  • Very well. Victoria is reliable, professional, stands by her work. Checks to see that client is pleased with her work. Goes the extra mile to accommodate wishes of the client. I would hire her in an instant for any further work I might have. She is personable, approachable, a pleasure to have around. Cannot recommend her highly enough.

  • Fantastic! He and his team showed up when they said they would and were meticulous in their attention to detail. The house is gorgeous and, more importantly, safe from the weather for a good long time. Also, felt completely comfortable having him there when we were not - he even helped us out by letting folks for other work we were having done. Bonus: Jev sends a detailed daily report on his progress along with pictures!! Very unexpected but so welcome.

  • There was a miscommunication from the start. Victoria's recollection of the conversation we had when we discussed the job is very different from my recollection. She bid on about 1/2 of what I thought we had agreed to. Her "contract" is an email with a photograph of the job. Once she pointed out the photograph she had sent in the email, I couldn't argue with her, so I agreed to continue. At this point, the conversation was civil, although I was upset about the misunderstanding, and I let her know, very politely. When she first arrived to paint, I wasn't home, and my wife went outside to make sure we were all clear on what Victoria would be doing. My wife politely asked her to explain things to her. Victoria turned to her helper and said, "Oh boy, here we go. Rude and unprofessional. Later that day, she and her assistant were having a loud conversation about personal issues that we did not want to hear. Since they were working right behind where my wife sit and work, we could hear everything, and we asked them politely to speak more quietly and change the subject, which they did. On the last day, I went outside to inspect the work. There was one panel she had not painted, so I asked about it. She said she had not bid on it, which upset me, so I told her I would not discuss it further and walked away. All she wanted to do was repeat the conversation we had the first day. I looked at the picture in her "email contract" and the unpainted panel is in the picture of the proposed work. Since she used that on the first day as "proof" of her bid, I figured she couldn't back out of it. She then insisted she had clarified with me twice what the job was and that panel was not included. By this time, we were speaking angrily to each other, and she got in my face and said her mind is a trap and she remembers everything. I don't claim my mind is a trap, but I have a good memory, and many of the things she said were far different from what I remembered. She angrily agreed to take $200 off the price, which I accepted, even though the unpainted panel was worth a lot more than that. I paid her, and she finished up, muttering to herself unpleasant things I couldn't completely hear. Bottom line: Victoria seems to do good work, but I don't recommend her because of her unprofessional attitude and responses. She feels everything she says is right, and everything I say is wrong: not the way to treat customers.

  • It's been a good experience and it was a good quote. We asked them to do a couple of extra things too like floor board a room and put a back door on. So we just paid for them as we asked for them. There's been no surprises, his quote was right on his workers have been great, the cleanup has been super and excellent work. The owner has been here on site everyday doing the heavy construction, he's like the carpenter. He's here everyday, he checks in with you in the morning to see how things are, to see if you have seen any issues, if you had any questions about the prior day and when they're leaving he checks in to tel you approximately what time he's going to be there the next day and how many people are going to be with him. He keeps you updated on everything. All his workers are very congenial, they get right to work and there's no rude language or anything like that. So we've been completely satisfied. In fact our neighbors called in and they said they have been seeing our house that it's being worked on and they wanted to know who was doing it, and were we happy because they could see how much work they were doing. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. He's an all around good guy. He did the roof, he did the windows, he did the siding and he did the trim.

  • I think the price was fair. We were going to go out and get a professional painter. He stepped forward and said, "If you want and will have me for my work, I will certainly take the painting job." We have had experiences in the past with Benjamin Moore's paint which is not the paint that he would use so he gave us the good price because he said, "Well you can get your own paint and you've already decided on your colors, fine." So we went with that paint because we've had a good experience with Benjamin Moore. He had one quote and we told him we've already picked out our colors and he said, "OK well I'll drop down because I don't have to buy the product." So he just dealt with us very well. We added the wall boarding of the room and the door, and those were outside the original quote and contract. We asked him how much he charges for that and the next day he made sure he came back with paperwork that he signed and leased on. He writes "Paid In Full" when you pay the whole thing because we paid him for the board and the door separately. So he notes that. He gives you a copy of the quote and writes that you have put the deposit down and then if you pay in full he writes, "Paid In Full" across the contract. And he is fully insured and he asks you to make sure that you call his insurance company so you can know that he is fully insured.

  • From my first contact with Certapro's rep Teunis to the last bit of clean up, I couldn't have been more pleased. CertaPro's crew showed up, led by Gloria who immediately scoped out the situation, went over what we wanted done, pointed out a few problems areas, explained how they would be dealt with, and then the crew went right to work. The first day the house was power washed and the carpentry work was done, quickly and professionally by crew member Tommy. They returned bright and early the next day and worked diligently all day. Gloria came by everyday to make sure things were progressing the way they should, to point out things that needed to be corrected and to ensure satisfaction. Her presence was almost not needed as the crew Tommy, Mike, Kevin and Pedro were all capable and needed minimal direction. It was comforting to know that Gloria was there to handle any problems that could occur and to make suggestions based on her experience. The job was finished earlier than we anticipated. Because of wet weather concerns, Pedro stayed until dark to paint one side of the house, because rain was forecast for the next day. he returned at 7:00 AM the next morning to get a head start, in case of rain. it didn't rain, and the job was finished ahead of schedule. Gloria had our shed painted to match the house, which was not in the contract, and done just to make things look better. She replaced an outdated doorknob with a more modern one as a throw-in to make the door look better. It did. I couldn't have been more pleased with Teunis, Tracy and especially Gloria and her crew who did the hardest work. Her goal of making the customer satisfied was more than accomplished at my home. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend CertaPro to anyone that needs a professional, competent team of painter and workman.

  • Bill and his crew are punctual, conscientious, and intent on doing the job correctly.  We had a lot of rain for this two week period.  QHI did not rush to finish the job, they waited several days to make sure that the clapboard was dry before repairing and painting.  The quality of the work is excellent and I will be using Quality Home Improvement again

  • My wife and I needed to have painters come out to our house fast. We heard about CertaPro through a friend, and called them the next day. The day after, we had an appointment with a sales associate to come out to our home and give us an estimate. The salesmen was very friendly and addressed all of our concerns during the appointment. After discussing it with my wife, we decided to go forward with CertaPro and sign the proposal. Knowing that we had a time crunch, CertaPro sent a Job Site Supervisor to our home the following week to begin painting. We were both shocked on how quickly they started our home! The painting went very smoothly and it turned out wonderfu!. The job site supervisor was on always on time and very polite. The communication between both the office, job site supervisor and myself was outstanding. We were thrilled with the end result and would recommend CertaPro to anybody!!

  • This job was performed in an outstanding manner from start to finish! I had called five companies for estimates and Clark Painting got back to me immediately. An appointment was made for an estimate and Scott showed up exactly when he said he would. I had a complete estimate within 3 days as well as references. After checking references and comparing costs I awarded the job to Clarke. They began the job exactly when they said they would! The crew was professional and courteous. Their attention to detail was outstanding, I was extremely impressed with the amount of prep work that was done to make sure all surfaces were properly sanded and caulked before the painting was done. Each day they cleaned up before they left and I was kept informed of the work being done and what they would be doing the next day. At the completion of the job Scott did a walk through to insure everything was done as promised. I couldn't have been more satisfied and would recommend Clarke to anyone!
