    New home build. The team assigned to my home was excellent, knowledgeable, friendly and dedicated. They took the time to thoroughly demonstrate every piece of equipment installed. Following the initial installation, there were problems with the system twice. Their response was immediate each time and when they could not figure out the problem the second time, their supervisor came out and the tech office assisted. They stayed for over 5 hours until the problem was solved. All this was done on Valentine's Day. I have not had a problem since. We are very pleased.

    The system was self-installed and everything went great! This deal on Angie's List was the best one for the items and price. Shipping was fast and the instructions that came with the system was easy to follow and easy to install. I love that it was all tape and no need to drill any holes. Makes it easier to transport when I move as I installed it in an apartment. Simplisafe also offered the best prices for the monthly plans as many other alarm companies charged a lot higher monthly fee. This was a plus in my book. I had an initial issue where my base station was not connecting upon set-up because of a defective chip. Called customer service and they were super friendly and helpful and had a great experience. They gave me a free month for my inconvenience, and shipped a new chip to me via next-day air at no charge. Upon installing the new chip, all was good to go and have had no issues since. I recommend!

    The company called and explained all the details and differences between their alarm service and other leading alarm services.  I'd done research and Frontpoint came up as best choice on several home alarm service rating websites. 
    Once contacted, the company walked with me through the configuration of my home and the current alarm system.  We mixed and matched the components offered to best fit my home and the order was placed.  Received the system within four business days.  I am not the most handy person so something that would take a person about an hour took me about 2.5.  Partially because we had to take down all the old sensors and clean off the old goo in order for us to install the newly purchased system from Frontpoint. During this time I probably called these guys at least 7 or 8 times and each person I spoke with was patient and knowledgable.  Top notch service.......

    We stuck up the sensors and called up Frontpoint to get it activated and we had a monitored system in less than an hour.  The only confusing item I found was where to obtain the app for my Android phone.  That was in the Android store and is called the Alarm.com app.  This is because the monitoring is actually done by Alarm.com (which is a good thing).

    We replaced all the sensors from our old ADT alarm system with the new ones form Frontpoint and then I decided we could use a few additional ones to make the system even stronger.  These were ordered over the phone and arrived really fast.  They were preprogrammed.  I stuck them up and called Frontpoint and we were good to go with the new ones right away.  I love the web account interface and phone app to see all the things happening with the alarm at home.  It's a real comfort when we are traveling.  If we didn't already have some IP cameras watching the house, we'd get some from Homepoint.  If you have your own already, their system likely won't give you anything better. 

    Happy subscribers here.  We have a 3 year contract and will probably continue month to month when it finishes.

    Ordering the system was easy.  Setting up the system was easy, and using the system now is easy.  FrontPoint was very flexible with what they allowed me to switch out using the Angie's List offer.  The communication with them didn't feel like a sales pitch or an up sale.  It was a great experience and I would recommend them to anyone shopping for an alarm company.

    My installation went really well.  Larry did a great job and explained everything in GREAT detail.  I was very, VERY pleased.  He cleaned up my old alarm system and put it in a box for me and cleaned every area he worked in.  Great job Larry.  I would definitely use them again and only 1st Security!!!  Thanks Larry and Steven!

    The job was purchased through an Angie's List Big Deal, so the price was excellent.  The installation went well.  It was easy to set up an installation appointment.   The contractor showed up on time and worked efficiently.  He told me in advance what he was going to do and why, offered advice on the best configuration for my home, and effectively demonstrated how the new equipment worked.  The company does preparatory work to make installation and billing as seamless as possible.  They even filled out and submitted, on my behalf, an amended form for my local government to register my home alarm.  I was pleasantly surprised at that.   I would hire this company again and I would recommend the company to others.  
    My only criticism comes from what I regard as unnecessary pressure to submit a favorable Angie's List review at the time of installation, in the presence of the contractor.  I declined, but had to do so several times to make clear that I was not comfortable submitting a review at that time.   I don't know if the contractor was pressing me to do an on-the-spot "A" review due to company policy or because he just wanted me to submit an "A" review.  But that insistence had the opposite effect - doing the review went right to the bottom of my to-do list.  It was a minor misstep during an overall favorable experience, but since I don't like that kind of pressure, it was memorable.
    I will say, however, that six months after installation of my new alarm system, I am very glad that I installed the new system.  With a home alarm, it's not just the hardware, but the monitoring service that is very important.   It's easy for me to monitor and change my alarm status through my cellphone.  The monitoring company is extremely proactive about letting me know of any potential problems with my system as they routinely communicate with my system to ensure it is working properly.  The system I have also warns of severe weather, which is a nice bonus.

    FrontPoint Security was very courteous, professional and responsive. They have a great customer service. I had originally called them to switch companies, but somehow in making some changes to my current service, it correct my problem with my current service provider. I then contacted FrontPoint to return my unused equipment and they did so without any hassle and a full refund. I told their customer service rep that if I ever decide to switch security companies, they will definitely be the first company I call.m

    Vintage was the existing provider, but we looked at others as well. After our review of other providers, we found that Vintage had the best price, service options and was the most professional. They also offered additional remote access services so that you can control and monitor access to your home remotely.  Our sales rep, Mike, was great. There was no pressure and he walked us through everything. It was a great experience.
