I use a place called Camp Bow Wow whenever I have to go out-of-town for work for my dog to kennel it. They kenneled our dog for a week and gave her a bath.

What I like by far the most was the fact that our dog got to go out. She did not spend majority of her time in a kennel. She actually was out majority of the day running around in the yard with other dogs. She got much more activity than a typical kennel so that is why I like Bow Wow to begin with. My interactions with them were very positive. They were responsive. Their facilities are very clean, relatively new within the last three or four years probably, and well set-up.

I wanted to find a place for boarding my 2 dogs, so if I had an event to go to they would be taken care of.

Very bad-I told them my 5 year old dog (Terrier Mix) did not like Poodles. So the dog they tried her with was a Poodle. She was terrified with that dog and they told me my dog was the one that's not social. After I explained to them she is social around the neighbors dogs and when we take her to the pet stores and to the metro-park. We never have a problem with her being aggressive. Then they took my 15 week puppy a Dalmatian Mix into the same pen as the Poodle was in. He was terrified and kept his distance and barked at him because he's now alone in a pen with a Big Poodle that's jumping on the girl with the camp. That's a behavior my dogs know better not to do is jump on people or other dogs. They tried to tell me the puppy is doing fine. I told them get him out of there now. My dogs were totally scared. These young girls didn't seem skilled enough on how to ahndle the situation very well. This was their free 3 hour session they offer. I wasn't even there 45 minutes

I use Camp Bow Wow for dog sitting. We use them a couple of times a year.

They have a wide range of times when I can drop them off and pick them up. They are convenient and reliable. I will continue to use them.

We love our dogs and they are a part of our family. Cheryl and Paul have always shown love and care for them as if they were their own. Our first dog we placed in their care was an 11# 'special needs' miniature Australian Sheperd. He had to be carefully handled even though he didn't think so. Paul would often put this little guy full of personality on his lap at the front desk because sometimes he'd need to be close to him in the room nearby reserved usually for puppies and the elderly. We so totally trusted that Foster was in great care at this 'camp' for the 2 yrs. he went. We now have Ernie, a 7 yr old Corgi/Golden mix who's been going to camp for 2 years. He was shy at first but the counselors helped him become more comfortable with the attention they gave him when he would isolate himself at the beginning. I witnessed this on the web viewing myself. The entire staff has always been so professional and personal at the same time. Flexibility is another asset they have. We travel through DTW and live 30 miles west of CBW so the convenience for us is huge both ways. one of our daughters is a veterinarian who recommended us trying this franchise. We love THIS Camp Bow Wow for loving and caring for our dogs as their own. Noel Eve and Dave Closs
