AGILBOE'S LOCK & SAFEI called Gilboe's when I locked my keys in my trunk on a Saturday and had to get them out ASAP. The locksmith who arrived was professional, very competent, and quickly assessed the situation and got me into my car (which was also locked) so I could pop the trunk and retrieve my keys. He arrived less than 30 minutes after my call on a Saturday outside normal business hours, and I was very impressed with the service all around. I highly recommend this company!! ASteve's Lock & SafeWe just purchased a new home in Tecumseh. When the local locksmith cancelled on us, we contacted Steve's Lock and Safe to re-key the four locks on our new house. I was unable to go, so my wife met Steve at the house. While I don't often give five star reviews, Steve is very deserving. First, his prices were reasonable (200.00 for everything--four locks re-keyed including two that had no existing keys, eight keys, two hours of work), Second, he has been doing this work for over 40 years and his knowledge is expert. Third, while some mechanic and machine people treat women differently than men--Steve treated my wife with the utmost respect. Fourth, Steve went above and beyond--showing my wife the proper way to lubricate the locks, making a safety lock for the sunroom entry door, and lubricating and cleaning out the second door on the double front entry door at no extra charge. Fifth, he made time to come out on two days notice. Finally, he kept his word on his pricing even though he spent more time than anticipated. Steve and his company have my highest recommendation.- keith c.

APop-A-Lock of Ann ArborAfter moving into a new house we need all the locks in the house/garage/barns replaced. Quote turnaround time was fast, 1 day. Scheduled install for the following Saturday. At time of install we decided to add 2 deadbolts to the long list of replacements; he had no problem adding that at the time. He didn't quite finish on that day b/c of the additions but came back the next morning to finish at no extra charge. After a week 1 of the locks popped out and he came back the following Saturday and fixed it, again at no extra charge. He was polite and professional, very satisfied with service and highly recommend.- Shannon J.

DOn Jan 9th I ordered a 4 drawer AMSEC Stor it Cabinet AND two AMSEC Jewelry inserts 1375033 from Indehomes that were advertised on their website. I did receive the cabinet on Jan 23, but without the two ordered jewelry inserts.
I called and talked to Andrea about it and shortly after that I received, without notice, a refund for the inserts. I did manage to get her on the phone and she said she would check into it. I then received an email telling me they were discontinued and she could not find them.
I wrote her back telling her that AMSEC had 18 in stock and even gave her the phone number to call. I again didn't hear back from her, and she wouldn't answer the phone, so I had to call her from a number she wouldn't recognize. She did answer and she sounded so sincere when she said she would really check into it. However, to this day I have never heard back from her.
In the mean time, I ordered them from another company (and paid more for them) but received them in 8 days.
They were very nice on the phone the few time I could get a hold of them; however I would have appreciated sincerity instead!
They rarely answered their phones and I never used their Live Chat when anyone was there even though I tried many times.

AJob went extremely well, and was quickly done. I was contacted on a Monday and told it might be possible for the company to come out to the house the next day, in the morning, and they would let me know on Tuesday morning. True to their word Jason called early Tuesday and told us he would be at the house by 11, if that was convenient for us. He showed up promptly at 11, talked to us about what needed to be done, listened to our concerns about a keyless entry pad to the garage (not part of what they do but gave us some good advice), recommended the dead bolt on the garage service door, and had everything completed and had given us the new keys by about 12:40. Jason is professional, friendly, courteous, and very helpful. Works quickly and efficiently.
