  • The visit at the clinic went well.  The attending nurse was fabulous as she asked more questions, offered more information, and investigated beyond my daugter's complaints with lab tests for strep/mon, etc..  The attending doctor was fine but we were really impressed with the nurse's level of thoroughness and care. The problem was not with the clinic visit but rather CIGNA Healthcare medical insurance.  The visit to the clinic was coded as a clinic visit, NOT emergency room, yet CIGNA took advantage of the fact that despite Brighton Medical being a combination hospital and first care clinic facility, they would charge me an emergency room deductible of $200, not the usual $50 first care clinic deductible.  Whether the facility was in plan or out of plan should not have mattered. All first care clinic visits are copay billed at $50. I verified with the facility that the proper insurance code for "first care clinic" was used on the bill as opposed to an emergency room insurance code and it was.  I view this as another attempt by an insurance company to screw someone out of what it right and just.  I filed an appeal back in June and have been waiting approximately 3 months and have not heard to date.  When inquiring about the appeal, I am told to continue to wait because the process takes atleast 90 days.

  • Have consistently found the agents in this office to be extremely personable, patient and able to thoroughly answer a myriad of questions. I was give a host of options to consider for reducing my premium without loss of required coverage. I also like their practice of calling you prior to when your policy is up for renewal to ask if you have any questions or require any assistance. The follow through is excellent, they do what they say they are going to do and in a very timely and efficient manner.

She is always extremely quick to respond, seeks out the best pricing for me, and on two occasions when I had problems with a very difficult insurance carrier, she helped me resolve the problem (and then find another insurance company). Cross has been my advocate and I can't praise them enough.

  • It's an agency.  They have a lot of different offices.  They do all kinds of insurances.  They've been really good because I can't think of anything that they've done wrong.  I've been dealing with them a lot lately.  Insurance companies are always looking at finding ways not to pay people so much, but they are in the middle of doing investigation right now to find out whose fault it is.  That worries me a little bit.

  • My son was involved in a rear-end accident in my car in early August in which the driver of the other car, who was at fault, had no insurance.  I had irresponsibly let my insurance lapse, but had reinstated it, luckily, the day before the accident, only to have Concord Insurance refuse to acknowledge coverage. To complicate matters, I was out of state at the time of my son’s accident.   Needless to say, this was a very difficult situation and I was unsure how to proceed. I was afraid I would not be covered at all. My agent, Brenda, at Cross Agency, made calls to the other driver and his former insurance company and agent, made numerous contacts to my carrier, Concord Insurance, was in constant contact with me by phone and email, explained what was happening and what actions I should take, and later advised me on filing a claim with the Bureau of Insurance, which led to Concord agreeing to cover me for the accident.   Brenda was incredible! She was sympathetic, helpful, attentive. During the time I needed her assistance, I felt as if I was her only client. She was always responsive and I knew that if there was a way for this to be resolved successfully, she was going to find it. I am happy to report that I’ve received checks for the full cost of repairing the damage from Concord Insurance, and I have successfully moved my insurance, including my homeowner’s insurance, to MMG with Brenda’s help.

  • There is a difference between an insurance agent and a risk manager. I wanted a risk manager and that is what Denise is. A risk manager that makes sure I don t spend too much for insurance I don t need nor that I spend too little and be under insured. A lot of fun to deal with one of the only times that insurance was fun! I was hit by another car and Denise with Clark & Associates promptly checked in with me to make sure the other insurance company was doing the right thing. I felt safe that Clark and Associates had my back.
