    They responded to my request promptly with interest in job, then followed up with a very reasonable proposal which I accepted. I gave them 3 options for performing work. (all this via email.) They showed up on time for one of them. Professional, efficient. I only asked for the back gutters, but they noticed debris in some others so cleaned those also at no extra charge. Cleaned up well afterward. Then followed up with a thank you.

    Birds Beware Window Cleaning
    Birds beware came out to quote me on powerwashing my home and we agreed on their most expensive package the luxury package. Normally $499 but I did not need the interior windows and tracks done so we agreed on $424. About double the price most other powerwashing companies charge for work I needed done but these guys had pretty good reviews and the salesman was impressive and I felt like I would get a better then average job done on this home we just bought. Unfortunitely I feel we only got average for what would of been double the cost. Birds beware came out sept 8 to do the job. Came out on time, looked professional and freindly. Started their work and the house started looking good. Took em about 2.5 hrs or so and I went out to inspect. Upon inspection I noticed the normal black streaks on the gutters still (I paid for gutter whitening mind you) worries so I asked the worker if thats as good as it will get...he said yes because the streaks are etched (oxidized on)...I said ok not impressed as I know thats not the case. I then talked to the 2nd worker (forget names) and told him I paid specifically to remove that black buildup and know it can come off. He said yes it would come off after I told him what his partner said. But they did not have the product on the truck due to they cant carry it on truck all the time cuz its a fire hazard. I asked why they wluldnt bring it knowing I paid for the luxury package n they would need it. I then went back to the side of the house where they were finishing up and the underside white trim flashing still looked really dirty so I mentioned that nicely as they agreed to. I then went to front of house to inspect the rest n found the front to b the same but not as bad. I went back to the back where they were trying to clean it on top of ladder with paper towel n bottle cleaner. The whole side needed done not just a few spots. Its like they didnt want to be bothered to redue the poor job done they did the first time, i told them they probably should redue it cuz it needs it n they agreed. After I also showed them the front they said they wld have to come out in a week or two to bring the proper gutter cleaner n redue the trim. I agreed. I then got a call to confirm the following wed at 330pm so id be home to watch n make sure it got done properly. Instead they came early no phone call notice and hit the gutters (only two gutters on one side of the house is all I have). I came home n seen the water n went and inspected the trim flashing and they didnt even touch any of it. Plus the gutters looked alot better but still can see along the underneath black n some light streaks still. Ive done this kind of job before and with proper scrubbing it could of turned out much better if attention to detail had been used n not a rush job. I shouldnt at $424 had to tell these guys how to do their job. I was super polite about it and didnt even micro manage ju s t mentioned nicely these things. I called n complained n the manager talked to the owners n let them know I wasnt happy. After them offering to come out a third time with diffrent crew and fix it I declined as it shouldn't take 3 tries to do a simple job. My home was not a disaster to begin with just needed a good cleaning.i told them I would pay $250 and thats it and they obliged. Overall the house looks better then it did much better in fact just the monotony of it all as well as the lack of attention and a possible third time coming to do the job as well as the crew not really looking to do anymore work then normal to a basic wash on a house even though I was paying top dollar is unexceptable. I think these things can be fixed so I would give them another shot in a few years on a smaller job and see how that turns out first. Now I must pay another company to redue the work not done. I dont let companies try to fix something 3 times. This isnt baseball.

    Purchased the Big Deal on 11/19/13 for gutter cleaning and gutter power washing. Recieved an e-mail stating that they had a large response to the deal and guaranteed that they would honor all jobs. They would be sending an e-mail with date and approx. time. Never got another e-mail, so I e-mailed them asking if I had missed an e-mail. Recieved a response from an e-commerce site stating that the company would not be honoring the job and we could get a refund or use another company that was stepping in. Checked on that company and found that they do mostly interior painting, and had several bad reviews, so opted for the refund. I have no idea why they could not honor the commitment as I recieved nothing from them stating this. In their only e-mail to me they stated, quote, "we do and love to work in the cold". Obviously not.

    It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was mostly okay. He was a young guy and didn't understand that he needed to call if he was going to be late. When he got here, he did a very good job so I really don't have a complaint. He actually did a couple of other things for me without any extra charge because of the miscommunication.

    Dr Sweep
    I work nights and told the people in the office that when they called the last time to schedule.  I had been waiting for all the leaves to get off the trees and for them to be raked up before I called to have the gutters cleaned, and was going to call them the day they called me.  Dr. Sweep was trying to get all the Angie's List Big Deals closed before winter set in.  The technician was to come out Saturday December 8th between 9 and 1 and I didn't have to be home.
    The tech called about 10 to say he would be late (he arrived just after 1 and I told him I wouldn't be home when he came and that he had awakened me for which he apologized profusely, but I can't blame him because looking at the receipt it says on there to "Call at least 30 minutes before arriving". He cleaned the gutters in approximately 45 minutes.
