Good! This dentist replaced a broken crown earlier in the year and I am very happy with both the process and the work.  Not inexpensive but definitely worth it.

    Musciano, Dr. Frank A.
The first thing is that he is meticulous; he will remake something at his own cost until he's satisfied. He's a very nice and caring person. He asks how you're feeling, he doesn't wait for you to show it. He always offers alternatives and lets you know what will happen.

    Saltz, Dr. Barry C.
I have used Dr. Saltz for years and he is fabulous. I am very fond of him since he is very funny. He is very good at what he does. I have had a lot of stuff done on my teeth. I have to tell him to stop trying to make me laugh while he giving me the Novocain. He is really good at putting people at ease.

They did a temporary replacement of the crown. I have to go back in a week to get the permanent put in. So, it is not done yet. They have a beautiful office. I have to wait for a while there. Their bedside manner is very good and their communication is wonderful. Their treatment is very effective. They have been my dentist for years.

my check-up went as expected---and quot;look mom no cavitiesand quot;--xrays and cleaning were completed to my complete satisfaction--they also clean and inspect my night guard each visit as a courtesy--a gum measurement procedure is always completed to ensure my overall mouth health--after the flouride treatment....i'm good to go!

    Saltz, Dr. Barry C.
I highly recommend Dr. Barry.  Our whole family goes (4-year old through 65-year old) and we all love him.  Very personable and funny, good communicator, highly skilled, and calls us at home after crowns, etc. to make sure all is well.  Having previous dentists who were not as skilled...the difference is clear to us.  Dr. Barry has responded quickly to the few emergencies we have had.  He also does service work in  the community...good guy.

I selected this practice based on the reviews on this site and I have been really happy with my experience. I called for an appointment with Dr. Burke and was seen within a couple of days of my phone call. Upon arrival, I was greeted by my first name by the receptionist who checked me in. The waiting room is very comfortable and nice (as other reviewers have noted, they have iPads for clients to use while wanting). I don't think I waited more than a few minutes before Dr. Burke himself came to get me. We started off in a conference room with his assistant. I really appreciated that we first discussed my concerns, both short and long term, before getting into the dentist's chair. Dr. Burke and his assistant instantly made me feel at ease (and I'm generally very apprehensive during visits to the dentist). We moved on to the initial exam and x-rays. Dr. Burke explained everything he was checking and I learned a lot about my dental health during this visit that no other dentist had taken the time to explain to me. Dr. Burke and his assistant always first asked if I had any questions before proceeding. I also really liked that Dr. Burke was interested in learning about my overall health, not just the inside of my mouth. I especially appreciated that I did not feel rushed during the visit. Photos and x-rays were taken and Dr. Burke went through all of the images with me explaining what he saw. Then, Dr. Burke and I again discussed treatment options, the order of procedures and a timeline that I was comfortable with. During my cleaning, which was also scheduled within a couple of days from when I called, the dental hygienist was very nice and super gentle. I actually felt relaxed in the chair - a first for me! I also liked that she took my blood pressure and asked if I had any health concerns before she started. I was happy to see that the entire practice outlook focuses on general health. I was offered the optional fluoride treatment and the cost was disclosed up front ($25). Although I chose to get it, that was my own decision and I didn?t feel any pressure either way. Dr. Burke also made sure to come see me after my cleaning to check in and follow up on some questions. The receptionists are both very welcoming and knowledgeable about cost and what to expect from insurance coverage, etc. The practice has up-to-date equipment and technology. Overall, I am very happy with the practice and the quality of care I am receiving.

Service and environment were great.  Cost was more than my insurance covered for services, but the office staff was very accurate in calculating my final cost so there were no surprises.

    DeRice, Dr. Robert A.
I made an appointment, they fit me right in, and I even found that one of my other dentist's staff now worked as one of Dr. DeRice's dental assistant! Dr. DeRice is very professional without being and quot;stodgeyand quot; and has a great way of explaining the options, the proceedure, and everything along the way. Even though he's an avid Yankees fan, he's great! I was also impressed with the technology and up dated equipment they used, that they could do the root canal, and the crown (usually a 2-visit routine) in one appointment with their new methods. The crown was a better product/method, quicker, easier (they make it in-house while you're there, fit it with computer aided imagery so it fits perfectly the first time) and it's the same price as old-school technology! All the staff I met at the office were very friendly and professional...terrific!!!

See above.  I had big plans for the weekend and needed to look and feel my best.  Thank goodness they were willing to come in to the office on an day off to help me out.
