    Stone Specialists Inc
We had Stone Specialists replace our old countertops with granite and it really upgraded the kitchen. The process was easy and we enjoyed working with the folks picking out the stone, deciding the cuts and planning the installation.

”TWO THUMBS UP FOR MKC”; Andy was a true professional from start to finish. We had 31 Bridgewood Kitchen Cabinets, Large Pantry, Island and Custom Range Vent Hood installed all covered with Cambria Quarts. Everything was ordered, installed, and completed on time per our agreement. Top Notch service! Highly recommended!

    Motor City Builders
This is a follow up to our initial review.  The work was completed just before Thanksgiving and we love the new kitchen.  Ryan and Matt were terrific; very professional, polite, personable and easy to get along with.  Job site was cleaned up every day!  Dave Poirier, the owner, stopped by every day to check on the progress and to answer any questions we had about what was being done.  Had a few snags along the way but everything turned out great.  The job did take a little longer than planned because the cabinet supplier had sent the wrong (or even forget a couple) cabinets and we had to wait for those to come in.  Dave estimated about six weeks for completion and without the snafu of the cabinets, which made the granite installation delayed, it would have been on point.  With the farm sink, granite surface, backsplash and the two tone cabinets and wood flooring, the kitchen turn out just beautiful.  The dining room was a total oldie.  We had the paneling removed, refinished and painted all surfaces and installed a chair rail,  installed radiate heat and wood floors.  Completely different room now.  In half bath, removed old tile, installed radiate heat and the wood-look ceramic tile to match the dining room and kitchen.

    Superior Carpentry
Our bathroom project went extremely well. This was a total gut job from floor to ceiling. New installation included ceramic tile on the floor and shower walls along with a new double sink vanity and a quartz top. We also had James install a new linen cabinet for added storage in the bathroom. In summary, we couldn't be happier!

    Superior Carpentry
This was a huge job, and the three weeks went by fast. James and his helper were here everyday promptly, worked all day, and stayed until his daily goals were met. On a couple occasions it required a later end to his day due to problems encountered in a fifty year old house, but he stayed until the problem was solved. Starting with the demo of both rooms, he was very conscious in trying to keep the dust down using drapes to block others rooms, difficult to do when taking out walls and parts of ceiling to accommodate cabinets in kitchen and a shower stall in the bathroom. The extremely cold weather outside also didn't allow the house to stay open for long periods of time to alleviate dust since I was home during the work day, and James was very conscious of me staying comfortable while home. The nice part, after the demo, was seeing how much progress there was at the end of each day. He came in each day knowing exactly what his goals to accomplish were for that day. My garage was his work space, and not only was the remodel area cleaned everyday, but so was the garage area. Throughout the process I noticed how much James insures that the quality is always there, and that the customer gets the desired result. There is always a good line of communication and he is always open to questions, changes, and suggestions, and if an idea is possible he will make certain it gets completed. He took my phones calls and emails and always answered me promptly. He is a good problem solver, and when he ran into a couple issues that changed original plans we discussed it, and he always came up with a way to satisfactorily remedy the situation. He definitely wants to give the customer that superior quality. He also offers suggestions that can save both time and money. I very quickly came to respect and value his expertise, and felt that he valued my input as well. I had initially called Superior Carpentry based on Angie's List reviews, and I am glad I did. I highly recommend his work, his professionalism, and his work ethic. He is someone who takes pride in his workmanship and rightly so. I already have future projects for him, and won't hesitate to call with any kind of household project, big or small. He certainly can handle it all, and seems to align himself with others ("his granite guy") who also feel the same about giving fair priced quality service. Superior Carpentry is an A-! quality business and comes very highly recommended. I am glad I found someone I can trust who stands behind his work.

    Jason Foldenauer Construction LLC
Very well. Jason provided a detailed, accurate proposal, and was very receptive to questions, discussion, and changes before signing the contract. He is friendly, and inspires confidence. Our major concern was staying within budget, and he was respectful of that. He provided guidance on design, while at the same time listening to what we wanted and fulfilling our vision. We are extremely happy with the finished product. The project did take longer to complete than scheduled, but as we were more focused on budget and were flexible on the timeline this was not a problem. I feel confident that if we had pushed to complete it as scheduled Jason would have made it happen. We will call him again for our next project.

    Hard Rock Stone Works
Worked with Max Fair who is an outstanding resource. Took the time to walk the floor with us as we whittled down our choices. Always communicated, took input, provided feedback, and we wound up with a phenomenal result. Great delivery/install workers. On-time and professional. Would recommend them to anyone looking to do kitchen granite/quartz.

    July's Construction
We have been very pleased with the quality and workmanship in regard to the cabinetry, granite counters and flooring. Other aspects of the job (electrical, plumbing, doors...), while not as obvious were done to the professional standards that should be expected. For a variety of reasons, the job took a bit longer than we expected but we never felt that the company did not make us a priority. They worked steadily and coordinated the use of specialty workers so there was little down time while waiting for one of the subcontractors to do their job. This was a job that we considered to be long overdue for our house and now that it is done we wonder why we waited so long. We are very pleased with the outcome and pleased with the care that all of the workers took on our behalf.

We could not be happier with the remodels of our two bathrooms! Tim provided intelligent, cost effective suggestions, and he kept in contact as the projects progressed. We greatly appreciated this because we live out of state and could not be there for every step of the process. One of the things we were most impressed with was the transformation of our smaller bathroom. The previous layout did not maximize space, and we consistently had problems with the pipes freezing. Tim reconfigured the layout while utilizing what was in good working order resulting in a totally unrecognizable and WARM bathroom at a reasonable price.  Finally, since we live out of state for a portion of the year, it was important to us that our contractor be reliable, professional, and, above all, trustworthy. That is exactly what we got with Tim and his contractors. We always felt at ease, and our home was even more beautiful when we returned to see the final product. We strongly recommend Tim and will use him for our future renovations.
