Absolutely horrible.  At first I was impressed that they wrapped everything.  That is why I hired them.  I have moved before and was very concerned about my furniture getting damaged.  Short version - they admittedly milked the clock and damaged a lot of my stuff.  Read on for details....
On the day of the move they were an hour late... I thought - ok let it go.. things happen..  The estimate was 8 1/2 hours. I understood it was just an estimate and was assured it would all be done in one day and could be 2 hours more or less..  I was to have 4 guys and 1 large and 1 medium truck.  I spent the morning of the move doing my own thing around the house.  At 1pm I looked at how much had been done in 3 hours time.  Mind you I am paying them an hourly rate.  It didn't seem like they had moved very much so since I'm no expert and wanted them to take great care in my things I started to watch them more closely.  I was shocked.  Everytime they loaded a piece of furniture into the truck 3 of the men stood there discussing what to move next and where to put it for 5-15 minutes!!!!  Again I bit my tongue and thought maybe their taking a break or need to have mini meetings at certain intervals..  I continued to watch...  needless to say it happened ( literally ) with every piece of furniture!!  After the 4th or 5th time I called Abdullah ( 2:21pm) who was my contact.  I explained what was going on and he said they were taking great care in my move and not damaging my furniture was their number 1 priority.  I reluctantly said OK and continued to watch.  After a few more hours of this I called again ( 6:29pm) and got the same response from Abdullah..  At this point we were at the 8 1/2 estimated time and they hadn't even finished loading my old house let along drive the 45 minutes to my new house and start unloading, unwrapping and putting together of my furniture.  So I started to watch them more closely and they seemed to scatter when I walked up to them.  Eventually everything was loaded and I headed to my new home and waited.  I assumed they stopped for dinner which was perfectly fine but wondered if and how it was all going to get done and what the plan was for the next day to finish.  It would be a Sunday and was I concerned my stuff would be left till Monday.  Up till this point my only problem was the "lolygaging" by the workers.  Unfortunately once they started unloading my stuff they were bumping the front door... the hallway... the entry doors to rooms...  rolling stuff into the grass and mud.. taking things apart on the front porch and squeezing other items around it...  I was heartbroken.. I wasn't mad or irritated anymore I was about to cry.  Luckily just then one of the owners ( I was told ) Kingsley showed up and I explained everything to him and again got no respect.  He actually insulted me by saying how he had seen the house I was moving from and knew that I was going through a divorce!!  I was shocked!  What does that have to do with a moving company doing their job??  It was all I could do to keep from bursting out in tears.  Now mind you my furniture is high end and had never been moved..  I take great pride in my possessions ( too much probably ) and for him to insult me as a woman of a divorce and note that my new home was significantly smaller than my marital home was insulting.  I wanted to explain that this was a temporary move to 1 of my 3 rentals homes but resisted and just wanted them to stop damaging my stuff.  He assured me he would talk to them and after doing so left.  The movers behavior never changed.  It was getting late and they had to go back to get another load.  Items that were damaged were my treadmill- it was all scratched up.  My black bedrooms set had numerous dents and scratches that because it is black stand out like a soar thumb..  broken glass shelves, my daughters new at Christmas $300 cat tree, a $500 solid oak porch swing just to name a few.. missing screws.. extra screws that weren't from my move...  a lamp my X-Husband sent me a picture of that he found in the trash can., dents in my drywall..  You get my point.... ugh..  long story longer at 10:30pm 2 of the guys and 1 truck still weren't back with my stuff and I wanted to go to bed and did so not knowing what was going on..   The next day I get a call from Kingsley apologizing for the way he spoke to me and an admission that the man in charge was milking the clock because he needed money to fix his car.  NEVER EVER HIRE THIS COMPANY..  Their trucks have the logo "Movers R Us"...
They are going to say I had more items to move than what was quoted when they gave me the estimate... That is probably true since Abdullah didn't write down everything I was pointing out.. At the time I assumed he was just noting the big things...  There was an extra refrigerator that I paid 2 of the movers $20 each to move but other than that it was all disclosed and a bad estimate on their part.  They spend the better part of the day Sunday putting together my items and finishing the delivery.  Hours and hours were wasted and there is no reason why 4 men couldn't have finished the job in 1 day.  If you do hire these people do not pay them by the hour.  Kingsley did tell me he fired the man in charge but couldn't lower my bill much ( he took $500 off) because he had already paid him.  I think that was bull since he told me he couldn't get a hold of the guy all day Sunday when I paid him ( in cash which is all they will accept).  I wanted another $500 off to cover the now known damages.. sent photos etc and he would only "possibly" pay .60 cents on the dollar after I filled out a bunch of paperwork and signed disclosures etc.  I refused as I was already feeling overwhelmed, stressed and a day behind.  I no longer care about the money I just don't want this to happen to anyone else.
