    Ruck Roofing
Ruck Roofing has re-roofed a house, a barn and repaired the roof on another property. They know roofs - even challenging ones! Bill Ruck and his crew are fair, prompt, friendly, polite and meticulously clean up their site. They will be re-roofing another property for me this spring.

    CARON ROOFING & CONSTRUCTION
Justin and his crew did a tear off and re-roof of our home in Kennebunk on Wednesday 6/1/2016.  I've got nothing but great things to say.  Throughout the process (quoting, discussing the work, negotiating price, setting the work date, etc) Justin responded quickly to phone calls, emails, and text messages.  He even accommodated a different work date (Wednesday instead of Tuesday) with less than a weeks notice.
Justin and crew also agreed to replace some additional trim / fascia board that was outside the scope of what we originally agreed to (I provided the PVC trim material).  I was home all day during the job, and did help the crew by tracing / cutting the new trim and passing it up to the crew on the roof.  This probably sped things up a bit and allowed the crew to wrap up a bit sooner.  I am so pleased to have BOTH the roof and the PVC trim done in the same day.
Long story short, the crew banged out my roof (12 square, basic split level with a 12/7 'walkable' pitch, two layers of existing shingles) in just under 5 hours. That's cranking! Their 'Equiptor' roofers buggy (basically a dump trailer on a scissor lift that raises to roof height, allowing the crew to shovel debris right into the hopper) really helps minimize the mess associated with a roof tear off.  There was an extra $350 'disposal' charge due to the fact that two layers of shingles needed to be removed (instead of the expected one layer).  I would definitely recommend Justin and his crew - great experience!

    Secure Roofing
They stripped the roof and loaded all the old shingles in a dumpster. They completely cleaned up all the trash and shingles. Micheal and his crew were outstanding. I would highly recommend this company to do roofing work in the future.

    Marshall Home Pros
Fantastic service! Devin responded to my call for help immediately and removed ice dams with a steam machine. Repair and prevention work was scheduled right away. Work he and his crew performed was outstanding. High quality. Very professional. My highest recommendation. Marshall Home Pros is on my speed dial for any and all future home work.

    BROOKS ROOFING
I had water pouring into my living room from ice dams on my roof.  I called Brooks at  6:30 A.M., and they called me back within the hour, and were at my place half an hour later.  They gave me an estimate of $150, which is exactly what the bill was.  They did an excellent and thorough job.  I will have them back sometime for an assessment of my old roof, and would use them if/when I need a new one.

    A-1 Seamless Gutters Inc
The owner was friendly, courteous, and professional.  He went the extra mile to arrange a time/day for us that was most convenient. The crew members arrived on time and were likewise friendly and professional. Best of all they took the extra time to go around the house once more before starting so we could address concerns and fine-tune the installation to our drainage needs.  The downspouts extend a good distance away from the foundation to prevent water from going into the basement. On the back of the house, the crew did a very precise job of cutting a hole through the deck for a downspout, then made sure it extended out as far we needed it.  It was perfect!  I've hired guys who called themselves carpenters who didn't do work as neatly as the A+ crew.   We got 3 estimates for this job. The other 2 companies offered materials and workmanship of lesser quality. Both of them said they wouldn't be able to put the deck downspout in the place and length we wanted it.   A+ was very reasonable for the quality and scope of the work.  I would gladly hire them again and recommend them highly.

    Ruck Roofing
Was a complicated job that requires approx 2 extra days to complete due to removal of White Cedar shingles originally on roof.  Ruck Roofing waited for the ideal weather pattern to ensure job could be completed with minimal risk of exposure to weather.  Once we got the right stretch of weather forecast, Ruck's crew worked efficiently and professionally to complete the job.  They were very courteous and made sure to ask instead of assuming regarding start times in the morning etc.  There were some custom features such as a barrel dormer that required a very experienced touch to execute a quality job and they did it very well.

    Ruck Roofing
Overall job went great. Given our house size (2 story Cape Cod style with 2-car garage and adjoining breezeway, the job was split into two days  - main house one day, garage and breezeway the next day. Crews and supplies were very punctual starting day 1 around 8:00am and day 2 around 7:30am. A crew of 5-7 were on site for the two days. Owner Bill Ruck initially supervised material delivery and got things moving the morning of day 1 and returned for final review and clean-up on day 2. He remained availabel via phone call if needed, which was not the case. His crew worked well together knowing exactly what needed to be done and literally worked their tails off for two days, barely taking breaks other than for hydration and lunch. They worked hard and produced an outstanding result for which my family and I are very pleased (and thankful). I strongly recommend Ruck Roofing. I did not include the price but felt it was competitive and fair for the quality of materials used and installation labor. Additionally, a full warranty from GAF and Ruck Roofing was provided.

    Generation General Contractring
Great. The best thing about David is the enthusiasm he has for his work. And it in shows in the quality. He listens to what you have to say and responds thoughtfully keeping your particular concerns (like budget or authenticity) in mind. He works with his son. Together they get the job done when they say it will be done and at the price they gave you.

    Patterson Construction
I was very pleased with the work that he did here.  I had one storey addition which I ripped off and I built a 20*20 feet addition on my second storey.  It is a gamble side house and they carried roof line across the front gamble style and put dormer windows to match the existing dormers on the original part of the house.  They put whole new siding on the addition and also did the whole addition roof and main roof of my house.  I had all new windows upstairs in my house. They also had to do garage as I had to have reinforced beam.  I wouldn’t use them again because they didn’t finish and left me with a lot of projects and I had to hire a lot of extra people to finish.  I wouldn’t recommend them.  They did good work when they were here.  They were pleasant to work with but left me.  I think they moved out of town and I have no idea where they are.  I called him and he never returned my call so I hired somebody else and it took me a year to get all of the work done.  He is a nice guy but just left me so I am a little upset about that.  The guy’s name is Thomas Patterson Jr.  He was living in a house and I had been there but he wasn’t there.  He did off more than you can chew.  He tried doing the addition and I got him do the porch and that’s when he started taking off and doing others jobs and coming back.  I had to pay for supplies and I gave them money to finish under the porch; they came back and did one day’s work and then I never saw them.  He told me its $22000 for the addition and had to do $2000 worth of work in the garage for support beams and that was fine.  For the porch it was $13000 and that was fine.  When he was doing big jobs he was here all the time.  When I asked him to do something in the house he never argued with me and did what I wanted him to do and took me out of a lunch a couple of times and paid for my lunch.  I like the guy.  He got me the building permits to do the addition and do the porch and I don’t get along with one of the officer in the town and if it hasn’t been for Tommy I never would have got this work done.
