  • I can't even begin to explain the entire saga! In a nutshell my protection agreement with sears for the washer and dryer I purchased from Sears is turning out to be a terrible investment. I actually had one of their technicians who arrived very much after my 4 hour time window) tell me " it's has to lead in front of me and it isn't leaking right now so I call you if something changes??? The next tech 2 weeks later said "that is ridiculous we are the experts and he should of asked for towels or anything and ran a cycle to see the leak! Well since that debacle I have had 3 more visits and again they did not arrive in the 4 hour window not did they fix the leak. The last guy said he found the leak, a cracked drum so he ordered 6 parts and rescheduled me for 2 weeks later which was last Wednesday the 5th. Techs arrived and discovered one of the parts did not arrive after many phone calls to their "STACK" dept (technician support) and UPS it was discovered Sears never sent the missing part but I was told "don't worry we will reorder the part" worry excuse me? That was not doing me any favors I am under warranty they HAD to order the part! That was followed up with we can reschedule you for July 17th remember this visit was on the 5th and that was after numerous visits without repairing now they finally arrive to actually fix my washer and the part was never sent after *** another 2 weeks and now they are being so helpful they will come on the 17th!!!!! Trust me I was very patient the first second and even third visit to "repair" my washer but this has been going on for 2 months countless hours waiting for my 4 hour window which always ran much later for their arrival and after all of that they tell me your all set I adjust this or that etc and they leave I do a load of laundry and my laundry room gets flooded again! One of the customer service reps suggested I just go to a laundromat.... for 2 months with a family of six when I paid for a Sears top of the line protection agreement? Thanks but no thanks how about instead you send someone out here to honor the agreement and FIX my washing machine. This is honestly the first review I have ever done in my 51 years of life but enough is enough! I also informed them that my laundry room is on the second floor and the drywall on my first floor is all water stained and starting to bubble and crack their suggestion was to file a claim which I contacted that department and the runaround began all over again don't have the heart muscle to deal with more attitudes and hurdles to jump also read reviews from other sears customers that claimed they make customer pay contractor for repair and claim they will reimburse you after you submit copy of your payment and then sears never reimburses you. So my suggestion would be to steer clear of Sears they have zero customer service!!!!

  • I initially set up a time for Monday 4-18-16 for repair on a Kitchen Aide refrigerator.  I received a call within 1 1/2 hours of posting the request for service.  Keep in mind this was a Saturday night, on a weekend, at 8:00 pm.  He asked questions about the issues with  the refrigerator.  The questions were not basic, they went into detail.  He asked about the temperature on both sides, refrigerator and freezer.  He asked  if I could fear the motor and compressor running,  He asked if it I could feel cold air on either side, as well as others.  After a conversation, that lasted approximately 1/2 hour, he told me that he would call me in the morning.  The morning meaning Sunday morning.
On Sunday Morning, at 9:40 he called back and we had another 20 minute phone conversation about my issue.  When he felt that he could not assist  me to the best of his abilities, in the time frame he was looking at, being Sunday, he gave me the name and number of someone else that he thought could provide Sunday service. This was not to pass the buck, he was only attempting to help. When it comes to customer service, I would give him a OUTSTANDING for the service he provided.  He went out of his way, on a weekend, for me, the customer, with a courteous and pleasant attitude and the desire to help.  I would call him again in the future and recommend recommend him to anyone who asked.

  • When the service man was stumped he brought the owner of the company to help him figure out what the problem was with our dryer. We love the persistence and how reasonably priced it was!  Glad to have our dryer back.

  • Gilbert was very accommodating. I received a response to my initial email inquiry within an hour. He was able to schedule the service call for the next morning. We spoke on the phone and agreed on a time (not a time window!). He was prompt-even a couple of minutes early. Gilbert worked quickly to diagnose the problem with my refrigerator, explaining what he was doing along the way. He finished the job and even vacuumed under the fridge (an area unrelated to the repair). A few hours after the service call he called to find out if the fridge was still working properly. I couldn't be more pleased with the service from Crest. I will definitely use them next time.

  • On Sunday, I noticed a puddle of water near my refrigerator. Upon opening door I saw that the entire contents of the freezer had all defrosted and that the refrigerator side was not keeping the food cold. I immediately called Crest Appliance Repair and left a message. My call was promptly returned even though it was a weekend. Mr. Rubin said he would be available the next morning to check it out. He arrived on time, reviewed the situation and immediately replaced the broken part. He stayed on site to ensure replaced part was working. This is the third time I have used this company and have not been disappointed. Fast, Courteus, and Professional service. Would highly recommend.

  • I contacted the provider to schedule the appointment. In between then and when they contacted me to confirm the appointment, my dishwasher miraculously started working again. I contacted the provider and advised them that I would no longer need the service. I have since contacted Angie's List in order to get a refund of the Big Deal purchase. The provider was very courteous and professional throughout the process and I have saved their name for future use.

  • The first thing the repair man said was in 20 years he had worked on 2 units of this brand. Then he spent 40 min trying too run the code that he was following step by step from his instructions and could not figure it out. He made a call and decided that they needed a part. I paid my service contract amount since I have AHS. He rescheduled for a different date. We told him it needed 2 people to pull out the unit. The whole time he was he at this point he whined the whole time about all the wires this oven has in the back. He was not happy about being given this task and made it obvious.

Part came and they returned on given date. Second guy that came to help. The impression this guy gave me was that is was a know it all...however he had never worked on this brand! My confidence level was fading very fast. Then they handed me a piece of paper to sign that said if they ruin, drop, damage anything pulling out the unit they are not responsible. I was not happy. First I had no confidence since they had never worked on the unit, second they never told me the time before. I would have called my insurance co to see if it was covered, etc. now that this was presented seconds before these guys were getting ready to work on the unit I was stunned. I said I needed to speak to a supervisor to see if there were any other guys who may know more about how to work on the unit. I understand they wanted to cover their butts but these guys already told me they had no idea what they were doing. I said what if you drop it, they said...we will try not to but if we do then then the "cover your butt form" (my words not there) covers us. They told me I was basically being hysterical because I wanted to speak to someone else about it. When I said again I wanted a supervisor the first guy that had come said I am a supervisor. (Right). Then I said I want the number of his boss...with that they closed down their computers and headed for the door. Told me they had other work to do. As they were walking I asked several time for their names. Reluctantly they gave them to me. Peter and Dale. I immediately call customer service. I spoke to an offshore person so I said I need to speak to someone locally. They transferred me to a male who I thought was American. (Sadly after you hear what he said). I when through a quick synopsis and asked what would you do. His answer and I quote "I would never use A and E Factory Service and I would never buy from Sears (parent company) so I would not have to make that discussion". I said excuse me..he repeated it again. He then transferred me to someone else. I was in shock and still am. Sears took my info and was going to have someone call me back but that has not happened. I still have a double oven that does not work!

  • The experience went very well. They came out very quickly and gave a quote right away. I just poured on that project right now. They were very polite on the phone and came very quick and efficient. Their price was probably too high for what I needed but their service was good.

  • The problem was quickly corrected but the $16.32 charge for a small, simple, easily accessible switch and $30 labor fee for about 30 minutes work, on top of the $99.95 service charge seemed high. I don't know what another repair company might have charged for the same work however. I was given a $10 credit though when I used my Angie's List online coupon.
