    Next Level Contracting
We needed a variety of projects completed to sell our house. Brandon came out to our house reviewed the list and did an inspection of his own. He was able to tell us what on our list was a code issue and what was simply cosmetic. He was even able to identify incorrect items on the home inspection report. We were in a time crunch and he was able to come to our house on short notice. We had several contractors tell us that the entire hose bib needed to be replaced which would have cost several hundred dollars and required us to cut into a wall. Brandon was able to identify that the hose bib just required a new washer which cost a few dollars and the hose bib worked properly. For the plumbing issue there were flex pipes used under the bathroom sinks it was very confined space. It was not an easy fix as the sink and the pipes from the wall we're not aligned, but Brandon was able to replace the flex pipes so that the plumbing was up to code. Brandon's high skill level was obvious and he gave us a very fair price. We will definitely be using him for our next project our new house.

Great work, Ken O'Dell, a top not craftsman in his field. A true professional, when errors were found, Ken resolved them with consultation with me and how to proceed. On a project this big, its hard to find minutia items until you are there doing the job, and that's where Ken excels. We are enjoying our brand new kitchen and very pleased with the investment.

Nick arrived promptly. He throughly looked at and diagnosed problem. He explained what the problem was and said he would order the necessary parts. He returned the next day and completed the repair. Nick was very nice and polite and conducted himself in a very professional manner! Michael & Son Svc Inc
I would like to start with my apologies for the length of this review but I needed to get all of the information down. We have recently purchased a new home. The house did not have a washer and dryer so we needed to make this purchase. When the washer was delivered a leak in the shut-off valves was discovered when the valves were opened. I decided it best to have a plumber take a look and complete the repair on the valves. My wife was home for this repair. I was unable to make the meeting, so she met the plumber. The plumber came in and started with a quote of over $800.00 to replace two leaking shut-off valves. My wife thought that I should talk to the plumber and called me at work. After discussing with the plumber, he stated that the proposed repair was to cut a one foot square in my wall, cut the existing pipes, solder new sections of pipes onto the freshly cut existing ones that had shut-off valves already installed onto the end of them. I explained to him, over the phone, that the process of replacing the shut off valve was to unscrew the old valve from the pipe and screw a new valve onto the old pipe. No soldering was required in this approach and no hole would need to be cut. My solution would only take between 15-30 minutes to complete as to the three hour process he was proposing and should cost less than $300.00 for a plumber to complete. He explained that it was not possible to simply replace the shutoff valves as they were too old (my house was built in the 80s). I had him hand the phone back to my wife and told her that the call was hers as I was done dealing with this guy and ready to tell him to get out of our house. She stated that she would rather have it fixed now and the repair was started. About 30 minutes later, I received another call from my wife stating that the plumber was able to repair just the shut-off valve without cutting the wall. He did this by replacing only the shut-off valves. I asked her if she could see any dripping from the valves when they were opened and she replied that she was unable to verify as the hoses were not attached and that installing the washing machine was going to cost $300.00. I told her to hand the phone off to the plumber. I asked him how he was going to verify that his work was completed without screwing the hoses back onto the shutoff valves. He replied that the valves are not leaking and that the water to the house was turned back on. My reply was that the old valves did not leak when they were closed either. We only discovered the leak after the hoses were attached and the valves were opened. I told him that I did not want the washer installed but I did want him to check his work by attaching the hoses and opening the valves. I was talking to my wife while this was completed to verify that there were no more issues. She verified that the shut-off valves were not leaking so the payment was processed. When I got home, I took a look to see the finished product and noticed that the plumber screwed the hot lead to the cold supply and vice versa. I also noted that he neglected to replace the housing around the supply lines. It has been four business days since this repair and I have yet to receive a receipt for the work completed and documentation of what I paid. If you made it to the end of this review, you understand that there is no way I will ever call Michael and Son for any work in the future. I hope that my review has given you insight into Michael and Son and you decide the same.

Southern Maryland Kitchen Bath Floors & Design
Everything was great, they took the keys and drove like professionals, no headache ,hassle free This is a great one stop shop , they are a A to Z company, very informative on products they use.you will be treated like family from beginning to end of your project is completed, I also would like to say, the design team is great, but the team of installers they have ( no sub contractors) are amazing, they really care about every little detail. Highly recommend

    Basement Masters Waterproofing
Randall came out to evaluate for giving us an estimate. We received the estimate and shortly thereafter, Walter and his crew came and began the work to completely redo our drainage system. We had been having problems with water seepage into the basement. We had the foundation repaired, and a new drainage system and sump pump installed. The work was somewhat pricey, but we are very happy with the results. Without this work, we would have expected several episodes of water in the basement, during this spring and summer of well-above average rainfall. Instead, our basement has been totally dry.

    Sykes Plumbing Services
I called Sykes Plumbing services on a Saturday to come out and look at a leak in my laundry room. The young lady I spoke with was professional and pleasant. She confirmed availability of a plumber to provide same day service and provided a ballpark estimate of what the repair may cost based on my description of the problem. She also shared that there was a fee (very reasonable) to diagnose the problem and if I approved the work to be completed then the fee would be applied to the cost of the repairs. This was fine with me. Mr. Sykes, a master plumber and the owner of the company, arrived within the specified timeframe and wore shoe covers to protect my floor. Mr. Sykes was professional, neat in appearance and pleasant to deal with. He introduced himself, handed me his card and went to work. He assessed the problem and found that there was no plumbing problem but rather my wash machine was leaking. Although Mr. Sykes did not make any repairs since the leak was an appliance issue, I would call Sykes Plumbing Services again. Mr. Sykes was honest in his diagnoses and did not try to make a job where there wasn't one. I rated him an "A" in all categories as a result.

    Jerry's Plumbing and Heating Co.
My kitchen sink was draining into my laundry room. The women who answered was very nice and helped calm my freak out about my room flooding. They came on time, very professional, and fixed my problem. Will be calling again if I have a problem with anything else in the future.

    Sykes Plumbing Services
The only issue was I was first quoted a price of between $1,500 to $1,600 for a gas 40-gallon water heater. Once the crew arrived, I was informed that the cost of a 50-gallon tank would be $2,217.00. Fortunately, I was in the position to adjust my finances to pay the additional funds. After moving into the house approximately a year and a half ago, with the home built in 2000, I realized the original builder used the minimum quality of appliances I had the plan to upgrade all of the devices.
