    His staff is professional. Both my kids used him for their braces. He broke up the cost of the work by monthly payments so you don't have to be financed or pay in full. I think that is something really terrific. Insurance covers some, but there is a lot of out of pocket cost for braces. He was really good about those out of pocket costs.

    He is going to be retiring soon so I don't think he is taking new patients. It's been a couple years since my son has had his braces off. Dr. Harris is very nice and has a nice personality. He is very good with kids and adults. I had braces with him too. He's really nice. My entire family has used Dr. Harris except for my youngest son because Dr. Harris isn't seeing new patients.

    They have been great through the whole process. Dr. Miller did a great job and made my daughter sign a piece of paper stating she wouldn't eat hard candy. The front office did a great job with the insurance and made sure they kept me updated on what they were willing to pay.

    I had ortho in childhood and never wore my retainer, my teeth started to crowd due to not wearing my retainers and my wisom teeth coming in. I have since had my wisdom teeth removed and decided to do something to correct the crowding of my teeth. Invisalign treatment was just what I was looking for, I didn't have to deal with metal braces again, these were clear and you can take them on and off, making it easy to keep your teeth clean. The treatment was only over the course of a year and my teeth looked great!

    He has a legion of followers that are 12-17 years old.  We are very happy with his work. He is quite meticulous and is very pleasant.  His staff is unbelievable.  If anything bad happens with the elastics or the metal, you are in the next day. He is a very, very nice man.

    The dental assistants that perform the cleanings are pretty good with the kids. Dentists are also very nice and take time with the parents. When the dentist referred me to the oral surgeon, they sent the wrong records! I was at the oral surgeons office waiting because they sent records for a and quot;Carlosand quot; instead of my daughter....ironically my daughters Xray was in there, but with the wrong name attached. I worry about that. Front office staff is and quot;okayand quot; but aren't overly excited about any new patients and don't offer much flexibility if you need to move your appointment date.

    Dr Z did a great job explaining what options we had available, but in the end the price differential was too great a hurdle for us versus our local dentist. Of course, braces take a long time and further expenses can be incurred along the way, especially if the treatment is poor and the timeframe extended as a result. With that said, it is difficult to confirm if Dr Z would have ended up costing less in the long run if his treatment had ended up being better/shorter. Because we asked for an appointment on short notice, I'm not sure if I caused some problems for the staff or not, but I can say that I definitely didn't get a warm feeling in the office. Now that I think about it, that was because no one smiled. I think it fair to expect some smiles, especially when young patients are involved, regardless of any extra stress we may have caused. They could have just said "no" and we wouldn't have gone there as a potential customer - once you say "yes" to an appointment, I think you need to grin (smile) and bear it. So, I have to say that definitely turned me off as much or more than the price differential, even while admitting that everyone can have a bad day once in a while. I can't say how they are over time as I didn't choose to have my son become a repeat patient.

    I've had McConathy for about ten years as a dentist after the retirement of my former dentist. Evan Issokson. All of Issokson's patients were transferred to mcConathy. I have had to have 1 crown recemented 3 times in two years. When I asked if it were free of charge because it wouldn't stay cemented, I was told by McConathy that it wouldn't stay because the tooth was decaying. I'm no dentist but the crown is for one of my upper front teeth and I know that the tooth in question is not decaying. I asked if the tooth was decaying why wasn't that taken care of before the crown was recemented? McConathy didn't like this question and it seemed she was more distant than before in our patient-Dentist relationship.During one of the last visits I had she asked me to bite down and when Idid, I bit her finger. She asked me why I bit her and I told her she told me to bite down, she denied saying it and said she was talking to the assistant. At that point I lost any trust I had in her, that's why I had to change dentist's. I'm currently unemployed and she knew this. After 10 years of my business I thought she could have given me some type of discount. I've always paid my bills on time and have had a friendly relationship with Mcconathy and the entire staff. The way I was treated by mcConathy in those last visits I felt like I was public enemy #1.
