    THE MAJOR'S FURNITURE & APPLIANCE
Poor customer service. My parent's purchased a washer and dryer a couple years back, and felt good because they were supporting local business. They recently had an issue with our dryer vent, so they called to schedule a repair visit. Thye were told this was too small of a repair to warrant a repair visit. They told them to fix it themselves. They are an older couple, and moving the dryer is difficult - so they called back asking to schedule service at any price. The receptionist again said they do not offer service for repairs this small, and did not have any suggestions for what to do. She then hung up.

The installation went very well and the kitchen looks fantastic. As with remodels you always hit glitches, and Fred is great about engineering a way around prospective problems. He thinks about what he is doing and the outcome.  We were returning home from Florida and Fred worked a 15 hour day to have it all done for us. He is not the cheapest guy in town, but his integrity and quality of work are worth a premium.

He just told me the problem over the phone. He told me what to do. I did it, fixed the problem and dishwasher has been running ever since. No charge

    Sears Appliance Repair
They were very good. Their responsiveness was very good. They were there when they said they would be. There was one guy and he was excellent. As a matter of fact while he was there, I asked him about a microwave whether it was worth getting fixed. He basically told me that I would pay this to get it repaired and told me that I just could buy another one. That was nice. I appreciated the honesty.

    Appliance Doctor of Maine
On a Monday afternoon, I clogged my front-loading washer's drain when I washed a rug and the backing on the rug flaked off.  The washer ruined its motor trying to drain the tub.  I found Mike on the web, read the testimonials and the Angie List reviews, and gave him a call.  As advertised on the web, he answers his own cell!  He was very friendly, very professional, and confirmed he could do the job.  As he was out on a call, he arranged to call me back within an hour, asking that I provide him with the model number of washer so he could see what he'd be up against. He promptly called back, ordered the part, and we made the appointment for two days later, in the late afternoon. On Wednesday, he was right on time.  He got right to it and in two hours the washer was as good as new. I was very impressed and more importantly, totally satisfied with Mike's work.  This guy is the real deal, making house calls after hours to accommodate customers.

    NORTHERN APPLIANCE SERVICE
The service was amazing! The issue was diagnosed over the phone with only a few details. He arrived five minutes early and was done in an hour. He was very knowledgeable about our appliance and even stayed a few minutes longer to look at our broken dryer.

Steve's Appliance Service & Sales Inc
My dishwasher was acting up.  I called for service and described the problems.  The service manager diagnosed the problem over the phone and tracked down the parts for my no longer being made dishwasher.  There was one home visit to install the parts and now working.

    PARK APPLIANCE SVC
We have a two year old LG glass top electric stove. About a year ago, the electric control panel buttons for two of the five burners started to intermittently stop responding, then quit all together.  John Park from Park Appliance Repair came out and tested/cleaned connections for all burners and the control panel and has it working like new again.  He also gave us the part number of the part that caused the problem in case it fails again in the future.   Making the appointment was a breeze.  He was on time and very professional.

    Moonlight Appliance Repair
He was very diligent and appointment conscious. The price of his service was reasonable. The price was in line with the other companies in this area. He did free appliance repair for me. Kim DeSchiffart was wonderful.
