  I first met Rich the owners son of Fullers Service when I needed a U joint installed, I should have ran when his employee hammered my drive shaft back into the transmission, it was stuck tight. He did not know that it had a keyhole that needed to be aligned for the teeth to line up, and it would just slide right in. It took Rich a half hour to beat my aluminum drive shaft back out, the trans has had vibration ever since. He fired that guy, So I gave him another chance, I felt bad for him, as his wife just came down with cancer, I felt a connection, as my wife also has Cancer. I shared some hard learned cancer advise, as my wife has been through the every type of cancer treatment over last 12 years. He came across as a straight up honest guy.

  
   His business was slow and almost failing at the time, So I thought I'd help him out and paid him $1000 cash under the table to help him out. It was a verbally agreed upon deal, and sealed with an honest hand shake or so I thought, to remove a motor and trans from a wrecked S10 Blazer $100 and install the Motor in an S10 Blazer $500, and the trans into an S10 pick up $400.
  
  
  
  Meanwhile the fuel pump went out on my daily driver along with the drive shaft U Joint he installed in my Z71 Chevy. The U joint fell apart again, and the drive shaft wound up hitting the pavement destroying it ( my new honest mechanic said they never installed the grease fitting zerk, or added any grease into the new U joint, that's why it failed so quickly destroying my drive shaft ! ) I bought a new high quality German made pump on line for less than he charges for the cheep made in China ones he uses that only last a few months, and a junk yard drive shaft for $100. Rich charged me $200 to install the new pump, $175 is book rate, and $200 to put another U joint into the $100 replacement drive shaft that I had to purchased, slide drive shaft yolk into the trans, then tighten up 4 bolts that hold the rear in place !! I though $40 would have been more in line with a single u joint replacement, $40 - $60 is book rate, and everybody else's prices on the u joint replacement. espescially since he didnt greese the u joint he installed which resulted in it's failure. But I was broke at the time, and he already had my $1000 cash credit, so he knew he had me in a bind and took advantage.
  
  
  
  This left me $600 cash credit to finish the Blazer motor installation. Then came Tax return time, and he got busy. He asked if I could wait on the Blazer to take care of current paying jobs, I said fine, It's been sitting 2 years already, no hurry. The truck sat in his parking lot until May / June when they tore up his parking lot to replace Speedways gas station in ground tanks. He then pushed the Blazer across the street into a shopping center parking lot and left unlocked. All the aluminum skid plates, aluminum drive shaft, 2 radiators, and radio knobs that were inside the truck were all stolen. I couldn't figure out how the steering column got broke, until I asked for the keys to be returned, He has never returned my keys !!, so I assume he lost them, and broke the steering column's internal lock to make it able to steer across the street. They also took a screw driver to both door locks trying to break into it. It stayed across the street for months until I saw someone checking it out and got it out of there to somewhere safe, I had it towed again to another shop to be repaired. ( The new honest shop had the motor and trans installed and running in both trucks in just 3 days for $700 )
  
  
  
  He never called to tell me that my truck was gone from across the street, it could have been stolen, he just didn't care. So when I asked for my unused $600 back, as it had been almost a year !, he said he had to talk to his dad, this went on for 3 months, finally he said his dad was mailing me a check, I should have it next week. I waited 3 weeks, the check never came. So I went in to ask what was up. He verbally attacked and physically intimidated me out of his shop, screaming directly into my face 3 inches apart with spit flying out, stating he didn't owe me anything !!!, get the _uck out. This was a straight up unarmed robbery, by helping him out and paying in cash bypassing the tax man for him, I was left without any detailed write up, All I got was a receipt for the $1000 I paid him, no detailed list of repairs, just a hand shake deal which has always been fine with me until now. I thought he was a man of his word and honorable, so I was fine with it. But turned out he's just a THIEF. He straight up stole $600 from me. My guess is that Dad never knew anything about the $1000 dollars cash I gave him. Rich spent it, and now doesn't have the money to repay me. So he just decided to totally screw me and keep my money. He is a very large muscle body building type guy, and is very intimidating when he's screaming / spitting directly into your face, and not faking Mr. nice guy. DO NOT TAKE ANYTHING TO THIS SHOP TO BE REPAIRED. AS HE IS A STRAIGHT UP THIEF. HE COMES ACROSS AS STRAIGHT FORWARD AND HONEST, BUT THAT'S NOT THE CASE, IT'S A FRONT, HE ONLY CARES ABOUT HOW MUCH HE CAN STEAL FROM YOU BY OVER CHARGING OR STRAIGHT UP THEFT IN MY CASE. NO HONOR IN HIS BUSINESS. SAVE YOURSELF MONEY, TIME AND HEADACHE BY GOING SOMEWHERE HONEST WITH REASONABLE RATES THAT CARES. I'm also out $100 for another radiator when I had 2 inside it, $100 for a used drive shaft, $50 for used door locks and keys, $25 for new ignition key from GM dealer, $175 for used steering column installed $75 for used under body protector plates in carbon fiber, I couldn't find any original aluminum ones. the $100 I paid to have it towed to his shop, another $100 to tow it to another shop. another $400 to install the motor, In all an extra $1125 that I should have never have had to pay out, then he straight up steals my $600 !!!! and intimidates me out the door with his hulking size and verbal threats of violence. Rich is a straight up crook. He calls himself a Christian, But he only worships taking your money. DO NOT GO THERE, THIS WAS A BAD BAD DEAL, DON"T LET HIM RIP YOU OFF TO.
