    Heritage Collision Ann Arbor
When I brought the car in at the appointed time they felt that they could take care of it in 30 - 45 min. They took off the old grill and then realized they were missing a part. Billy said they would get me a rental for 24 hours. I was there when the office manager ordered the car and told them that Heritage would pay the bill. When I returned the car the next day, Heritage was billed as arranged. After more than a month, Heritage refused the bill. When I called and asked for Billy, they said he was no longer there. Apparently they didn't agree with Billy's decision to pay for a car. If I knew what I know now, I would have told them to put the old grill back on and I would return when they had the needed parts. Even though they did not agree with Billy's decision a reparable company would stand by an employee's decision. Any company that acts in this manner can't be trusted.

From start to finish, my experiences with Darrin were fantastic. I live north of Baltimore, so traveling down to Glen Burnie was the greatest hassle, but Darrin was more than happy to do pick ups and drop offs at the nearest light rail station or coffee shop (depending on the scale of the repair).
It's amazing Darrin achieved in only a few hours and at the price point he charges, especially compared to the competition at my dealers' body shops. He was also very forthright about imperfections which could sometime occur as a result of him working outside: he spotted the imperfections, apologized profusely and asked me to come back the following week to buff things. Considering the price and end result the following week, it was more than worth that minor hassle. I've had previous issues with dealer body shops refusing to concede that they'd made minor mistakes (at three times the price), so Darrin's attitude was most welcome.
The quality of work was outstanding. I sold my sedan shortly after the repairs, and the inspector that the buyer sent detected no problem with the paint work. Darrin was also very forthright when I asked him about repainting certain scratches, saying it was not worth the expense. How often do you find a guy in the auto repair business who refuses to take more money from you?
Overall, Darrin was an extremely competent and economical alternative to regular body shops, and I recommend him very highly.

    All Truck Accessories
After inspecting the installation I noticed one of the two old bolts that fasten the hitch to the bumper was still there with head cut off.  So I took the truck back immediately and explained the problem. Their response was "oh yah, we were aware of that."  I usually do my own mechanic work and, knowing both bolts are required to be safe, I told them this was not sufficient or acceptable. The man I spoke to (the manager) said he "made the decision" and did not have the time, space or equipment to complete the job correctly and would have to farm out the work because they do not have torches to burn out the old stubborn bolt. He also mentioned he did not want my vehicle "clogging up the bay" any longer. I also found out it was a sub-standard hitch for the towing I anticipated as the hitch was only rated for 500 lbs. tong wait and 5000 lbs. load (SAME AS THE BUMBER RATING). I told him it was not his decision to leave the work unfinished and he should have called me instead of selling me a botched job.  He finally offered to replace the missing bolt for an additional $80.00 and refused to consider sharing the cost.  I find it hard to believe anyone would charge $80 to torch off a single bolt. Anyway, I left very unsatisfied and told them I would have someone else completed the job (probably me). I do not trust this company, would not recommend them would NOT use their services again.
