  Called because of plugged toilet. Someone was scheduled the same day. A quote was given of ~500 which seemed a bit pricey to me but I accepted reluctantly.  It turned out to be a bit more than either myself or the tech thought which involved a camera and snake in the pipes. I later found out thathe thought it would have been a real quick fix (this was the $500 original estimate). Tech spebt several hours at the house but a lot of that time was to prepare another exorbitant estimate.
  Although professional and well spoken, the tech had minimal (apprentice level) experience. After the service call had ended i got a package that had a 10% "coupon" that i could refer my neighbors and get a check for 10% of the total job of whatever service cost to them. Honestly Id rather just save that extra 10%
  Overall it was a decent experience just quite expensive. I would say they do the job correctly. Im having more plumbing work done, but using a different contractor.

  Jim Gardner

  Jim is a nice guy, and his services a pretty good value. I would definitely work with him again if I were strapped for cash and I didn't value my time very much.
  Jim came over promptly the very same day I emailed him asking if he could give me a quote on replacing a couple of spigots. Then he took ~2 weeks to email me with a quote, which was simply his hourly rate. We scheduled a date for him to perform the work on a weekday at noon; he was an hour late, which was inconvenient, but not a huge deal. He replaced the spigots, and the work looked good. However, about a week later, I noticed one of the spigots was leaking into the basement at the point where Jim had hooked it up to the pipe in the basement ceiling. Jim came back to look at it, and he insisted that nothing he did would have caused the leak. He then went on to say that he really doesn't prefer to do plumbing (that would have been helpful to know before I asked him to do this job). Despite his defensiveness, to Jim's credit, he did call a plumber friend of his to come repair the leak at no charge to us (P.S. The plumber said that Jim was definitely responsible for the leak).
  I wanted to give Jim the benefit of the doubt because he is a nice guy, and because he's a great deal, so I asked him to come back to take care of some old wiring in the basement ceiling (I figured I'd try a non-plumbing job). We agreed to meet on a weekday at 1 o'clock. Of course I took off work to meet him here at the house, and he was a no-show. When I called him to ask if we were still on, he apologized and said he got caught up at another job and forgot about our appointment. That's when I decided to call it quits on him. He's just a little too unprofessional for me to want to work with him on a consistent basis.

  I contacted Tyler when I found I had no hot water and a slight water leak. He asked for the information on the age, make and model of my hot water heater. He contacted the company and checked warranty, etc; ordered the replacement; came to the house and installed the water heater. Very professional, cleaned up after himself and did the work timely.

  He came out right away to check it to see what he would need, and what materials he would need. He came out on a Sunday to do the repair. I thought the service was very good! He also did work for my daughter that turned out very well! He was instrumental in getting our problems fixed!

  The carpets looked really good when they left. He took longer than he said he was going to, but he said that there was a lot of residue which took him so long. He was friendly. He was a little bit, but he called me and informed. The guy was on the phone the entire time he was here which was the only thing that bothered me. He was talking calls, making calls and chit chatting with friends or family the entire time he did the work. He wasn't stopping; he was working the whole time. He did a really good job. I didn't think that it was really professional. The price was fair. They came when we needed them.

  The tub and shower are on outside walls. Worker removed all plaster and insulation before installing the tub and shower. His experience it turned out, was with new construction. The electrician did not measure for the fan/light installation in the ceiling. Made an oversize hole in a decorative swirled plaster ceiling. Within two weeks of the start of the job, my basement was flooded. It took three phone calls and eight hours for the problem to get resolved. The electrician was in the attic and dropped a tool that went through the ceiling, knocking down dry wall and insulation. He made no attempt to make any repair of do any clean up. Their employee made a 5 1/2 inch cut into a 9 inch floor joist that already had a cut at the other end. A structural engineer had to be consulted to correct the problem. The first time the bathtub was used, there were four leaks in the plumbing in the basement. I would not trust this company to change the water in my dog's dish.
