    THE DOGGIE COTTAGE
Kristi has taken care of both of our Llewellyn Setters since they were pups. Kristi and her team all know our dogs well, know their and quot;quirksand quot; and personalities and are always accommodating! Kristi has been great with our oldest dog through a couple of very scary situations, helped care for the dog, kept me (the anxious doggie mom) calm ... our dogs always come home tired but VERY happy.

    THE DOGGIE COTTAGE
My dog(s) have actively enjoyed staying at Doggie Cottage for YEARS. They're happily exhausted when I pick them up (from outdoor play) and never but NEVER smell like a kennel! When the car turns onto Holmes Road, my dog's tail starts to wag. Once there, she makes a beeline for the door to play yard, without so much as a backward glance. It's a no-guilt kenneling experience.

    ANIMAL REFUGE LEAGUE
We went to the ARL looking for a kitten or possibly a cat. The staff and volunteers helped us take a pet personality quiz and then pointed us in the direction of cats that we would likely be interested in. We found an American short-haired cat who is about a year old. The entire process did seem to take some time because there were so many people seeking to adopt. Otherwise, we had a great experience and we're enjoying the new member of our family.

    ANIMAL REFUGE LEAGUE
The experience was a bit chaotic. So many animals, so few people. Everybody was in love with the animals and seemed to have a favorite. More interesting was that each animal had someone who could talk about his/her personality. We were guided to the animals who best fit our needs and then allowed to time to think about our decision. Don't expect to see every animal, the staff do some screening based on their knowledge of the each animal's personality and needs and your needs. However, if you pass one who responds to you, they will gladly introduce you. Don't mind the noise or the clutter, it's controlled chaos; the wonder of the mix of staff, volunteers and animals waiting to be loved.,d warm up to us. have lost one.ssed

They take in stray animals. It's supposed to be a non kill shelter. They are always overloaded with stray animals. They put them on for adoption. One can pay them a fee. They are careful about who they give their animals to.
