  • It was a great easy experience. Dana, the designer looked at our old closets and designed great closets that fit all of our needs. Installation was quick and clean - these guys really knew what they were doing. The closet pieces were cut exactly to the specifications. Overall we have a beautiful, professional, space saving closet system. We love it!

  • Scottt and team did a great job. We are very impress with our basement. Scott understood our budget constraint and help tailored the project based on our needs. He is very honest and open and explained to us every step of the way. His team was also great at time management. We will certainly be using Scott again for future projects.

  • I have chosen to contract with Gary a few times before. He created a large walk-in closet space basically out of nothing and did a stellar job with that, which is why I felt comfortable working with him on this. Gary was able to discuss our basic plan over the phone a few days prior to working, understanding the layout I would like. On day of, he and I went to seek the supplies needed, which helped to do it together. In that, he was informative without pushing an agenda, After providing the supplies, he and his assistant began their work and I went on to mine. I came back and they were still hard at work, and within the one day, they completed the job (which in previous experience with other contractors would have stretched out to three days). The final product was awesome, a model of professional and artistic craftsmanship, the quality akin to the "west coast" closets one aspires to. Gary is efficient and thorough and his work has clean lines and finish. The final result is cleaned up well, vacuumed out and I was already hanging up my clothes by the time he walked out the door. Gary's price is VERY reasonable and accommodating, and quality superb.

  • They came to my house and were very punctual.  They designed/quoted two
closets for my home.  We agreed on an install date/price and they took a
deposit.  They told me it was a two week lead time.  I agreed.  A week
into the project, they sent me an email saying that they were extending
it by two more weeks (now a total of 4).  They didn't have plain white
closet material in stock. They said they need to order it from Canada
and that Canada was shut down for a week. Keep in mind, white is the
most basic color. Nothing in my home was a custom color- just white.
Then when I questioned what happened, they moved the date out another 4
days beyond the extended two weeks.  When I tried to get them to commit
to a date, they decided to return my deposit.  The bottom line, they
were all attentive once they got the deposit.  Once they got the deposit
and the order, they were going to change the agreement and deliver
whenever they wanted.  Very unprofessional. I  would caution anyone who
would get involved with them. I have yet to get my deposit back.

  • This is the second job I have hired Closet Man for.   I have a large "dead space" area behind the master bedroom door.  Mark custom built a cabinet that hangs from the wall to hold shoes, boots, handbags, accessories, etc. The unit included shelves and a deep drawer.
Closet Man (Mark) recommended hanging the unit on the wall, off the carpet.  This allows for future replacement of carpet without removing the storage unit.
Mark is able to assess the area, make recommendations based on storage needs.  Workmanship is excellent and he attends to every detail.
I will use Closet Man again in the near future to rip out an existing floor to ceiling linen closet and replace with custom shelving and drawers.
Pricing is highly competitive and I prefer supporting small business owners.  Service and workmanship superior to the big box closet companies.  The owner is the installer, he does not sub-contract.

  • From beginning to end and beyond the install was a nightmare with broken promises, lies, shoddy workmanship, and poor quality. It took over 6 weeks for them to "complete" what Cathi told me would be a one day job. She measures your space and then farms the construction out to a fabrication company . She has no intention to return- except to collect the check. The install was supposed to have been started and completed on June 26th. On June  25th at 3:50 PM I get a TEXT saying that the materials are backordered and they're rescheduling the job for July 3rd. It took several visits for them to "complete" the install. The fabricators were habitually late and disrespected my house. They left my closet dirty and full of sawdust; tracked dirt and sawdust through my master suite- and never once cleaned up- even after they declared themselves done. The finished product? Units with misaligned shelves, slanted tops, differing heights, glue resin smears, drawers not closing, Sharpie scribbles, pencil marks, missing locks, sawdust in the drawers. I called Cathi and she was apologetic- but a true professional would have been there at the install, inspecting everything with a fine tooth comb- being more anal than the homeowner. She had the fabricators return They tried to blame things on my walls not being perfect, but when my husband complained to them, magically they were able to adjust it out. Afterwards I had to call back to correct more errors- such as misaligned shelving peg holes, double drilled holes (which they tried to hide under the extra closet rod caps they so kindly left me. I've had to use Acetone to remove thick glue resin smears. Daily life with the closet is a constant discovery process of bad workmanship that they tried to hide by shelf placement and closet rods. Cathi has completely ignored my last two attempts to contact her: A few weeks ago when I found another set of double drilled holes and misaligned shelves; and last night when putting away some shoes on a high shelf, I was almost hit by a the top of a unit which should have been bolted down. This has truly been a nightmare. She is not cheap. I would have gladly paid double to get a quality job. And that will be the case as I have to replace the whole thing.

  • I highly recommend Closet Man for your closet needs. I will reach out to him when I am ready to have additional work done.
I have a mid-50's ranch with a shallow reach in closet. I was not sure if the closet would accomodate drawers in addition to shelving and hanging needs. Mark (Closet Man), did an excellent job measuring, and custom fitting all components for the closet organizer. Quality and workmanship is excellent.
There were extra steps that needed to occur to complete this project, including removing the existing closet hanging system, patching, painting as well as removing other closet components in a second bedroom. It's a long story- but a happy ending.
Mark's attention to detail showcases a beautiful closet- I may not put closet doors back up. It looks great.
Mark was also kind enough to replace a light fixture in the hall way. (Thank you!)
Before you pay the and quot;Big Boxand quot; companies for all of their overhead, recommend you get a quote from Mark at Closet Man. Very Competitive pricing. I like dealing with the owner/installer at a single level. The larger closet companies send one person to design, another to measure, someone else to install. Mark did it all start to finish.

  • Kate, our designer, was wonderful and amazing to work with.  All the drawings were done on the day of the consultation and priced out with all color options and extras.  She was very educated on the processes and made helpful suggestions to my original ideas.  We couldn't be more pleased.  Bob, the installer, was quick, efficient and completed the job flawlessly.

  • John was a pleasure to work with throughout this expensive project. He listened well and executed all the plans beautifully. He is a perfectionist and it shows in his work here. Everything new in the interior and exterior blends so well that it is not at all obvious that the addition was built. John was a gentleman at all times, was very adaptable, and eager to please us. The people he brought in to work on the project were also very pleasant, polite and talented. John was extremely responsive to our requests, whatever we wanted him to do, he worked hard to make it happen. John was on the site everyday. He was always available and returned our phone calls within minutes. His follow through was 100%. He always gave us good advice about how to solve problems that came up and was conscience of what we wanted. We are 100% satisfied.
