They are around the corner from my house. She has an open area where they play as well as a living room where they can stay and get out of the pens. She is able to give medication without extra charge. I take my dogs food and toys when I bring her over. The pricing is fair compared some other places that charge for every pill given and other things.

I've taken all our dogs here since 1995. This visit was a shot update. They gave her a physical and then gave her, her needed shots.
They are always kind and polite to both my dogs and me. They give me a choice of small animal vets, they also do equine and large animals, and are able to get us in at a reasonable length of time.
When one of the dogs had major health issues, they were sure to forward information to Lewiston Emergency Clinic in case she had major problems over the weekend. After her weekend issues, the emergency clinic updated my vet on they handled her treatments.
When one of my dogs had cancer, the vet was honest with me and told me I could give her chemotherapy, but that many of his patient's owners that did chemo said, and quot;I'm glad I did it, but I'll never do it again.and quot; It helped me decide how to handle her cancer. It also made me feel like I wasn't being pressured to spend major dollars to fill their coffers.
When she had to be put to sleep, I was concerned that our younger dog, who was always nervous going to the vet, would become a major problem to get to the vet again, if she came to be with the older dog when she was put down. Therefore, we went into the horse barn to put the older one down. The younger one realized what was going on, but was also distracted by the smells there. I thought it was a great solution.
My son has changed from his previous vet to Annabessacook because he is able to get his dog in more quickly and the prices are more reasonable than his previous big city vet.

Dr. Mark Mason walked in the room and said well, what's going on? I replied that over the last few months our dog had had 3 pancreatic attacks. He, YELLED at me HOW DO YOU KNOW? I couldn't believe he hadn't at least briefly looked at all the records that were sent to him prior to our visit. I went on to explain and then told him her most recent blood test came back with cancer cells in it. I wanted to know what kind of cancer. He told me that unless I was willing to send $5000 for chemo, it was a waste of time. He then felt her abdominal area and informed me she had gall bladder cancer. Then he took her for a ultrasound. Upon his return, he told me he couldn't find any place that had cancer. Then we left. My former vet walking partner (who had moved out of state) had recommended we see him because he had a deeper level of ultrasound. I will not go back again to someone who was yelled at me for dr diagnosed illnesses. I just hope she was gentle with her. When I returned to my vet, the tech's told me they weren't surprised with my experience.- iNeedless to say, it was an experience I have long remembered.
