    Miranda Hinkley LMT
After the first massage Miranda gave me clear expectations of how I would feel and some stretches to ensure the pain doesn't come back. I continued to come weekly and am happy to say I now do not have any pain in my lower back.

    Van Duijn, Christina M.
Massage therapist Christina van Duijn, M.A., LMT is well-trained and very adept. She is professional and friendly and communicates well. She is a good listener. I always enjoy and benefit from her treatments. Her office, which she shares with two other massage therapists. is only five minutes from my house. It is in a nice building, and the treatment rooms are clean, comfortable, and attractive. If you wish, you may listen to quiet music while Ms. Van Duijn does the massage. The table on which the patient lies is heated from the inside--a great feature on cold winter days. You warm up quickly. My most recent experience--I am booked for my next massage this afternoon--was excellent, as all the previous experiences have been. This is a person who really knows what she's doing. I can relax immediately and thereby receive the full benefit of her treatment.

    Essentials Masssage Therapy Belfast
The massage room is in the same building as Lisa Nichols Hair Salon, which salon, incidentally, is equally professional and well managed. The room itself is quiet, muted, large enough to feel uncrowded, but not so large that you feel exposed or vulnerable - nicely sized. The table itself is always warm and comfy. They offer various services, and various kinds of massage. Anywhere from 1/2 hour to 1 1/2 hour. Hot stone massage, sports, deep tissue, etc.

Avalon School of Massage & Serenity Spa
Good, very relaxing. I thought they were alittle pricey for the area, and a school. But I would go back.

    Tina Falasco
She is effective. I have been to other ones and it just didn't work. I've been in a lot of accidents and she worked. She is a one-man band.

    Massage Envy - South Portland
I believe my therapist was named Kim, and she was very nice. She definitely knew what she was doing and I had an enjoyable massage, sadly the results didn't stay for more than an hour, so the money I spent was near-useless. The actual office was very clean, but I did not like that I was put in a waiting room for a massage. I understand that individuals do not like to be rushed during their massages, but likewise I had a busy schedule and did not want to wait for mine. For the amount of money I paid, I expected a punctual, full hour massage, instead I received only 45 minutes, which was definitely disappointing. There was a pretty bad upsell on the way out, I just told the staff I was from out of town to get out of the spiel, if you're not looking for a yearly membership, just tell them you're from out of town and they'll ease off. Overall the massage experience was nice, I would probably come back as it was a nice environment, but I hope next time will be a little better than my initial experience.
