    Raleigh Hills Automotive
I made an appointment over the phone, fast and easy.  I dropped my car off early on the day of my appointment and used their night drop box.  I received a call from Raleigh Hills about two hours later with a summary of what was wrong, an explanation of the work that needed to be done and an estimate.  I did a little research and the estimate was in line with or cheaper than what others had paid for similar work.  I gave the go-ahead and my car was ready to be picked up early that afternoon (at $3 less than the estimated cost).  The folks I talked to on the phone were polite and friendly, willing to answer my questions. The entire experience was pleasant, which I do  not often say when speaking about car repairs.

The Happy Wallet Quality Auto Repair LLC
Usually fairly dealt with and good workmanship.  That's why I go back to them.  They respond to my needs and they do what they say what they're going to do.  The quality of their work, overall I am just comfortable with them.

    Mr Tire & Co
These people are always responsive and work hard to get the work done promptly and correctly. This is only the latest of many visits to them and I can't remember ever being disappointed.

Good n You Fuel & Service
Unaware of the error, the car was driven a short distance until the engine stopped running. After discussions and research, the car had to be towed to a qualified dealer in Portland who was able to correct the situation without irrevocable permanent damage to the car.   My cost was around $800. Owner of Good and You refused any responsibility.   Said something about needing to hire young people in the summer.   Said if I had returned car to his shop, he would have "dropped tank" and drained it.   My discussions with 3 regional dealers and the Toyota (New England Area) Service Advisor who happened to be working in this area at the time, all indicated this car's tank could not  be "dropped" and needed to be drained in a different manner (that would not have been possible at the Good and You location.  And then it needed to be evaluated for damage by a Hybrid trained mechanic since it had been driven and possible serious damage.  This was at a time when there were fewer Hybrid cars on the road. Owner not only continued to deny responsibility, refused to share any cost at all, was difficult to contact in person (I visited his location no fewer than 8 times trying to have a personal meeting),  and he absolutely refused to provide his insurance contact information.   Said I could call my own insurance company. This company might have some qualified mechanics, but they can't be all knowing in all situations - as evidence by a mistake as obvious as filling a tank with the wrong fuel.      I would not  trust any service from them that needs to be backed up by this owner's commitment to quality service and satisfaction.

    PROMPTO INC
This place is great, super fast and they are not aggressive on the unnecessary up-sells like some other quick change places are. I purchase a product here for my windshield called Trico Glass Treatment (the technicians did not ask, I picked this up myself and applied it at home), and this stuff was amazing, far superior to other brands I've tried. It is worth stopping in just to pick some of this stuff up.

    Phil's Automotive Repair
He has a new shop with all new tools and equipment. He is quite knowledgeable. I recently had a problem with my plow truck and he was able to get me in quickly. He does not waste a lot of time just standing around talking. If I am scheduled to bring my truck in and something else comes up, he is good about calling me to let me know.
