  • Insanely bad, Inquired about small job on thurs afternoon. chris (the OWNER) said he could do it on sat. so i followed my daughter to lou;s on fri afternoon to drop it off. this was about a 5 mile drive over some not to great roads. At 3:00 pm sat. I hadnt heard from him so I called, he said that they would be bringing it in shortly. 1/2 hr later, a different person called to inform me that there was a problem, while bringing the car into the shop the remainder of the exhaust system (the intermediate pipe and mufflers which were only a year old) had gotten hung up on something and was torn off. I was directed to call chris on Monday. ( why wouldnt "the OWNER" tell me this himself?) Monday morning I arrived at Lou's @ 8:00 am and was promptly told that the pipe must have been dragging (it was not) when I dropped the car off and it wasnt his fault and he wasnt going to do anything about it. I reminded him of my daughters uneventful drive to Lou;s at which point he became IRATE and I was told to leave the premises. Now I dont know if Lou's work is any good or not, but this was my experience @ Lou's if anyone is interested.

  • After someone backed into my fender, I made an appointment with Lockard's and they were great. They even noticed that the front bumper cover had some damage on the other side (unrelated to the accident) and called asking if I wanted to do that work at the same time (since they had to remove the front bumper to replace the fender anyway). I paid separately for that, and appreciate that they let me know it would save me quite a bit of labor to do both jobs at the same time. I highly recommend Lockard's!

  • The job went well...hit a few snags and took a little longer then they and us thought it wold...but they kept us in the loop on everything going on, and to be fair a couple of the snags were weather related due to 2 nor'easter back to back so understandable that they closed for the days, and one was a faulty part, but that happens in the mechanic world...but overall the price was more then fair, the customer service was great, they stayed withing the quote they gave me so it would be fair to say I would definitely go through them again and highly recommend them if you want good work at a reasonable price

  • We had the passenger side window replace, which had been shattered by a rock. The quote from Moody's was over twice that for a specialist glass shop but we chose Moody's because of the reputation and the confidence they gave us that they would thoroughly clean the glass shards from the surfaces and from console crevices etc. When we picked up the car, their was obvious glass on multiple visible surfaces. I have no idea how the quality of the window replacement is but clearly the person doing the replacement didn't care about the quality of the cleanup, which we specifically emphasized in our concerns. So am I going to cut myself when I reach under the seat or between the seat and back for a quarter? Or will glass shards in the console or in the door work their way into mechanical parts and cause failure? How can I be confident in the quality of the replacement? I talked to the manager about this and he was profusely apologetic and said they take the post-work survey seriously. Seriously? I said that the only protection we have as consumer's is to make these cases public. Again, he offered nothing but words of apology. Interestingly, the same day the rock was thrown through the window, we ordered 3 pizzas from Flatbread in North Conway. They noticed when they did the spot check that they goofed on one order and before I could even say "meh, no problem", the guy rushed back to have another pizza made which he gave us in addition to the goofed pizza in addition to taking off the price of the goofed pizza on our bill. This is how a shop keeps a loyal customer base. Not "I'm sorry" with absolutely no skin in the game to give me assurance that it will make any difference on future care about quality.

  • They were excellent. They’re lower than any other car dealer for sure. Another place was going to charge $110 for labor, Lex Connection was $65. They were very responsive. They couldn’t have been more professional, everybody there is effective, and they only work on Toyotas. Any kind of a Toyota or a truck, or a Lexus, my little Prius, they do it all; and they are really good.

  • They were wonderful! Speedy, honest, professional and friendly. Even though it was my first time there, they didn't try to scam me (as a woman) and do work that wasn't needed. Rather than replacing my whole muffler, they just took out the part of the pipe that was the real issue and replaced it. And the work a dealer said needed to be done they said is not necessary at this time. Autolab saved me a LOT of money and was a pleasure to work with!

  • Have had my Toyota Sienna Van serviced there for the last several years. Outstanding customer service, honesty and work ethic. The only drawback is they only work on Toyota brands or they would be swamped with business.

  • I did have a problem, I was $50.00 short in my checking account and they "the owner, Aaron" said he would offer me the job at what I could afford. That made my day! I have a sticker and a safe car. Down the road I can finish the stuff that was pointed out at the inspection as passing for now. (I don't know if that's right to mention?) But I did see the work that I will be facing either this year of when I get my next sticker. It was a great experience because It's important for me to see what needs to be fixed and have it fixed!

  • what we had done that particular day, but also that we have been there many times in the past and have already felt his prices to be very reasonable. I just want to take the specific price out because it occurred to me that perhaps it would be unfair to SR to say we got all this for a specific price which might raise expectations with future customers under different circumstances.
