    We purchased a new wall oven.  We needed them to remove the old appliance and install the new one.  The guys were great, right on time, very punctual and polite.  The Service Manager even tried to talk me out of them doing it, letting me know I could probably handle it with the help of someone for lifting.  I appreciate the honesty and professionalism.  We will definitely use them again.

    Just want people to be aware of SAGINAW VALLEY SERVICE CO, INC. They do not guarantee their work and will not stand behind the work they do. And this is a company that MAYTAG uses on a regular basis! MAYTAG as well does not seem to stand behind their dishwasher's. Hindsight is always twenty twenty in a purchase, but I would never recommend a MAYTAG product purely because of the service that is provided!

    This a case of a local shop being purchased by a big guy some10 yrs ago.  As time goes on we feel less and less valued as a long time customer.  We use them for many of our repair issues and are satisfied with their work.  An example of DISSATISFACTION came recently when our year old water heater failed and was replaced under warranty.  The initial cost was $1467.00.  A year and a half later, we were hit with another $400.00 "labor charge" to replace it AND the warranty was not reset to new---with the new unit!! We have great faith in the integrity of several of our favorite service guys and request them when we call for service.  But as we told our guy "Tim" yesterday, if he goes, we'll most likely be right behind him!  That said---the office help is unfailingly polite and pleasant, they call to gauge our satisfaction with the visit and they seem sincere.  Honestly, if we switch to someone new it could be better---BUT--it could be the same or worse!  Maybe I'm dreaming to expect personal consideration regarding ALL the work and $$$ I've directed their way.

    I had used Brighton Service Network in the past for a repair to the same machine, different problem.  Given the age of the machine we were somewhat concerned at what point do you replace it.  My Wife loves this machine, it does a great job and she was worried that the newer high efficiency machines wouldn't perform as well. 
    When the Service Technician came out he diagnosed the problem quickly.  It was a failed internal hose under the machine. When I questioned him about should we consider replacing the machine he said that this was a great machine that had yet a long life ahead, and that the service life of many new machines would be far less.  He suggested while he was there that we might consider replacing the pump since it was the original and would eventually break down.  I decided that was a good idea to be proactive. The machine is working like a champ.

    Contacted Mr Appliance by phone and set up appointment.  They explained how their services worked.  There was a $75.00 diagnostic fee that would be applied to repairs if we decided to have the work done after they gave us an estimate.  They were very professional on the phone.   They are available on saturday at no extra charge.  The office called before the technician arrived.  The technician was very
    professional on both visits.  The first visit to diagnose the problem and give us an estimate.  The second visit to install the new part. Everything went very smoothly and I would definitely use them again.

    Had a tech named Tyler come out to inspect our furnace. Tyler was very polite and had thoroughly checked the furnace (pressure test, etc.) to see if the furnace could be repaired. Tyler's recommendation was to replace the furnace. Had us phone Brighton Appliance for a price. The only negative I could think of was that Tyler did not know how to provide us with a "temporary" solution for getting heat in the house as we had our furnace go down on the coldest day(s) thus far this year. In that Brighton Appliance could not come out in a timely fashion, we phone another HVAC company in the area that did come out, priced us on a new furnace but, provided a solution to gain heat to satisfy us, our dogs and the piping within by just keeping the "FAN" going and not use the automatic. We were comforted throughout the night with heat and the furnace went in the next morning with great satisfaction.
