  • Michael was professional and kept everything organized and clean. He explained what he was doing and options for solving any problems. We are excited to try Baker Brothers for the service contract for our heating and air also. It was not possible to determine the make of the cartridge for replacement. Michael took a picture, sent it back to support. An up to date replacement was located in stock at a nearby plumbing supply. Within the hour it was in and we were testing and setting the temperature controls.

  • Considering the amount of work involved (labor costs) we made the decision to demolish the existing structure. The house was not sound nor was it secured to the foundation. The foundation itself was in good shape. Glenn and his crew were amazing to work with. Glenn kept us appraised of the building progress for each step as well as costs involved. The Halldale crew, plumber and electrician were expert in their work as well as reasonable with cost. Keniston's Tile from Bangor did a truly beautiful job on the bathroom! We are now the excited proud owners of a beautiful home in Lincolnville. We are truly impressed with Glenn,s work ethic, job knowledge and expertise! Thank you Glenn!

  • Solartechnic Contractors Inc are just excellent in everything they do. They know what they are doing. They did a really good job for me and they are like building solar panels, in the state of Maine they are the main primary contractors and market leader.

  • They are a young local business, so there has been a learning curve, but they are always extremely responsive and stand by their products and their installations. They provide thoughtful and thorough analysis and advice before making a recommendation on appropriate systems. I have recommended them to others, and would not hesitate to use them again in the future.

  • Installation was fine - but when motor stopped working, I got the run around - he check it said it was fine - rechecked it and agreed it was not working, said he'd order part - never did, didn't return calls.

  • They did good work, but I also had that kind of feeling that they'll take advantage of me if I didn't know exactly what was really wrong. They would kind of be in that middle ground where I would be hesitant to use them, but if I had an emergency I would do it because I have to have somebody come in because they sort of misdiagnosed something on my heat pump once too. It was going to cost me $800, but it ended up costing me $200 when I had my nephew, who's a cooling and heating student, come and see if he could figure it out. They were going to charge me for a whole panel, but he came in and said that he noticed that my orifices needed cleaning, so he cleaned them and it worked fine. They have a good reputation around town, but that kind of bummed me out and I don't know if I could use them again. The first couple of things they did for me I thought were okay. I knew a little bit about the issue that was going on, so when they started going down this other road I got paranoid and did a double check and found out that I didn't need what they were trying to sell me, so I got a little bit nervous about them. When they came in they decided that my circuit board was bad and that was causing it to misfire which was going to cost me $800 for the part. I had something stuck in the back of my mind that we had this misfire issue before because of something with condensation. This was a backup furnace, I called my nephew, and it turned out that my orifices had become corroded and just needed to be wire brushed off so the gas could flow again. I just paid my nephew a couple of hundred bucks and so after that I was like could I really trust them, but I don't know. I didn't feel like the guy was gouging me, but maybe he was just not smart and went for the easiest thing or whatever. I suppose in the end when he put the new part in and it still wasn't working then we would have eventually had found the problem, but in the meantime it was going to be a lot of hassle and a lot of stress for me because I really didn't have that kind of money. Now I'd be a little more careful when I have them out to do anything else. I guess I'd have them out for regular maintenance, but not any service work. I'll call my nephew again, but their actual maintenance is fine and reasonable.

  • He is really good. It is a hysterical little store, but he always has the part and it's always cheap. I think they do installation and they carry all of the equipment, but mostly I just go in there for parts because I already have my system. He's a really good guy. His demeanor is a little bit odd, but he's really cool once you get to know him. He doesn't use a lot of words, but he knows his business and has been doing it forever. If you're not put off by him then you'll probably get a little bit above the amount of service that you're even expecting, but you have to be able to get pass his sort of abrupt mannerism. He's old, so he's earned it. He replaced my wand and could have just told me that it was broken and sold me a $200 part, but he didn't and I thought that was awesome.

  • We've used them for probably 10 years and I absolutely love these guys. They are the only ones that I found in the area who could service and maintain my pump which pumps water out of the lake to run my sprinklers. I went on a search last year just asking questions and I also went down the list on Angie's List trying to find anybody who could work on them. I gave another company a shot at it, but they couldn't figure it out. I went back to Simply Green because I knew they were the ones that put the pump in. I don't know why my husband stopped using them because they were great. The scheduling was a little bit sketchy and I think they were late a couple of times. They showed up and I pretty sure they called, but it was just the waiting. It wasn't perfect, but I didn't care because I was so desperate to find anybody that could work on the pump that it didn't really matter. They also did a couple of extra things for no charge, so I was satisfied.

  • They're always good and punctual. The chemicals they use are good because they're basically kid and pet friendly. They always call and they are always here when they say they're going to be. I don't have the typical did they do the treatments or not issues because you can always tell that they did. They have stood by a guarantee that if you're not satisfied you call them and they come back out to retreat with no questions asked. I think I've been with them for six years now. There's never been an issue whatsoever and they just do it. I would recommend them. A lot of times with these kinds of services you really do wonder sometimes, especially if it's a heavy bug season, if they really came out because you're not at home, you don't know, and you can't necessarily see the granules or whatever. You can always pretty much tell that Moxie's been there, but even if you decide that they didn't do it you could call them up and say that you want a retreat. You don't have to explain or say anything else. They will literally schedule it then and be out again, so you never have to worry about whether you're getting ripped off or not. Their customer service is really good. They always answer their phones and they show up. I like them.

  • Their sprinkler work was fine. I think I'm probably 70% satisfied with the work they did on the lawn. They had to do the work while I wasn't here, so it all came down to communication. My impression of what they were going to do and what they did was not the same. I walked the perimeter of the ground where they were going to work on and they did not cover it. I walked with one person and I think somebody else came out and obviously something got lost in the communication. They were really nice, their customer service was fine, and I suppose I could have called them. I'm sure they would've came back out, but at that point I got tired of having to call back. I wouldn't use them for the lawn stuff anymore. I probably would not use them for my sprinklers because I have a special circumstance that they were upfront about and that they didn't have experience with, so I need to continue to find a service that can handle it. I have a pump that pumps out of the lake behind me and they are not familiar with the system. They were really good for your basic lawn maintenance and I have no complaints really about it. It was just my circumstances were a little bit specialized. They were punctual and very friendly. If there were any issues they always resolved them and I didn't have any real problem with that. I needed somebody who could work on that pump and they did not have that expertise. I would recommend them for sprinklers to anyone else because it was just the pump that was the problem.
