There is a particular groomer there that we request every time named Catherine. She's great. The dog loves her. She takes care of him. She clips his nails and everything. She doesn't push extra services on us. He's happy when he gets home.

He has great knowledge of dogs. He knows what foods for different breeds of dogs. He knows a lot about dogs. He has been very well on it. There's nothing bad to say about this company. I've been using them for the last 3 years.

    GROOM ROOM LLC
I like using the mobile grooming service. It's very convenient and I think the price is reasonable given it prevents me from having to drop off and pick up my dog, my dog is not crated and usually finished within an hour. I have a small dog. The service has been excellent, they get to know your dog and your preferences over time so the service feels personalized. The mobile grooming is usually done by the owner (very experienced) and the other technician is very experienced as well. On occasion they may be running a little late, but they always call to let me know so that I can decide if I need to rebook and It is rare but sometimes traffic can slow down a "mobile groomer".

.I have been using them for about two years. I like the fact that you can just walk in you don't have to have an appointment. They have quick prompt service and you pay after the service. I usually don't have to wait at all to be serviced as soon as you walk in there is someone there to assist you.

After having some very bad, and one very good groomer for our 3 year old Shih Tzu, decided to give Pet Smart another try. I was met at the grooming desk by a very cocky employee with a self righteous attitude. After asking who may be to most qualified to groom our dog, she curtly stated that everyone is qualified to do so. Knowing full well that we all have our strengths and weaknesses, expected at least a suggestion as to who may have been best suited for the job, but gave up and left.  Went across the road to Petco and received and honest opinion from an isle worker. I took the suggestion and received an amazing service, to be conveyed in another note.

    GROOMING BY MARCEY
I have a Cavalier/Bichon mix puppy that had a terrible first grooming experience at Petsmart...they didn't even end up performing the service there and as a result I decided to look for a different type of grooming experience. I found Marcey on Angie's List and went with her because she takes one pet at a time in the privacy of her own salon; she also has several excellent reviews about her bedside manner, which is exactly what I needed.Marcey came out to greet us on the day of our visit. She showed us into her darling basement salon, which is so cheerful and cozy, yet professional. Right away I could tell Marcey loved animals. I explained that my puppy is still very shy around new people and the bad experience she had at Petsmart. Marcey understood immediately and explained that it would just take some time to get Cosette used to the process. She worked very slowly and deliberately, giving Cosette the chance to warm up to her and her surroundings. I was able to stay and help, which I was extremely happy about.Marcey trimmed Cosette's face with scissors first, then we took her over for a nice oatmeal bath. She was towel dried and then Marcey introduced her to the blow-dryer. She was very gentle and patient. Once Cosette was mostly dry, She trimmed around Cosette's feet and even was able to use a trimmer to trim her backside. She clipped Cosette's nails and even put a cute little bow in my baby's hair. By the time we were done, Cosette knew Marcey was a friend, and she was very happy to wander around the salon while I scheduled a follow-up appointment.Marcey only charged $15 since she said she really didn't do that much and I helped. I insisted on giving her $20--it was well worth the amazing service! We will be returning every 4-6 weeks so Cosette can get more and more accustomed to the process. Next time Marcey said she will trim more and work on Cosette's tummy area.Overall I am thrilled with Marcey- she obviously understands and loves animals, and will do whatever is necessary to make sure her customers have a great experience. Cosette and I couldn't be happier!

This was an awful, awful experience. I took our 4 month old Cavachon puppy to get her first hair cut, since her hair is getting long. This is a very sweet puppy, gets along well with everyone, but is nervous around strangers until she has time to warm up to them. We went through the intro with the groomer and I told her that she gets nervous around new people and surroundings. They seemed a little disorganized, but took her to the back room and said they'd call us when she was done.

We were walking around the store killing time, and not more than 30 minutes later the groomer came out and told me she wouldn't be able to groom our puppy at all, that she was so scared in the crate that she couldn't get her to come out and she was nipping at her. Well, I immediately went to the back room with the groomer and saw my poor baby curled up in the back of a cage, totally terrified. I coaxed her out with a few treats and took her in my arms to leave. She was shakey the whole way home.

The worst part was that in the end, the groomer said she wouldn't recommend treats because it would reinforce the bad behavior on the part of the dog. Are you kidding me?! She was obviously scared senseless by the way you treated her, and I have seen our vet give treats to let a dog know that she is her friend. Ridiculous! she also said we should bring our pup back when she was better socialized...definitely will never be returning to another Petsmart again! I proceeded to go home and wash and brush our puppy with no problems whatsoever. Obviously they are doing something wrong at the Waldorf Petsmart.

    Country Clipper
Always friendly (and obviously dog lovers). Very professional in answering any questions or concerns we have ever had.  You get what you pay for and then some.  The staff in each "department" definately knows what they are doing. The kennel is always very clean and  their systems are well organized as you will see if you take a tour. Plus, the reports we get at the end of our dogs visits are honest, i.e. Monty did not eat for a day so chicken and rice was offered, also Monty decided to tear up the mat in his area so he now gets lots of blankets instead.

We always walk away knowing that Monty will be very well cared for day and night because the manager lives right next door and checks on the dogs every night, plus the day time staff seem to be very watchful and involved with the dogs.

We appreciate the care that is given and are glad we can show it by writing this review.

    Waldorf Animal Clinic
WE HAVE USED THE CLINIC FOR OUR TWO DOGS FOR 10+ YEARS AND BECAUSE THEY OFFERED A HAIR CUTTING SERVICE. THE TWO DOGS DON'T SHED AND HAVE TO BE GROOMED TWICE A YEAR. THE PREVIOUS GROOMER WAS FAIR BUT NOT CUTTING AS WELL AS THE FIRST PERSON. THE PRESENT GROOMER REPLACED HER AND DOES A VERY UNEVEN CUT AND DOESN'T CUT TO GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS WITH POOR GENERAL APPEARANCE OF THE PETS.
