and concern for my terrible problem.   Gary had to cut a hole in the drywall in order to see where the leak was coming from.   Well, that's when the fun really started.   Turns out the pipe leading out to the septic tank was cracked and there was literally raw sewage running down the wall underneath the pipe and onto the floor.   Gary recommended a septic company and even called the owner of the company, Ed Burgis, of King Septic Company for me.   So Gary took his own time and made several phone calls for me, because I did not know who to call or where to turn to begin to solve the problem.   Gary could see how stressed out I was about this situation and also that I was alone and without a clue as to who to call first.    I cannot tell you enough how thankful and appreciative I am of the kindness, professionalism and care that was shown to me throughout the process of trying to resolve this horrible, smelly leak.   He recommended and even personally called plumbers, the septic company, and a few other professionals.   He gave me wise recommendations that were truly helpful and practical.  He was also incredibly honest about the scope of his capabilities.    I highly recommend calling him if you have a water leakage problem.   Because if Gary cannot fix the problem, at least he will point you immediately in the direction you need to go and exactly what steps you need to take, and most importantly, what other service professionals you need to call next to get your problem solved FAST and correctly.  Thanks, Gary!

    Sun Glo Restorations

Sun Glo contracted the work out to a local painting and repair firm who, overall, did a great job. They were prompt, professional, and capable. The work took a couple of weeks and the workmen were very considerate of our needs since I work from a home office.

There did seem to be a communication problem between SunGlo and the contracted workers as to exactly what needed to be done. I was able to talk to them both and come up with decisions.

All went very well until the last day. The garage was the last room to repair and repaint. The ceiling replacement went well. But when it came time to move things out of the garage to paint, their primary workers were called to another job and left two inexperienced painters. The painting job was fine but they did not put back the items from the garage and they left our chest freezer unplugged.

SunGlo did compensate us for our lost food but did not comment on the poor service with the garage. All in all it was a good experience and I would recommend them in the future.

    1-800 Water Damage
We had a water line break in Jan 2014 which ran for 2 days before noticed.  It flooded my entire lower level of the house.  Water Damage after being called, were there almost before the plumber was finished with the repair.  They were there every day, showed up when they said the would and di a first class job of cleanup.  They explained the cleanup and restoration process and alerted me to the other agencies I would need.  I received very good advice from Fred which allowed me to make good decisions.

The always kept me informed and were extremely patient and sensitive to our dilemma and understanding of our needs.  Their efforts took the much of the hurt out of our predicament.  Though we hope and pray we won't have to, we would use them again.

Fred did a great job of figuring out what we needed.  We purchased the house and the previous owner took all the electroncis to run this older system.  It took some figuring out to get the right equipment that we needed (old technology) but Fred was able to get us a great sounding system and adjusted it for us.

    Advanced Safe & Lock
Advance Safe and Lock did an excellant job!  I called him around 1pm on March 3, 3014 and he was at my house two hours later.  He was very professional and personable and I would most definitely use him again.
