  • They messed up the ceiling part in a corner.  They got the wall paint mixed in with the ceiling paint.  They did try to fix it.  We do have cathedral ceilings.  It took them a long time to paint.  I was a little frustrated or upset by the fact that the painter didn't have an extension ladder and ended up standing on my wood stove to reach.  It made me so nervous.  I really didn't want them to come back to fix the ceiling.  They did smudge it pretty bad, but I just choose to not look at it. It wasn't exactly what I would have expected from a professional painter, but they did an okay job. They were very responsive.  The owner called me the next day to see how it went.  They were very punctual and professional.  I guess it would be somewhat shady with the lack of ladders they had.  I would probably use them again.  Because of the difficult job, I think overall they probably are decent painters, it was just above their expectations.  They were prompt and worked right thru until they were done.

  • Was having problem with pump. Stoney Road responded quickly and helped me diagnose and fix the problem. Very honest and professional, reasonably priced.  Will definitely use the again. Nice familt business.

  • It took awhile to get an appointment. But he did keep in touch. Finally we were able to agree on a date. His workers arrived promptly and did a very good job. They gave us an evaluation on our chimney and the condition. Also told us how often we should clean it. Workers were very friendly.

  • Bob arrived on time, with his assistant, they went right to work, finished the job in a timely manner. I will also go on to say that I called Bob after a competitor cancelled at the last minute and Bob scheduled me on the next business day! I am very impressed.

  • Her came and looked at what could be done, but the deal was not gonna give us the bathroom we were hoping to have. So we did not end up using the deal. There were going to be some extra costs, that were completely reasonable, but outside of our budget.

  • They did everything right.  They came when they said they would;  they brought everything they needed and it was high quality (a really nice 12" X 10" x 10 foot oak beam).  They did the job safely, they did it well, they did it right the first time.  These guys are masters at timber framing.

    The housing inspector in the town (Winchester) was really impressed with the job they did).

    Their price was fair.  It was no more than the estimates from local carpenters who had never done a job like this.

    They were really interesting folks. 

    I really liked doing business with them.

  • We had been experiencing a loss of hot water.  I noticed that often the ignitor would spark but the burner would not light.  I have used MultiSpec Inc. / Aire Serv of Southern Maine in the past to troubleshoot and replace a faulty gas valve in the same water heater so they were my first call in this most recent problem.
    I placed a total of three separate service calls on this issue.  The first was about 10 months ago and the service technician could not duplicate the problem.  The second call was a couple months ago and the service technician was able to duplicate the problem and cleaned components on the ignitor but unfortunately this did not correct the problem even though the technician was not able to duplicate the problem after the cleaning.  I placed the third and final call recently and the service technician was able to determine the cause of the burner not lighting was due to the lack of water pressure at the hot water heater and recommended that I increase the cut in and cut out at the well pump.  This completely corrected the problem with the hot water heater and I've had no further problems with it.
    The bills for the three separate service calls added up to approximately $1050.00.  I had concerns about this amount as I felt that the water pressure as the cause should have been determined without having to place three calls, being billed for each call.  The owner of the company, Harvey Multer, called me after I raised my concerns and we had a very pleasant talk about the billing.  Harvey listened to my concerns and politely explained the reasons for the billing amounts and in the end, suggested a billing reduction that was very fair.  Harvey was very polite and professional with the billing issue and all technicians that have worked on my hot water heater have been professional and courteous. 
    I consider the service and billing issues completely resolved and I will be calling MultiSpec Inc. / Aire Serv of Southern Maine for any future hot water unit installs or servicing.

  • We called them to come and advise us as to what the problem could be.  We called them a few timesand left messages on their answering machine.  They never called us back so we went down to the shop.  The store was always closed.  After about 4 trips to the store it was open, but the repair person was not there so we left a message with the secretary.  Again no phone call.  Finally we got his cell number and called that and left a message.  Again no call.  We could not get any answer so we had to go elsewhere.

  • Called for price and appointment. They quoted a very reasonable price and got us an appointment very quickly. Service was excellent and they solved the problem. We have not had any issues since.

  • Went great. There was one wall that didn't cover the first time and he personally redid it that day. Didn't flinch when I asked him to do the room with the pull down stairs, spiral staircase and tiny tower room. Very professional. His guys are all happy to be at work, a pleasant experience overall. Would use again for certain.
