    He was very flexible on availability to come out for an evaluation. I did not go through with the evaluation because I thought the diagnostic cost was high ($95) and because he said he did not accept credit cards. I may have given a try otherwise.

    They asked a number of questions to get an idea of the fridge make and model. Then they charged $139 to come out and tell me it was not working and they did not have the parts and needed to order them. Their were two items that needed to be fixed and they said the repairs required a separate repair free. I told them to forget it. They said they would refund $40 which I thought was great. However, I never received any money so I assume they were just words to placate me.

    He completed he repair for a refrigerator that another guy failed to fix.. He also fixed the stove without additional charge. He just charged for the part. He was very professional and respectful he cleaned up after himself and he was excellent

    In the beginning of April, he came first and took my $75.00 and for the first two weeks, the ref was working and then it stopped again. On the19th of April, he answered the phone the second time, he did not ask me and said he will just order two parts and after that we are never able to get in touch with him. My Insurance company and I were both unable to contact him after this, so the insurance send over another guy to fix the problem.

    This was an absolutely poor experience. After the initial contact on Dec. 22 wherein I was given the base diagnostic fee price and a service date of Dec. 27. I contacted Young's Appliance to reschedule the appointment for Thursday Jan. 4th but the technician cancelled the appointment due to inclement weather. I spoke with the receptionist on Jan. 4th and she indicated Young's would be at my house on Friday Jan 5th (I took off work to accommodate this appointment). I called the company on Friday for a tentative arrival time and was informed that the technician was "stuck" on another job and didn't know what time he would arrive at my house, he never did. If I wouldn't have called I would have never know it was going to be a no show. The receptionist then gave me another appointment for today Saturday Jan. 6th. Needless to say Young's Appliance has not shown up for the service and hasn't called to indicate if they are coming. I'v called the company and left voice and text messages with no response. This is beyond poor customer service and I'm very wary about doing business with Young's Appliance in the future. Fortunately I incurred no out-of-pocket expense so I can't attest to the quality of service this company provides.

    The job went quick and very well. Chris answered my call and said that he could come the same day. We didn't set a time; but within 2 hours, he showed up with his son who is in training. He instructed his son on how to get my garbage disposal unstuck. This took less than five minutes. He then worked on the refrigerator that no longer provided water from the dispenser. They inspected water lines to troubleshoot the issue. They asked for paper towels or towels to avoid the water spilling on the floor. Chris tighten the water filter and the water started flowing again. Because of several things attempted before calling Chris, I don't think that tightening the filter fixed the root problem. But that doesn't matter now because I have water. Bottom line...Chris is a no chit-chat guy. He is a professional who knows how to get the job done!

    It went terrible the technician destroyed my air vent and he did not tell me that he destroyed it I went to see about the work he did and when I saw what he did he called his supervisor and they took $20.00 off of the bill. To make it worst he put duct tape around the vent and left. He told me this happen all the time.

    He did the work and it is okay. Problem was that he arrived without the appropriate part and it took an extra day to get it and then another day for him to come back and install. Pricing advertised was not as cheap as it sounded, but it was not extraordinary. Seemed to be part of a big chain. Would not say quality of experience met what most people expect from American contractors. Not bad, not great.

    The repairman completed the service and they ran the machine through a couple of cycles to check that all was well. Later, after the repairman left and we attempted to wash clothes the original problems resurfaced. We were fed up with trying to find a solution and decided to purchase a new washing machine due to the length of time the machine had been out of order. A1 may have come back out to repair the machine a 2nd time, but we just wanted a working machine and decided to purchase one.
