Scheduled appointment with "Scott." He called, after scheduled time, wanted to reschedule; I said no. He said, "Thanks for wasting his time," as he hung up. Wasting his time, not. As the customer, be prepared for such rudeness.

Jeisen and his team finally showed up after several attempts to get them to my house. I actually had hired him last year but cancelled his services after several inconsistencies in responding and showing up as agreed. I decided to give him a chance this past May due to his price. He showed up and powerwashed my deck and fence. I paid him half the money - $600.00. Our agreement was he was to come back in a few days after the deck and fence dried to complete the staining. After several attempts and a cashed check of $600.00 he didn't show up or respond. I also discovered that he didn't powerwash both sides of the fence as we agreed. I called him again several times. He finally responded and asked for photos of the incomplete fence.. which I provided. I never heard from him again. I now have to sue to get my money back. I'm very disappointed in the lack of response. I gave him my business and this is the result l. I would not recommend Jeisen Handyman Services!!!!!!

It was okay. I paid more and I was aware when I purchased the deal because I ended up with the entire fence repair. The work itself was good, I cannot complain. Overall I thought it was a little pricey. It was overpriced.

The first year, 2015, we wanted to put up a 5 foot fence to keep our dogs on the property and the neighbors dogs out.  Our original plan was tremendously expensive.  We gave George our budget and he came up with a plan that met our needs without breaking that budget.  It took a couple of days more than expected but it was a large job and the results were very good.

This spring, 2016, we called to get our back acre fenced in. This time they had to go through a wooded lot and along a field.  There were trees, thorn bushes and a ravine to deal with.  It took a while longer than expected to get the materials ready; it was a very large job, but once they got started they got it done in just a week.  The work is well done and the quality of the materials excellent.  The crew was well mannered and respected the property, keeping things clean and picked up.

They were able to come out and do an estimate the same day we visited the showroom.  They were able to squeeze us in between to other estimates.  When we told them what we wanted and walked the property they gave us price and it was much higher than we wanted to spend.  When we told them what our budget was they were able to tell us what they could install and stay withing that budget.  It was a big job and took a few days but they did excellent work. We have a good looking fence around our property that keeps our dogs in the yard and the wandering neighbors' dogs out.

He instead used my power washer and washed both of my old gates and rehung them, using my old hardware, and used incorrect type of fence posts.  The gates are hung too high, crooked, and mounted in-properly on the gate posts.  He demanded his money, but his foreman said he would return the next day to correct one of the gates.  Not seen him.  Also, after telling me they used not one, but one and a half bags of concrete in each post hole, there is no evidence of any concrete having been used.  My wife said she saw the crew mix nothing.  I will have to go dig up one post to verify.  He also used many of my personal tools from my garage and when finished, threw them in a bucket and left them there.  All scrap materials left behind, where dropped.

If Angie's allowed me to upload photos here, I would!

His business card states he is licensed and insured, but the State of Maryland has no record of his license.  He is listed, however, on a list maintained by Charles County, containing service providers hoping to receive contract bids to provide work for the county.

My experience with McGee from the initial quote to the installation of the fence was positive. Beginning with the initial quote, they provided an accurate estimate based on our requirements. We even had to change the initial estimate and they modified accordingly with no issues. They had staff on hand to answer any questions we had. They arrived on the day of installation early and on time. The foreman, Julio, was friendly and provided expertise during the install. He made sure to follow up with me on any questions they had about our preferences and to make sure the job was correct. The entire job was completed in a satisfactory manner from start to finish. They even finished earlier than originally projected. I was impressed with the quality of work and most of the cleanup afterwards. They do cleanup after their work and they follow up with the customer to ensure the job is completed. McGee may be slightly pricey, but it was worth it in the end. I feel we received a quality product and service in the end. I would recommend McGee to anyone in need of fencing work for sure!

When they say they will beat a written estimate by $100, they mean it.  Everything went well until the day of installation.  My only issue with DMV is the lack of communication and honesty in why schedules changed.
We were advised the day before installation that one of the gates had arrived broken and that they did not want to delay installation of the fencing.  They left a voice message stating that they would install a tempoary gate until the replacement had been received.  The installers arrived on Friday, May 2, 2014 and began work.  I had to go over the layout, the property lines, etc.  I thought that would have been discussed with the installers, but good thing I was there.  The installers worked very hard and did a great job.  Kevin, the sales person stopped by to see how things were going.  He stated that after talking with the lead installer the fence would be completed in one day and they would not have to return the next day to finish.  They even worked past 6 p.m.  When they left they advised that they would probably be back on Tuesday, May 6 because they didn't have the right gates.  You can imagine my surprise when I was told they would be finished same day to the installer telling me they would be back some other day and not even the next day like it was scheduled.  Hmmm...., I thought only one gate was damaged and there was going to be a temporary gate installed for the interim.
None of this was communicated, plus we were on the schedule for Friday and Saturday.  Long story short, I had to email DMV and was "told" that they would be back on Tuesday, May 13th after I told them we would not be available nor could we take another day off from work.  I gave them alternates dates and was advised by DMV they would not be able to return until Saturday, May 17th.  Two weeks after the scheduled date.  For two weeks we had an unuseable fence because none of the three gates were installed, the caps were not placed on the posts, and there were large holes around posts that needed to be filled back in.  The entire pupose of purchasing the fence was for our 8 month old puppy.  By the way, there were 3 gates setting propped up against our house for the 2 weeks.  I was assuming that these were the gates that needed to be installed.
The installers arrived at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 17th and within a couple of hours they had completed the job.  I noticed that they did not use the gates that had been propped up against the house because those did not have a lattice top like the ones that are installed.  Makes me wonder what the real story was with the gates.  That is my only issue is the communication and the honesty about why the gates were not installed during the scheduled installation.
DMV would have received all "A's", but since they were not completely honest about the gates and the scheduling I decided to mark them down a bit.  Also, the fence was originally scheduled for installation for April 25th and 26th and without any notification or explanation we were sent a rescheduled invite that showed our installation had been moved out to May 2nd and 3rd.  Only after we contacted DMV to find out why the scheduled installation had changed, we were advised that the materials had not been received.  Again, a little communication initiated by DMV would have been nice.  The purchaser should not have to track down information about scheduled services, etc. when things change.

It went terrible. The salesman did not identify the actual problem and his solution made the gate look worse. It still slopes and the botton looks like it was a hack job. They replaced several boards and I now have a gate with mismatched boards.
They are not prompt in returning phone calls and they don't seem to care about working with customer to correct problem.

From sales to installation, they provided a great service. The salesman Bill was friendly, courteous, and efficient. I cannot be more pleased with how this project went. They even provided my neighbor a small section of fence at no charge to block out any pass-throughs from our yard. The workers were efficient, friendly, and super fast.
