The outpatient surgery went very well - my eye is healing and once it is healed they will perform the Express Shunt on the other eye. EVERYONE was really nice, down-to-earth and professional.

Everything went very well. I have had both eyes done now and am eagerly waiting for new glasses that will make me very happy. Instead of having me wait for the next 3 weeks, Dr. Rudloe gave me a prescription so that I can get my progressive bifocals sooner. The eyes seem stable enough to go this step. I cannot say enough about Dr. Isaac Rudloe. He is new at Coastal Eye Care, but he did a wonderful job, was caring as well as informative and more than willing to work with us. The staff at Coastal Eye Care are nice and helpful

Of course my diagnosis was very disappointing but I liked Dr. Moulton and trusted his diagnosis. He was very forthcoming, which I liked. He and his father are in practice together.

The appointment was preset from last September. We arrived 15 minutes prior to the appointment for 11am. My husband was taken in at 10:55 to have his history reviewed and his glasses prescribtion checked by the nurse. There was a very short wait time between being seen by the nurse and Dr. Kohler entering the exam room. The exam went well. The testing found the eye pressured had dropped a little. Dr. Kohler explaned everything that he was doing and went over the options for more accurate testing and the worst case senerio. He was open to questions and very good manner. The check out went easy and the office staff is very pleasant and easy to work with.

The reason I can see to type this is the skill of Dr. Steve Witkin and his staff. Each visit begins with a screening, proceeds to a scan and an examination by Dr. Witkin. At one point, with my left eye beyond repair from the first and quite massive bleed, I began to lose my right eye. Dr. Witkin was able to save and stabilize that eye so that I still have 20:20 vision with my glasses. Dr. Witkin is extraordinarily caring and his staff - Marylou, Shannon, Linn et al - are friendly and highly skilled.

I saw Dr. Wilbanks for my cataract surgery. The whole office is wonderful. Punctual, safe and caring. Dr. Wilbanks is amazing. He listens to what you say, answers every bit of your questions and lets you have input, too. Eye surgery is scary and while this surgery may be routine, to you it isn't. The staff realize that and communicate every step of the way. The surgery went without a hitch. Dr. Wilbanks phoned later in the evening to make sure I was doing okay. Next day I went in for a follow up exam. He is funny and very thorough. He is a bit of a geek, but I appreciate that in my doctors! I even got a letter that says I don't have to wear glasses to drive anymore. First time without glasses since 4th grade!

My husband is completely satisfied. He is very happy with his new glasses. She had come out earlier and met with us and talked to us. We wanted to know if we could come there for our routine stuff. My husband made an appointment with her. I will probably go to her.

My overall experience has always been positive. However, other patients have forgotten their insurance cards or other paperwork that has caused a brief delay at check-in. Don't forget this paperwork. The entire facility is handicap accessible and the waiting room has some larger chairs for those folks of greater than average girth. This provider seems to be concerned that all patients are comfortable during their visit. Parking is very good and the office is on the ground floor close to the main entrance to the building.
