  Could not have gone better. Shawn is not only one of the best but he is honest, forthright and an absolute pleasure to work with. In addition he offered great ideas that were thoughtfully executed and always happy and upbeat. He is a talented woodworker, is fairly priced and perhaps in my 34 years of renovating over 50 vintage houses in Seattle, WA and Palm Springs, CA, is one of my favorites. He's the kind of guy you not only trust with your key, but the kind of guy you'd enjoy having a beer with as well. When he completed most of the work, we were kind of sad not to have him around for the next couple of weeks. A+++++ all the way around.

  Jim and the guys were amazing. They were on-time every day, courteous while there, and cleaned up every day when they left. The job was finished a day ahead of schedule even with a couple of wrenches thrown in the way. Things turned out amazing in the end and we couldn't be happier. Highly recommend.

  This project went extremely well. Installation was 1st class, clean up was done each day, workers were courteous, and very capable. Arrived each day promptly and worked continuously until project was finished. This work was estimated to take 3 weeks and was completed 4 days early. The estimate was provided quickly and revisions and questions were answered promptly. We would confidently recommend this contractor to anyone needed work done.

  As a female who was feeling very nervous about taking on this kind of a project, James made it very easy. It did take a while from the time we signed the commitment to the start of the project, but I was aware of that. James kept me posted with an earlier start date (was able to begin a week earlier than planned) and even finished earlier than expected. Throughout the process, he worked through lunch, never noticed him taking breaks and stayed late as needed to completed the tasks for that day. I was very surprised at how they did their best to clean up after themselves each day, even with a little mess in the basement, just beneath the one bathroom. James not only listened to me with what my wishes were, but he remained patient in explaining things to me. My project did go over budget, but that was on me with the materials I chose. Having been through previous DIY projects in the past, I was completely satisfied with James' attention to detail, as he seemed to take great pride in his work. Finally, I had one minor issue with a running toilet and James was very prompt not only with getting back to me, but coming back to fix it.

  July's Construction

  The kitchen remodel was very professional in every aspect. We are very happy with the service and quality of work Tim and his crew�� preformed on our kitchen. Beyond just the professionalism of Tim and crew's work, the passion and pride they put into their work shows. We definitely recommend them to anyone looking to have their kitchen or bathroom remodeled. A summary of work preformed on our kitchen includes, tearing out old cabinets and appliances, putting in new cabinets, putting in new electrical outlets, putting in gas lines, putting in new counter top's and putting in a new tile back splash. Originally before they started their work our kitchen had the original late 1950-early 1960's pilot light counter top stove and a separate built in oven. Thank you Tim,Tyler and everyone else for remolding our kitchen.

  MIKE'S CUSTOM TILE CO

  Mike's Custom Tile installed our tile in our whole house when we built it in 1992. When we installed new granite counters last year we wanted a new backsplash too. They were very busy with commercial installations now but told us they don't forget those who helped them when they were first starting. They were very prompt, efficient , and respectful of our home. They did an excellent job and when they left my kitchen had been cleaned including the floor. I would heartily recommend Mike's Custom Tile to anyone.

  Bathroom looks wonderful. My husband and I love it. John was quick in getting us an estimate. We paid a little more than the original estimate but we were not surprised by that. I had picked out a hand painted tile for the boarder that was a little pricey. So our final price for this project was a little higher than he figured in. It also took a few weeks to come in, which slowed the project down by a few days. This was no fault of Johns. It was worth waiting for as it looks great.
  John kept in contact with us as the project evolved and followed through with everything he said he was going to do. We would highly recommend him to our friends.

  J & J Contracting of Saginaw Inc

  I hired this guy even though he was very rough around the edges and swore frequently in front of my children during our first meeting.  I though because I work allot from home I would be close to catch anything and his price was very reasonable so I thought.  He asked for a large lump sum from the bank just to get started and was very up[set when the bank's policy was to pay for work completed.  Our Second big mistake besides hiring him was to put our own money up front to get him started.  His work was shabby he was hardly there except for a couple workers that even he said were criminals.  He fired three different crews and had to call the police to escort some away.  I was in so deep I felt the only thing I could do is do allot of the work myself to keep the project going.  we ended up with water damage from busted pipes when we turned the water on, unfinished work, and a pile of extra bills from him and other contractors he hired to do work.  They all somehow equalled all the money we put out of our pocket so he wouldn't have to reimburse us like he originally told us.  When I called the state to complain I found out he wasn't licensed and insured as he advertised.  He used a buddies license to show the bank and pull the permits.  That guy in now in jail for shooting another buddy with a shotgun!  This is the story in a nutshell.  I would stay away as far as possible!

  The owner is John Turek and he did a wonderful job. He got the tile from a renowned place where they have got some really beautiful tile. He is very good. He gave us some ideas on how to put the tiling down that we didn't think about, and we are glad that we followed his advice. It looks better than just putting it down the standard way.
