AGen Pro LLCAfter living with 2 power outages that lasted for days this summer we decided it was time for a whole house generator. I checked Angies List and found Gen Pro. All the reviews are accurate. Shawn (the owner) is terrific. He does what he says he will do, when he says he will do it, and is so responsive, I had to get better at checking my emails to see his notes. The job was done completely, on time and by a group of very dedicated workers. The last accolade was when the inspector from Livingston County came over to review the job, he said, "Oh Shawn at Gen Pro did this? He does an excellent job. I know it was done right!" AOak Electric Service IncExcellent! The salesman was knowledgeable and took the time to explain the use of the generator and answered all of my questions. He looked around my yard and determined an excellent location for the generator. The installation crew was A-1. They were polite and knew exactly how to do the work. Also, they cleaned up all debris and left the area nice and clean. Also, I appreciated the large amount of paperwork concerning the generator that the lead installer gave to me, as well as the fact that he went through it with explanations that I could understand. FDon's Electric ServiceVery poorly. I requested the quote on July 23 with the note that I wanted to have it installed within 30 days. First contact was that I could not even get a person out to quote the job until August 11. I accepted that and waited over 2-1/2 weeks, only to receive a call less than 2 hours before the person was supposed to arrive - and the call was to inform me that the person scheduled to assess the job for a quote was not qualified and it would be another week and a half before a qualified person could come out. AWe had to have mini split systems installed because the layout of our home wouldn’t be ideal for central air. Oak came in with a very professional estimator, up front pricing and financing, and always answered our calls. On the 2 days of install they arrived on time, with a full crew of two truck fully stocked with all of the supplies and equipment needed. They were coordinated, polite, ready, and the most organized operation I have ever seen.

AI wanted to take a second and let everyone know about Goyette Mechanical. My furnace went out Tuesday and the furnace was not repairable. I called several company's in the area on Wednesday and Kam from Goyette arrived and gave me a wonderful quote and explained everything about the new system that I would be getting. During the Covid-19 ordeal Goyette came out Thursday morning to install my new system. The technicians arrived at the time I was given, Job and Kyle were the two gentlemen that arrived at my home . The first thing they did was to come in put down tarps to keep my home clean and inspected the area of the furnace and the area outside where the new condenser would be placed. They completed the job in a very timely manner, cleaned up the area where they were working, inspected the system to make sure it was running correctly and then explained the new components to me in detail. They installed and new thermostat programmed it and explained to me how it works and the programming for it. I would HIGHLY recommend Goyette to anyone needing a heating and cooling system, hot water heater or generator. In closing THANK YOU JOB AND KYLE you did a GREAT JOB!!!!!!

FThe guy came to my house and inspected my generator, he told me he didn’t have the part on hand or at the office so he had to order it. I told him that is okay. Someone later that month came to my house and fixed the generator. I thought it was him so I was happy. Later, someone from his office tells me he will be out to fix my generator. I told her that her guy already fixed the generator and I was happy. No need to come out again. She refused to listen to me and sent the guy out to fix my already repaired generator. He gets to my house sees the generator working and now he wants to charge me for 2 service fees. I found out that he misdiagnosed my unit in the first place. These people are scams. Do not trust them. They try to diagnose a larger problem so they can get more money for the warranty repair.
