The vets always have time to explain everything in detail. They are extremely thorough and take time to answer any and all of our questions.

The sneezing developed into an infection just prior to the head X-ray, so an antibiotic was one of the meds we were given, along with an antihistamine and a steroid.  With the head X-ray showing nothing, the only other recourse along that route was a nasal probe in Portland, the cost of which would have been close to $1000. We opted for the meds. Our cat was pretty lethargic from the anesthesia ne...

Visit went well. Doctor gave a complete examination and asked all the right questions. In all likelihood, this is a minor issue resolvable with fur-ball medicine and it was good to know that other flavors are out there that our cat may find more agreeable. We had Dr. Olson

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Cat had an ear partially torn in a fight that was almost healed and has been coughing of late. Provider examined and cleaned cat's ear and recommended hydrogen peroxide treatment. Provider examined heart, lungs and fur of cat, noticing shedding and that heart and lung were in good shape, ruling out a general infection as the cause of the coughing. Suspected, as did we, that it was a furball and recommended furball meds. Administered one treatment of tuna-flavored meds--the same we use at home, and recommended changing flavors so the cat was more accepting of it. Said it would be better to go that route and delay any further testing, which could get expensive, until we've had a chance to experiment with the different types of food we're feeding the cats and the recommended medicine.

I appreciate their patience and concern for the welfare of my pets. We lost our therapy dog, Sally, who has been with our family for over 12 years. She was a gentle golden-retrieve mix who was always by my side. I cannot describe how hard it was...

My cat had something wrong and after much testing and even referring me to another vet no one could figure it out. I'd signed papers with the other vet to have my cat put down. On the drive home Dr. Richie called to tell me he would do surgery. After the surgery we still couldn't figure out the problem but my cat survived and is still, years later, doing great! The other vet told me I'd have to ta...

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
The staff and Dr. Richie performed above and beyond what they could have to save the life of my dear cat. They are caring, concerned, and explain in detail every bit of information you could possibly need. I won't take my animals anywhere else. Excellent!Performed surgery on my cat in a hopeless case. He survived and is still thriving.
