    B & B Builders
They were always on time and willing to explain what they were doing and going to do next. Crew was always very professional and courteous. Cleaned up and picked up every day before they left job site. Very satisfied with job. I told Marty that if my wife is happy it was a success. She is very happy. It took a little longer to get a bid from them but well worth the wait. B & B was several thousand dollars less than closes bid. 10 year warranty

They arrived in the afternoon 9-25-17. They talked to my husband & me. Told us the job would take about 1.5 hours. Crew friendly and answered our questions. Price reasonable. They did the job in a little over 1 1/2 hours. They told us any problems call the office.

    HICKMOTT'S HOME REPAIR
Mark's crew did a fantastic job with our roof. I actually called several roofing companies to get a quote and he was one of the first to respond to my inquiry. He wasn't the lowest price, but I could tell from talking with him, that he knew what he was doing. He gave us two quotes, a high and low end. The roof he replaced was in such neglect from previous owners that we ended up in the high price range. It took his crew a week and they were able to perfectly match the roof to our house. They cleaned up after themselves. I can speak to his professionalism. The shingle delivery truck actually damaged our fence, and he immediately called us and replaced it without charge. We were so pleased that we have hired him to remodel our kitchen this summer.

They were wonderful. Marty, the owner is careful and meticulous with the details, and you could hardly ask for a nicer bunch of guys to do the work. They cleaned up every day as they went and the yard was totally clear of debris when they were finished. The crew don't normally work with gutter guard and weren't familiar with this kind, so there were some glitches with the installation. Marty never hesitated to return and make sure the problems were fixed, even though he and his workers had to travel from Midland to Bay City to do it. In short, he stands behind his work. And the roof looks great. I'm very pleased.

Excellent!   Five man crew for relatively small job - and each one had his particular job to do - did it efficiently, in timely manner, and professionally. Cleaned up worksite afterwards - and were friendly!

    (1) Showed estimator an area of concern (may be rotting wood under roof. He assured me that if that was the case, they could take care of it. (2) Work performed, had to replace a 3’x piece of rotten wood. (Addtn’l cost) When looking at new gutters afterward – noticed bare wood showing under roof. They said I could paint it! I am 60, f, & disabled I would have appreciated knowing that it would have looked better w / fascia & would have had that done at the time.

Well they called a couple days before coming and said they will be here sometime between 8-10 the 27th. Didn't get here until 4-4:30ish we were on the list for that day I found out when I called them to see if they were still coming or not. Well things went good until they came to the covered patio out back then they said they have to put a downspout on each side of the patio and that will cost us $45 per downspout more than our bid. Well then it came to the front of the house not thinking anything about it heard them out there working and whatnot went out when we seen them putting stuff away and I was never so disappointed as when I seen a downspout right out our front door and into our grass the drain goes. So we have to unhook every time we mow and it did a awful number to the looks of our house I just hate it. What makes it worst is the front of our house is a varigated tan color and the downspouts are white. I kept telling him I don't like it!! He didn't listen, so I called the company in the morning and spoke with some guy can't remember his name he said he would get back with us he had to look up the paperwork. This is June 2nd. and have not heard from them since. Well I had a check made out for the bid amount before they got here because I have essential tremors and it is hard for me to write so did it before hand as we like to pay our bills on time and immediately. So he redid the job receipt and it came to 1759 now. 115.00 more than we were told it would cost. We are on a fixed income and we are trying to get this house fixed up that has been let go for sometime. We are squeezing day to day just to get things done. After a winter of it costing us $700.00 a month to heat and they come and and want more than we agreed on the first time. Well we were hoping to put siding up before this winter if our others projects allow and was thinking of them doing it but not now because never know what the final price will be. Why do a estimate if they can't give you the right price in the beginning. I can see if it was a hiden project but this was out in the open. We will not do business with them again. But if you do please be aware of their ways of getting more for the job. As far as the work they preformed it was good but really need to get the estimator and workers on the same page!!

    D&W Windows and Sunrooms
Salesman was very professional. I received 3 quotes and D&W had the best price and claimed the shortest wait time. He pointed out that they are very professional, use tethers on a roof as steep as mine (which added to the cost) and would keep the site clean. He did a good job of explaining the process and what types of materials they were going to use - shingles, underlayment, drip edge, vents, etc.
When I made the deposit, I was told the wait time was 2-3 weeks and the job would likely be completed in 1 day but may take 2. They brought the dumpster out 5 weeks later and were to start the following day. Weather was not the best, but it took them another week to start and did not finish for 6 days after that. This is fall in Michigan and I understand weather dealys, but the weather was fine between the time I paid the deposit up until 5 weeks later. If they would have kept close to the original time line I am sure the work would have been done in 1 or 2 days as suggested and I would not have had a dumpster blocking my driveway for 2 weeks.
Also, was told how great they are at keeping the jobsite clean, but during the process there were old shingles and dripedge all over the lawn, sidewalk and porch. After they left I picked up several (more than 12) nails from my driveway and also some from my neighbor's driveway. I also picked up shingles, pieces of metal, flashing, and other debris from my other neighbor's driveway. My yard, porch and flower beds also had alot of nails and debris in them - along with some sections of gutter-guards they knocked down and left at the foundation.
As far as the roof goes, I am sure it is installed fine and will not leak, but a few shingles on the ridge cap are sticking up and I am nervous the wind will tear them off. And there is a spot where the step flashing is showing alot where it wasn't before but I am sure that is cosmetic only.
If this is graded pass-fail, I would have to pass them. The only real problem with the delay was losing access to the driveway and garage for a week, but it was easy enough to work around. I am dissappointed in the mess both during and after the job, especially after being told how great they were in this area. I can put the gutter guards back up and I am sure ridge cap and step flashing are not major issues.

    MADZIAR ROOFING CO
They did a wonderful job! They were prompt to arrive on the job and councious of items in the yard and flower beds, not to disturb or wreck anything. All of the crew were friendly and acted in a professional manner. At the end of each work day, they cleaned everything up and you wouldn't have known that they were there. The owner Don Madziar, is just a great person to work with. He has a great demeanor, is honest and straight forward, and goes above and beyond to do a great job. He sees that things are done in a way that he would expect in return. Absolulty fantastic roofing company!

That was fine.  They made it a little bit too long and he was going to go up and fix it as he was working and my husband said leave it and its fine and I could have killed them but they didn’t want to leave like that because they said they want to do a good job.  We lived here since 2001 and we had seamless put in 2001 and my friend was getting a new one and I wanted aluminum because it doesn’t rust and I guess we have stainless steel one and that one has been excellent.  I don’t remember how much they charged and it wasn’t a lot.  They were just very professional and very cordial and my husband really liked them.  They came out, fixed it and left.  It is still hanging up pretty good.  They were very good.
