I have written a separate review for Dr Steinberg, the surgeon involved.  I rate this overall facility just as poorly as I did him for three reasons.  The first being that they employ Dr Steinberg.
Additionally, when Dr. Steinberg felt compelled to bring in a second surgeon from the facility for another opinion after the surgery this surgeon agreed with Dr Steinberg's analysis with just a very cursory examination.  I don't know if he reviewed the MRI or not.  As Dr Steinberg eventually pointed out, his and the other doctor's evaluations were both opinions.  However there is now pretty strong evidence that they were both wrong based on further testing (which they could have ordered) showing continued strength deficit, and an additional 4 hour revision surgery (obviously by another doctor from another facility).  Whether this other surgeon was colluding with Steinberg in agreeing with him or was simply just independently wrong can't be known.
Last, the PA whom I saw more than the surgeon after the procedure until I began to demand otherwise, was fairly worthless beyond removing the sutures.  He, like the surgeon initially, did not even note the concerns I raised in his office notes.
I now recommend finding a prospective surgeon using  several inputs.  Use a customer based rating service like Angies's List and the many others available.  Use a peer based rating service like US News and World report.  I feel these are even better than customer based services.  And use whatever records are in the public domain to check on their legal history.  In Maryland the Maryland Judiciary Case Search website is very useful.  Do not rely on non-governmental ratings websites to give you this history.  Good luck!
