  • We cleared food remnants from trap and pipes, then found black sludge preventing all drainage from the kitchen. Mike worked from both ends - upstairs and downstairs - to ensure that the clog was completely cleared. Our house is over 25 years old and never needed snaking. It should be good for the next 25 years now! The service was excellent. We called in the morning. Mike arrived right on time at about 12:15 and finished by 2:30. He even took time to answer some basic questions about regular maintenance. Thanks, Mike!

  • Josh and his team are top notch—competent, professional, polite— the whole package! I got three quotes, and their price was in line with others, but their quality superior. I was so glad I hired them; my bathroom is better than imagined! I’d definitely hire them again.

  • Dinse Contracting is the third contractor we have hired in the past 25 years to do major remodeling on our home and this was, hands down, the very best experience we have ever had and far better than previous experiences. Here's why: 1. The quality of the work is impeccable. 2. All the details are perfectly executed and done with pride and attention to each one. 3. The work was done over several months (per the agreed upon timeline) and this was our master bathroom. We continued to live in our master bedroom throughout the work. The workers, every last one, worked so neatly that there was never dust or dirt created by the job that was not removed at the end of EVERY work day. 4. Every last artisan and worker was polite no matter what. 5. As with every project, there were problems to solve, and each time, Brian Dinse worked transparently with us to resolve each one as it arose. For example, when removing the old bathroom, moisture had gathered in an exterior wall inviting carpenter ants and damage. Brian and his crew skillfully replaced the wall, the outside siding and insulated the new walls to create a much more efficient environment relative to heat and air conditioning. 6. Not just with problems, but each step of the way, Brian and his crew communicated directly with us and again, with transparency. This was so refreshing and relieved us of any anxiety relative to the work and what was happening next. 7. The bathroom is absolutely gorgeous and perfectly installed...perfectly. Each person who worked on this project did so with attention to detail and with great skill. The tile work is artisanal/stunning/beautiful. All that you can see looks amazing and all that you cannot see was done with the highest level of workmanship and professionalism. 8. The price tag for the work was exactly as quoted and the work was high end, so the price was more than reasonable. 9. We asked that a few other details in our house be addressed and the handyman work was professionally done. 10. The level of trust that Brian and his people established was high and due to good communication and transparency. 11. All I can say is, I will hire Dinse Contracting again without any hesitation or reservation. They far exceeded our expectations. We got exactly what we wanted...an amazing master bathroom. We are so very grateful.

  • We have a clawfoot tub that needed a new faucet. I ordered a faucet online. Dan from Old Town Plumbing came out to look at the job, give an estimate, and make sure we had the right faucet. This visit is free. It turned out I had ordered the wrong faucet. I ordered another faucet, and Dan reserved a half day of his time, because all the plumbing was so old that he thought it likely that the drain plumbing and it’s connections would also need replacing. Meaning, once disconnected to move the tub, not able to be reconnected. My husband then decided to save money by doing the job himself. He hit a glitch because the new faucet did not have beveled inlets, necessary to connect to the supply plumbing. Dan came out, confirmed this faucet also would not work. He and his assistant then had to start calling their subsequent customers to see if anyone could let them come early, since he had reserved a half day of time for my job. I apologized profusely, and tried to write him a $75 check, which is their fee for showing up for a job, and then they charge an hourly fee. He refused my check, saying he was sure I would need him sometime. So I highly recommend Old Town Plumbing based on their integrity and fair dealing with customers. I cannot comment on the quality of their work, since I didn’t need that, but Dan is a licensed plumber, which you would need for the warranty on your parts to be valid. Happy ending to my story, my husband found an inexpensive faucet at Stadium hardware which was correct, and installed it. I look forward to my first bath this morning!!

  • Brian Dinse, owner and manager of Dinse Contracting, has worked for us on several projects over the years. Most recently, his company remodeled our walkout basement, which entailed a complete reworking of a family, laundry, and bathroom. His crews include by and large are a great group of guys who do good work. His personal strengths as owner/manager are organization and attention to detail. He also takes pride in the results and is a man of his word. In the instances when something did not turn out as he’d promised, or was substandard, he rectified the problem immediately. His first goal is to please his clients.

  • 2nd time working with Bill Walton. Just as before, fair price, excellent work, professional, fast, and got me in the day after I called him. Frankly, there is no reason to not call him for your plumbing needs. He is one of the best contractors of any trade I dealt with.

  • Failure in diagnosis, execution, parts management, scheduling, on-time appearance. Here's the story: • One visit for diagnosis • Another visit to replace, but failed b/c he determined the handle was frozen (wrong, another company determined he hadn’t loosened the screw securing the handle, they got it off in less than a minutes) • 8 days passed with no contact, I called, explained we had an upcoming vacation, and asked for a scheduling call. None received. • We went on vacation. • Still no call on scheduling. I called and was told that another part was needed and it would take 7 -10 more days. • A few days later I called to ask them for the part number so I could order the think online and was told it had arrived and the plumber would be out in two days between 12 and 2. I explained that I had a business call at 2 and would not be able to let him in if her arrived after the promised window. • He didn’t arrive on time. At 2:12, I had to step away from my business call to answer a call from Hutzel to say there was confusion on whether their team had the right parts. He wanted to know what year my shower hardware was manufactured. • Net: six full weeks without the shower. Two visits. Misdiagnosis of frozen handle. Multiple promised return calls not made. One missed visit. Multiple confused calls about parts. • I fired them in April and mailed a letter to management (no e-mail addresses on their site). • In September I get a bill for over $200 for the two failed visits. I call and leave a lengthy message because the two billing people are out. No reply. • In October, I get another bill with late payment charges. I call and am told the billing person is out. I ask to speak to management and get voicemail. I leave another message.

  • Indoor comfort has replaced my water heater and my furnace; both work was done in a timely manor and with friendly service. When the furnace was being replaced it was winter and I had little ones in the house and they brought space heaters to keep us warm while they were doing the work; very thoughtful and over and above customer service. Also when my water heater broke it was the evening before we were to leave for a vacation; Indoor Comfort was able to come by that night to assist

  • They overcharged, even after they advised me to get hold of my own parts. I was still charged for two visits, even though I was told that would not happen. In some ways, the fixture is in worse shape than when they arrived. I spoke with someone in the office, she stated that a supervisor would call me and they never called. Very unprofessional and less than concerned about the quality of the service they provide, let alone the high overcharge.

  • This is one of the worst plumbing companies I ever dealt with. I had a bathroom faucet that is not dispensing cold water and I call Cumming Plumbing. The guy came in, his first idea for checking whether a valve leading to the faucet is working is to replace the valve!! I said no. After an hour fooling around he told me that he has no idea what the issue is. But not before -- and without asking -- replacing the faucet cartridge and charging me for it. Although he could not fix the problem, he was very happy to charge me anyway. He sat in his truck for 15 minutes, took his time to write a report and, without any shame, tried to charge me even for that time. And did I mentioned that he did not fix the issue? Bottom line: these people are incompetent and dishonest, the kind of business that give plumber a bad reputation. I would not recommend them, there are a lot of fake reviews out there.
