    Joseph Lynch Arborist
Always on time, always responsive. Professional and pleasant. Plus he provided a show for the neighbors as two arborists are some 90 feet up removing and dropping the limbs and the trunk. Not for the faint of heart.

    WellTree, Inc.
I thought WellTree would have to find another date, as we had had a snow storm the day before the event.  But they are so trained,  all set and busy even in the winter , they showed matter how much or how little snow that was on the ground.  They had to cut some bushes on my property down to get between my house and my neighbors.  That was the only way that they could get close enough to the big pine tree and start cutting...piece by piece....from the top to the bottom. I didn't mind that a bit!  They were very good about being very safe in getting that truck where they needed it, between the two houses, without causing any problems on either side of the houses.  And they had brought another truck to 'chew up the branches' so I didn't have to worry about those things at all.  And they had a snow plow on the front of the truck that they needed between the houses.  Everything was there that they needed!  All three of the young men were able to tell me what they'd be doing and how they'd be doing it.  I just couldn't think of a young man getting into the part of the truck that would send him up to the top of the pine tree.  As I don't even like getting over two steps on a ladder.....this made me nervous.  But they all mentioned the safety lessons that they go to, and they were going like it was 'nothing to worry about'.  I had to look out one of my windows as they were starting the event.  One young man going up the Pine tree, one taking branches to the 'chew it up' truck and another cutting my very tall pear tree. (I wanted that gone as the squirrels were always playing and taking small bites of the pears.  and the branches on the pear tree would also hang over my shed where my generator was located.)   I had to look out several times to make sure the Pine Tree young man was OK.  Of course he was fine!  Working away as if it was spring time...not winter.  It didn't take them long to get the pine tree done.  It was a great crew, as they made sure no one was in danger when a branch came down.  they made big piles on the neighbors yard of places to put the branches from the tree,  He had asked that they leave the parts of the tree on the yard for him.  They were just amazing in how they cut the trees and how well they took care of the branches.  They were able to back the truck out at the end without a single mark on houses, or the fire hydrant that was close.  They did such a good job.  waiting to see if or when they'll come back to put something in the cut down trees to keep them from growing big and tall again.  We picked the right company to get those trees cut down!!!  Thank you WellTree!

    Hawkes Tree Service
Hawkes removed a large, decaying maple tree overhanging both the house and the street. They cleared everything away. There price was reasonable and they did the job efficiently and when they said they would. I would (and plan) to hire them again.

    Dricoll Tree Service
It went well. I called them initially because I’ve got like a garage that had a large oak branch lying on one side of the roof and it was doing no good for the roof and so I called them. The guy came down and took a look. He got here when he said he was going to get here. We went down and took a look and I had never really taken a close look at this tree before but the tree itself was sitting on the ledge rocked. He was able to just pick up the stick off the ground and kind of wave it around underneath the tree. It wasn’t well attached. There was one or 2 good size roots going down into the downhill side down below the rock but as for the rest of it, it was just sort of sitting there by its own weight and it was pretty obvious that if you got a good wind from the right direction, that tree would come right over and take the barn out with it and so I ended up having to have the whole tree taken down. I wouldn’t say it was cheap but I imagine his prices were probably comparable to what anybody else would charge. I think the price was good. I think it wasn’t unreasonable.

    Hawkes Tree Service

I contacted 4 different local tree service companies. 3 responded with quotes, one took my call, promised to quote, but never came out or quoted.

The issue was 2 large maple trees that were overhanging a garage. Due to the lay of the lot, it looked like it would be a job for a bucket truck. Hawkes Tree Service responded promptly, and gave a fair price to do the job.

They showed up when promised, with a crew of 3 men. They used the bucket truck, as well has had to climb one of the trees to finish the job.

Work was neat. Workers were professional and polite, and a very thorough clean up of the yard and driveway when finished, complete with using a blower to clear the driveway of sawdust.

Very good job; would use again anytime. Highly recommend.

It went very well. Tim, the owner, has great knowledge of types of stone, how they are cut, paving materials for a walkway, types of plants that do well in our climate, etc. He listened to our ideas, drew a sketch, and now we have lovely steps, a curving walkway, and bulbs of our choice planted along the walkway to bloom in succession in the spring.

    Preston Landscape
When we first called Keith, we didn't really know the extent of our problems, but he tackled them with a gusto, clearing out vast quantites of wild roses, honeysuckle vines and the like to reveal attractive plantings underneath, which he then pruned, thinned out and transplanted. Now that we are nearly done, he is undertaking to maintain the property and plow while we are away. Keith is a hard worker, very dependable,  and a pleasure to work with. We enjoy having him around and especially enjoy the wonderful gardens he has recreated.

They are a punctual, professional company, great project manager and fantastic crew. They worked on some pretty hot summer days, and didn't let it slow them down. There were no surprised or letdowns... Our lawn is coming in nicely, they came back after three weeks with some heavy rain and re-seeded a few areas. They also did an amazing job of cleaning up and even removed pallets for us when our pavers came in. Can't recommend them highly enough.

    Cavaliere Contracting
They did a wonderful job. They were on time, courteous, they did exactly what they said they were going to do and they did it well. I would use them again if I had to do it, if I had any other concrete work and I would recommend them to other people.

    WellTree, Inc.
They are amazing. Dealing with Jeff was wonderful, great guy, and his crew is comprised of professional, knowledgeable people who are aborists - not laborers. They take classes, keep up with equipment, processes, and understand the science of tree management. Big equipment trucks, chippers, cherry pickers. Jeff was always responsive to our questions and efforts to stay in budget; his prices are very good, and he is just a fantastic guy to do business with. Can't say enough about the crew, too, who were hard working, yet very friendly and communicative throughout the day.
We will hire them again in the future, no question. Oh, they even removed a pile of brush belonging to a neighbor, near the dead elm our neighbor is paying to have removed. Not a twig left behind.
