    I was very happy with my experience overall. The only hiccup was with the finishing work (drill holes left uncovered, debris left around job site, door wasn't properly aligned so the lock didn't work). When I communicated this to them, they were very responsive and the Owner came out the next day to make it right.

    We've been using this company to open/close the pool and for weekly pool maintenance for two years.  Most of their staff are honest, hardworking folks. The problem is with management and the owner. The basic weekly pool maintenance was fine. But when it comes to opening and closing the pool, or anything needing specific, clear communication, we were left speechless. 
    It started last year when we were told we needed a new pool pump. We discussed the cost, etc, and my husband and I decided we should invest in a new pump. I was also, personally, investigating the option of turning the pool over to salt water from chlorine. 
    I returned home one day, (last summer) to find the old pump sitting on the driveway, and a brand new pump had been installed.
    No phone call, no conversation, no discussion. Just a new pump and a bill. WHAT?! This was the beginning of the summer season.
    Knowing the difficulty of finding a solid pool service company for our short Michigan summer, I hesitated to give these guys a pink slip at this stage of the summer. My husband negotiated a fair price for the pump. The owner determined this to be a "communication error". 
     
    Pool Closing same season; the pool light was burned out so we asked the bulb be changed when the pool was closed. The owner wanted to hire a diver in a wetsuit. Our pool is just 6' at the deep end and is drained to about 4' at closing. Leaning over the side to change the bulb or standing in the deep end in waders would be an option. Either way, the pool was closed with the old bulb removed and left empty. They "forgot" to bring a new bulb with them. This was another "communication error".

    The professionals at American Pool do a great job with our pool closings. Each spring, when we open the pool, the water looks clean and clear. This is a big change from the company we used to use!

    They are very technically good.  They know what they are doing.  They added parts that were missing at no charge.  They don't always get there when they say they are going to get there.

    Mike returned call promptly,  and came when he said he would.  He diagnosed the issue quickly and fixed the problem.

    He also gave additional tips and advice on the spa.   Very satisfied with service.  I am confident if there was a bigger issue he would be honest and fair about the repair.

    Everything we agreed, contracted for AND PAID for was done BUT a subcontractor was utilized for the actual resurfacing, which was never discussed, and someone named "Junior" put the WRONG SURFACE on my pool. The work was of good quality, I hope and believe, but the fact remains, I have the wrong pool surface, not the one which was supposed to be placed. The owner of Paradise was a true gentleman, Roy, and worked with me to come to an agreement about what had happened. Still, I would have some reservations about the failure to supervise and monitor the subcontractors used by Paradise.

    It has been a year since this contractor replaced my deck I have made several calls to the contractor for repairs that needed to be accomplished with no return calls would never use this contractor again.

    Fantastic!  Absolutely worth every single penny.  I have already referred this service to 2 friends. We bought a large playset from  Costco and everything I read said it would take 2 men, 2 full days to assemble.  He had it done in 2 afternoons by himself.  It is even dug into the ground and leveled.  Super super safe!  GREAT JOB, so glad I called!!

    Joe was very knowledgeable and responsive to all our questions and concerns. He was very professional and has a lot of experience and fully explains the process (step-by-step). He was able to conform to our tight schedule as we were in process of getting new brick pavers around our pool deck. Again, he was able coordinate everything seamlessly with no disruption. We highly recommend Sparkle Pools.

    I called this company to get an assessment on the condition of the pool at a house we moved into. The woman on the phone was very nice, and said someone would come out to take a look within two days. We took the lock off the pool gate and waited to hear something After waiting for 2 weeks, I called back to see if they had been able to take a look at the pool. The woman was again very nice but didn't seem to have any information; I waited on hold while she contacted the pool maintenance person who had looked at the pool. She then told me that he said that they were too busy to do anything with our pool this whole season as it needed the equipment, etc, but we could make an appointment in August to discuss how much it would cost to get it in use for next year. I don't fault them for being to busy to service our pool; I am irritated that I had to be the one to follow up only to be told they couldn't even give me an estimate. If I had known that two weeks ago, I would have already contacted another company and wouldn't be another two weeks behind getting the pool functional.
