AA A Action Waterproofing IncOur 20'x20' rental townhouse basement flooded. The team came out that day to give me an estimate and explained how they would do the work. They cut a foot wide and foot deep of concrete around the perimeter of the basement plus a hole for the sump pump. They filled it with drainage tile and new concrete, and put in a pipe to remove water from the sump pump basin to the outside. They even buried the pipe so it wouldn't get hit by the lawnmower. They were easy to work with (I did it all over the phone, and then they worked with my tenant to schedule the work) and comply with industry association standards for waterproofing. Their price was competitive and their scheduling was great - they could have been there 2 days after the flood but the community parking lot was being repaved, delaying the work. The job took 2 days to complete. No complaint from my tenant, but the concrete needs to set for at least 3 weeks before we can finish the damaged drywall and flooring.- Dawn L.

AA A Action Waterproofing IncThe inspector Allan was helpful with identifying the problem and explaining different options of how to fit. Unlike the other company's I had out to the property, he was pretty straight forward with what needed to be done. Another thing I liked was that he didn't hassle me to sign the contract on the spot. When you are spending this kind of money, you like to have time to think things over. The office staff was very helpful with answering any questions I had. I even called them on a Saturday and they were more than happy to help me. This pleased me because I got the feeling that if I ever had issues, I would be able to reach someone. When the work began, the foreman (I forget his name) introduced him self before getting started. The work was loud but that is to be expected with work of this nature. After they finished the installation, the foreman walked through the basement with me to make sure everything was up to my expectations. I had a good experience overall. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for an honest low pressure estimate.- Franklin H.

AArmored Basement WaterproofingThe workman were nothing short than exceptional. Working with the owner however was nothing short of disastrous. Upon inquiring as to when the workers would show up for work I was met with a barrage of "what for and why nots" the owner has no idea as to the scope or requirements of the project and was looking to me to explain the contract that his sales staff had previously coordinated. He nearly caused me to cancel the work. His foremen Paul saved the day with his energy and willingness to accomplish a quality job. Way to go Paul!- Jim C.

ABudget Waterproofing IncTwo workers showed up at the appointed time. They went to great lengths to ensure the area remained clean. They worked quickly & efficiently and had the old concrete opened, the pit dug, pit liner & pump installed and piped through the foundation wall to the outside in a matter of a few hours. Cleanup was quite thorough, when they were done you wouldn't have known they had been there had it not been for the newly installed sump pump. Due to some heavy rains in the weeks since we have been able to see the sump pump at work and so far it has performed flawlessly. Great job!- Russell P.

AWe are so happy that we got an estimate from Armored Basement Waterproofing. Prior estimates from other supposedly reputable companies wanted to sell us a sump pump drainage system. After his inspection, Gary found the leak to be from around our basement window. He recommended we repair the mortar of the window well, along with resealing the caulk around the window. A much easier fix that we could do, essentially talking us out of hiring him. His solution fixed the problem, unlike his competitors' desire to sell us something we did not need. It is refreshing to find someone as knowledgeable and with integrity as Gary. We will definitely call him in the future if the need arises.

AHad a great experience with Chris Kuper at Basement Detective! My basement flooded from non-stop storms and I needed a sump pump installed along with complete renovation of my basement. They were very competitive in pricing and outstanding in results. Chris even helped coordinate with the contractor doing my basement renovation after the sump was installed to make sure none of the drainage was disturbed by the new work being done. I have since weathered at least 3 large storms and can hear the sump working as needed. Very happy with the results!
