Very good experience with Dr Cornblath. He gives you all the time you need to ask questions and is very good about answering, even though you may think they are not that important. Does not rush you and talks on a level you can understand. Wonderful Doctor!

He overrode me and insisted that it was better to see close and not far. I had been able to see well enough to see a movie or watch television without glasses. Now, everything is very gray and foggy and I feel like I'm seeing under water. The procedure took the ability to see color out of my left eye. Dr. Mian said there was nothing he could do. We went through the patient advocate program and she...

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
I had been walking my dog and noticed someone's recycled papers. I was picking them up and a tree branch went in my eye. We waited at the doctor's office the next morning. They said I had damaged the eye but in addition it had caused the cataract to drop down. They attended to the injury and suggested I should wait a year to see if the catarct started to drop in the other eye. I waited and it did not. They then said they could remove both cataracts. Dr. Mian presented three options to me. I went with the option to where I was able to see far and use my readers for up-close vision needs.

The eye exam was very thorough, taking about two hours altogether. It was very helpful to have both the optometry exam and the annual ophthalmologic exam done as a package, i.e., in a single visit. The physician took time to discuss the results of the examination, for example, explaining that lenses alone could not bring my vision to 20/20 because of the presence of cataracts. He discussed with me...

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
I visited the Kellogg Eye Center for the second time over two years to be fitted for new eye glasses and to have an annual ophthalmologic exam. The optometry exam (eye glasses) produced prescriptions for distance and reading glasses. I took those to Costco, where appreciation was expressed for Kellogg’s having provided separate prescription write-ups for each pair of glasses, apparently something not always done. The annual ophthalmologic exam checked for eye pressure, cataracts, and glaucoma.

Making appointments is easy. Parking is easy and free. Their Ophthamolgists are experts in their fields. Optometrists see patients promptly. The store on site provides lots of eyeglass options. Orders are processed promptly and eyeglass orders arrive promptly as well.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
The optometrists at the Kellogg Eye Center check my eyes every year and recommend glasses as needed. Opthamologists check my eyes as needed.

When I made my appointment, I had to wait over almost two months. The morning of my appointment I recieved a call saying that my appointment had been cancelled because the doctor was ill and that I would have to reschedule. I understood this, but it was still frustrating to have waited so long to just have to reschedule. When I called to reschedule, the next available appointment was almost anothe...

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
I needed a new prescription for my glasses and a checkup.
