    City Renovations & Remodeling LLC
I highly recommend City Renovations and Remodeling to new and experienced homeowners and investors. In fact, Mike Wiggs, owner of the company, was highly recommended to me from a trusted source. Mike has been my designer, general contractor and project manager for over three years. He and his team of subcontractors for all the trades and handymen have successfully completed numerous projects for me. The internal big jobs included Mike and his team remodeling my basement into a permitted apartment with an egress window, injection well system, and recessed lighting; remodeling my kitchen into a larger space, better layout and upgraded appliances, cabinets, backsplashes (e.g., switching from an electric cooktop island to a slide-in gas range and installing a peninsula); changing the location of the sliding door and a set of windows in my sunroom for better flow and sightline from the front door entry to the patio door leading to my wooded backyard; replacing the damaged one of the two HVAC systems (i.e., one for the first floor and basement and the other for the second floor); and whole house interior painting and decorative touches (accent walls, trim, etc.) The external big jobs included Mike and his team resolving the sources of severe water damage to my two-story front door entry area and installing a new door, side lites and stoop. He resolved other water problems at my house by installing upgraded, larger gutters connecting to a new underground drainage system, and re-grading a section of the backyard next to my house in order to better collect water coming onto the house and move it away from the house. The other jobs Mike and his team completed include installing decorative lighting in the front of my house and security lighting at the sides and back; installing and repairing wooden privacy fencing in my backyard; washing away years of mold, mildew and stains from the siding of my house; and installing shelving for two closets and the laundry room to increase my storage space. After years of City Renovations and Remodeling successfully improving or repairing my home, I hired the company to help me with an investment rental property. Mike completed a walk-thru assessment and report to supplement the information from the home inspector and appraiser. Through my pre-purchase consultation with Mike, I got a good idea of what it would take improve the property given my goals and budget. I look forward to working with Mike and his team to renovate the property.

    4 Service Pros
They came out and found the sump pump was not the problem. We talked about running a camera into the line of the sump pump but when he came out he said this was not what I needed. He found the bricks were cracked around the foundation. I was very impressed with his honesty as he could have charged me to run the camera into the line which would have cost me about $600. I would highly them and I will use them from now on.

    Basement Remodeling Company
Basement Masters is absolutely AWESOME! We get so many compliments on our basement and we are truly enjoying it! I met with 3 or 4 companies before deciding on Basement Masters. They are not the least expensive company but they are definitely the best and worth every penny! My neighbors used them as well. Their basement style is very different than mine but just as fabulous! From the very first consultation, Pavel, the owner of the company came out, gave me some ideas on designing my basement, provided a package of materials, an itemized price list of every conceivable option and a timeline. He wrote down my ideas and went into problem solver mode to find solutions. My basement is between 2000-2500 sf so it was a lot of work. Pavel is the consummate professional as is everyone on his team. I have worked with contractors before but never a company so organized. His operation runs like a well-oiled machine. He was available from start to finish to answer any questions and address any issues. He works 24 hours a day because I would send emails at 11pm and he would respond immediately. He had a full team of specialists, including an interior decorator and project manager, paint team, drywall team, electrician, plumber. This company has truly thought of everything to help you realize your dream basement and enjoy the entire process. I still use one of the companies that I learned about thru Basement Masters. If you are finishing your basement, you owe it to yourself to check out Basement Masters!

    Value Dry Waterproofing
Terrible. Technician came out for the initial inspection. Had to leave early and said he would be back the next day with a written estimate. Stood me up the next day and never returned to my house or, respond to the voicemail messages I left for him. After two weeks, called the owner of the company and requested a refund for my prepaid inspection.

    Basement Detective
Great job from beginning to end. We were only aware of a leak in one corner of the basement. However, the night before work began we had a huge storm and discovered an additional leak. This made the job go from about a 2 day job to 4. Even though they had several jobs booked they worked hard to fit the additional work in as quickly as possible. The entire staff responded quickly with all of my inquiries. Would highly recommend.

    Aquaguard Waterproofing
I'm actually having a problem with them now. I did have the job done but we're having a problem. It seems to be difficult to get the service out again to look at the problem. There's no real follow-up. They seemed to have to have done the job okay. It's been difficult to get someone out to follow-up.

    BENNETT WATERPROOFING
Mr. Bennett and his crew arrived on time.  They completed the work the next day.
They were courteous and professional, and completed all they promised to do, and cleaned up neatly after themselves.

    A A Action Waterproofing Inc

After a brief meet & greet I guided Paul to the problem-area of my basement, which happened to be the laundry room. I provided minor background information on my home, then pointed-out the area that leaked days earlier. Soon after the inspection had begun, Paul realized the problem-area was above ground level and wasted no time heading for the back yard. Due to his expertise, Paul noticed a few plants had sprouted from the roof-top gutter connection. This could only indicate the gutters were overdue for cleaning. Paul then explained how leaves clog gutters, potentially causing excess water to leak between the two brick walls of my home; ultimately causing the unwanted water leakage in the basement. With heavy rain in the forecast for the following day, Paul strongly advised that I find a contractor to come out and clean my gutters.

After taking Paul's advice, I'm happy to report I've had no more water leaks!

    The Crack Man
He was very competent. He was on time. He did exactly what he said he was going to do. He charged me exactly what he estimated. I would give him 5 stars. What stood out was his reliability. Overall, he was an A+.

    Aquaguard Waterproofing
Bob Hanson, manager of the commercial division, arrived promptly before our schedule appointment time. He asked us a few questions regarding our problem and then did a full assessment of our basement and examined our sump pump. He was very through and provided excellent advice for our current situation. Based on his assessment, he did not think that we needed waterproofing at this time. I loved that Bob was not interested in securing our business when we truly did not need the service. This tells me that AquaGuard cares about fixing the problem and not just cashing a check.
