My previous dentist retired and sold the practice to him. I had been using him for about 30 years and I like Dr. Bufo as his replacement. I haven't had too many experiences with him. The one experience was good. I will definitely continue to use him.

I had major issues with my teeth back in 2007. 5 of them needed to be filled. other clinics quoted $2000+ to get job done. Lee did absolutely amazing job for less than $500! He scheduled two visits not to put me through too much pain in one day (even tho i didnt feel ANY pain at all!!!) All the fillings still remain in perfect shape as of today, 5+ years later! Lately I started noticing major discoloration of front teeth, couple of them were chipped so I was considering veneers ($1500/tooth). Also needed couple other teeth to be filled.Went to visit Lee to get his opinion and he fixed them all and made perfect white and naturally looking and also filled back teeth for less than $1000! Cant even describe how grateful I am! Thank you, Lee!

While I was filling out paperwork for my mother there was another patient who came in and checked in. She was having a hard time filling out the forms and she brought it to the receptionist. The receptionist didn't offer to help her with the forms. I gladly would have helped with those forms but she left after less than a minute and no one offered to help her out.

I engaged Dr. Dickinson for 7 years and have been disappointed overall in his dentistry.  I found him to be sloppy in his treatments and workmanship.  I finally decided to see another dentist and am so glad I've left his practice.  The new dentist is having to redo some of his work.
When his assistant left, he worked for several months without one.  I found that a bit odd.
I really enjoyed his hygienist.  She is very friendly and professional and seems quite competent.

Dr. Kivus is a genial person and a very good dentist. He moved here from Auburn 5-6 years ago. He is also a little more reasonable than my previous dentist, Dr. Long. The only reason he isn't my dentist now is because I had some specialized work done on my teeth, for which he sent me to a prosthodontist, Dr. Gitto. (See her review.) He has a sense of humor, is relaxed and fast. I would recommend him to anyone.

I called Progressive Dental and they got an appointment for me to get in right after I returned. They took care of it quickly and with essentially no pain. I have always had good experiences with them. Super friendly and very good. I would recommend them to anyone.

We found Ortengren via Angie's List.  He lives close to our new home, and had very good reviews.  Our first visit was to set up an appointment.  The receptionist was VERY friendly and helpful, and provided us with forms to have our records transferred from our previous dentist.  Less than a week before my appointment, a crown came off.  I phoned, and was pleased that time could be made the afternoon of my already-scheduled appointment to deal with the crown.  My initial appointment was thorough, and I had no sense of being rushed.  Dr. Ortengren took time to discuss my dental history and for us to get to know each other.  He then took more dental x-rays than I have ever had taken at on time in my life (around 10, I believe)!  I'm not sure if all that was necessary, although the initial visit was certainly thorough.  He also did a fine job re-cementing my crown--doing it quickly enough that I did not need to return for the slot scheduled later that day.  I am 64 years old, and have been to about a half-dozen dentists over the years.  Ortengren strikes me as a first-rate craftsman with genuine concern for his patients' well-being.  His prices are about 25% more expensive than I was paying in the Midwest, which seems commensurate with the higher cost of living here.  My only concern is with so many x-rays (which I trust won't need to be redone for a while).  Also, Orgengren spoke of possibly making a panoramic dental x-ray during one of my next visits.  (This is evidently useful in gaining more of a whole-mouth assessment of one's oral health.)  I'll probably refuse this additional evaluation, even though this type of x-ray is not supposed to expose one to much radiation.  I've never had one, and have no symptoms to make me think that it would be worth the expense.

The waiting room is pleasant. When they make appointments they know who you are and call you buy name. I've seen two or three of the hygienist and they're very up to date on a lot of recent developments on doing new techniques. The whole cleaning process has become less time consuming and less painful. If you need work it's done very well and professionally. I'm very happy with the results.

I made an appointment, they fit me right in, and I even found that one of my other dentist's staff now worked as one of Dr. DeRice's dental assistant! Dr. DeRice is very professional without being and quot;stodgeyand quot; and has a great way of explaining the options, the proceedure, and everything along the way. Even though he's an avid Yankees fan, he's great! I was also impressed with the technology and up

dated equipment they used, that they could do the root canal, and the crown (usually a 2-visit routine) in one appointment with their new methods. The crown was a better product/method, quicker, easier (they make it in-house while you're there, fit it with computer aided imagery so it fits perfectly the first time) and it's the same price as old-school technology! All the staff I met at the office were very friendly and professional...terrific!!!

I have had 2 visits with Dr. Saltz now (one for a cleaning/x-rays and one for a filling) and they have both been good.  I never expected to say this - but the filling was fun.  I haven't been to a dentist in many years, and my cleaning was not an easy one, but they did a great job and were very thorough and friendly.  The hygienist was very helpful in explaining what sorts of options I had and ways that I could avoid additional costs for things not generally covered by insurance.
At my filling, Dr. Saltz and his assistant had a very funny banter back and forth the whole time (while still doing an excellent job of taking care of me), complete with playing a song on a keyboard to celebrate my new flossing habit.
I left encouraged to keep up healthy habits with a clean mouth and a (slightly crooked from anesthesia) smile on my face.
